To coordinate the planning and delivery of the GLORY Digital Festival from pre-production through to post-event follow-up, making sure speakers, session leads, interpreters, technical suppliers, youth co-chairs and participants all have what they need for a smooth, engaging and accessible experience. 

Location: Working remotely from home across the four nations of the UK, occasionally co-working spaces, with occasional travel

Start date: As soon as possible (Spring/Summer 2026)

Salary: £38,422 p.a. (FTE)

The Research and Design Officer plays a crucial role in our work at Dartington. They work alongside experienced Leads, Senior Researchers and Designers, to support a varied portfolio of research and design projects.

This ‘Officer’ role is sometimes also referred to elsewhere as a research or design ‘associate’, ‘fellow’ or ‘consultant’.

Key duties include data collection and analysis, covering both qualitative research and design engagements (workshops, interviews, and focus groups – with young people, practitioners and system leaders) and quantitative work (surveys, synthesis of secondary and administrative data).

The Research and Design Officer also plays a key role in synthesising learning and insights, into digestible, engaging reports and outputs for a varied mix of clients and partners.

As well as strong research skills, the candidate will also bring a strong approach to co-design, facilitation and visual design.

The Research and Design Officer works with our wider team to ensure that we approach our work with rigour and integrity. This includes an intentional focus in putting our anti-racist and equitable principles into practice, and preparing materials for ethical review.

Research and Design Officers work across multiple concurrent projects and report directly to experienced Leads (who specialise in research, evaluation, service design, youth and community engagement, and systemic change).

The role demands a highly relational approach – working with a diverse range of clients, partners and working styles - flexing approaches as required.  It also requires an ability to effectively context-switch and manage a varied workload and set of priorities. We’re looking for an experienced Programme Officer to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the delivery of our In2STEM Programme during a busy and high impact period. The Programme Officer will support the delivery of the In2STEM Programme including recruitment, planning, delivery, participant and volunteer management, and evaluation.

You will be responsible for recruitment, managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts), and managing relationships with supporters and funders. You will also support the planning, delivery and evaluation of programme activities including training and inductions, placements, online workshops, competitions and celebration events.

In2scienceUK is a remote based organisation, that requires occasional travel across the UK for recruitment, events, internal & external meetings and staff co-working days.

Duties and responsibilities:

Programme Delivery

• Managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts) from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, matching, onboarding, troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.

• Creating and developing engaging communication materials about the programme including video presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text, newsletters and images. 

• Monitoring student and volunteer (work experience host) applications to ensure targets and milestones are met. 

• Maintaining up to date records via the programme database and ensuring data protection. 

• Managing relationships with existing donors and supporters and networking to develop new relationships with prospective donors and supporters.

• Organising online skills workshops and careers panels, recruiting and coordinating volunteer speakers and panellists. 

• Planning and delivering in-person student inductions and celebration events.

Evaluation 

• Evaluating programme activities, using student and volunteer evaluation data and staff insights. 

• Supporting the creation and dissemination of case studies, working closely with the fundraising team to ensure funder requirements are met. 

• Supporting team members to create evaluation and student data reports.

• Lead the development and delivery of an integrated income-generation strategy.

Wolfram Syndrome UK (WSUK)

WSUK is a small national charity based in West Sussex that supports children, young people and adults affected by Wolfram Syndrome (WS) and their parents/wider families. WS is an ultra-rare genetic disorder which causes a complex range of symptoms, including diabetes mellitus, vision problems, renal problems, deafness, and neurological problems. WSUK Adult Support Co-ordinator Role

WSUK is seeking a part-time adult support co-ordinator (2.5 days per week, working over 4-5 days, 0.5 FTE, £14.1k-£15.6k per annum), based in the Midlands area. This home-based role will provide support to WS affected adults and their families to help improve the quality of their lives. Through liaising with professionals (including the WS expert clinical team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Birmingham), external or advocacy organisations, this role will help facilitate access to the services to which WS affected adults and their families are entitled. The adult support co-ordinator will help adults and their families to increase their confidence and independence in living with their condition. This role will also act as an important point of contact for WS affected adults, providing advice and support in confidence.

Skills and experience

Applicants should have several years’ experience in a similar position, working with people affected by sensory loss, long-term medical / genetic condition, or disability. Applicants should also have a strong desire to help improve the lives of adults living with a long-term condition or disability and be confident in talking with people with a range of abilities and diverse cultural backgrounds.

Applicants should have experience in working effectively as part of a remote team, be confident in working independently and in managing conflicting priorities.

About the Opportunity

The Soil Association Land Trust safeguards legacies of productive land, providing a safe haven and preventing land being lost from farming and growing. Land is donated by retiring farmers and landowners, often those with no dependents, who wish to see their life’s work continue into the future.

Their generosity means not only can we keep land for farming and growing but we can also provide opportunities for people to enter farming, often for the first time.

The Land Trust is part of the Soil Association family and is governed by its own Articles and its own Board of Trustees.
You will be working closely with colleagues in the Farming and Land Use and the Land Trust Woodoaks team.

About You

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the effective running and growth of the Land Trust charity. You’ll provide vital administrative and governance support, organising the AGM, board meetings and sub committees, preparing detailed minutes, and ensuring timely follow up of agreed actions. You will help keep our policies and procedures up to date and work closely with our accounts team to raise invoices and support credit control. Alongside this, you will contribute to the delivery of the Land Trust development plan, supporting fundraising initiatives and helping to produce promotional materials.
You will also be at the heart of managing our existing land holdings, liaising with tenants and land agents on tenancy matters, coordinating repairs and inspections, and supporting compliance. As we explore new land opportunities, you’ll help nurture relationships with existing and prospective donors and contribute to updating land acquisition policies. Acting as the front line contact for all internal and external enquiries, you will champion the Trust’s work, ensuring our services are well promoted and working with the digital team to keep the Land Trust and Woodoaks websites current, engaging and informative.

We are seeking a highly organised and systems-savvy Senior Administrator to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our programmes, systems, and records. This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys working closely with data, systems, and processes, and takes pride in maintaining accurate, well-structured records that help teams run efficiently. 

A significant part of the role involves working with databases, spreadsheets, and CRM systems, so confidence using Excel (including formulas and data management) is essential. You will be comfortable navigating multiple digital systems and able to quickly learn new platforms, while maintaining high standards of data accuracy and organisation. Experience working with CRMs such as ImpactED, Beacon, Salesforce, or Blackbaud would be advantageous. 

You will be confident working across Microsoft Office 365 beyond Outlook, using tools such as SharePoint, Teams channels, and collaborative data systems to manage information and keep records up to date. The role requires someone who is methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive in keeping systems organised and information accessible. 

This is a 6-month maternity cover position, expected to run from June through November, with the possibility of extension depending on organisational needs and circumstances. 

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of our administrative, data management, and operational processes. Joining a highly motivated and committed team of home-based colleagues who are passionate about improving the lives of young people through our specialist youth programmes, you will help ensure that the systems, records, and processes behind our work run efficiently and reliably. 

Your role will focus on maintaining and managing organisational systems and records, supporting programme delivery, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date data across our CRM and impact tracking platforms. You will sit within the operations team and coordinate key operational processes including volunteer and recruitment administration, liaising with external providers, and supporting the logistics and record-keeping of IT equipment and other programme resources. The role also includes general administration, coordination, and governance support to help keep the organisation running smoothly. 

You will be self-motivated and comfortable working remotely while staying closely connected with a collaborative team. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication will enable you to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

· Location: Hybrid role based in Didcot, with travel to schools, homes, and community venues as required.

· Liaise with schools, local authorities, and military welfare services to advocate for the needs of military young carers.
