THE ROLE

The Opportunity:
This is a dual-remit role combining ownership of our office environment with high quality support to our Core group. The Core group is the c.40-person team that brings together the firm’s central support services
The successful candidate will be the person who keeps our single-floor, c.60-desk open plan office running smoothly day-to-day, and who provides reliable ‘EA-type’ support to the CFOO and the heads of the Core group’s sub-teams. Office Management

This role will contribute to delivering Coram Children’s Legal Centre’s agreed programme of policy work, which focuses on immigration policy, education policy and children’s rights. The post-holder will play an important part in creating policy impact to promote the rights of children in the areas of immigration and education policy. Working with the Head of Policy and Practice Change, the Policy Managers and teams across Coram, the key objective of the role is to deliver policy work that has impact for children and centres the views and experiences of children and young people. To provide high-quality, person-centred support and housing management services to residents living within Causeway's Mental Health Needs Service. Our client is the national charity here for soldiers, past and present, and their families for life.Last year we supported over 75,000 soldiers, veterans and their families through this work including by funding 86 charities, from Combat Stress and Walking with the Wounded to smaller local organisations.
This is a 9-month part-time maternity cover contract, requiring 21 hours of work per week. The pro-rated salary for this role is £28,005 per annum. The postholder is expected to work from their offices in Victoria a minimum of 3 days every 2 weeks.
The postholder will coordinate the delivery of event plans across the fundraising products and London Marathon income stream on a pan-Charity basis, meeting strict deadlines and budget requirements to achieve efficiency and productivity from the income stream. You will be working in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Operations and the Assistant Director of Central Events and High Value Relationships.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and proven event manager, adept at synchronising activity, managing and allocating resources, and delivering expected outcomes to time, budget, and specification. They are looking for someone with excellent written and oral communication skills.
