Location: Kensington, London (minimum three days per week in the office)

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Development, you’ll take responsibility for developing and managing Opera Holland Park’s corporate partnerships programme. This includes identifying new sponsors and partners, securing support for productions and events, and deepening relationships with existing supporters. You’ll also manage hospitality and venue hire partnerships, working closely with colleagues across production, marketing, and senior leadership to deliver value and impact for every partner.

Key responsibilities

• Secure headline sponsorships and partnerships for productions, events, and community programmes.
• Identify, research, and approach potential corporate prospects aligned with our mission and values.
• Develop compelling proposals, sponsorship packages, and partnership collateral.
• Manage and steward existing corporate partners, ensuring the delivery of all benefits and recognition.
• Negotiate and manage venue hire and hospitality partnerships, working with production and marketing colleagues.
• Plan and deliver corporate events and activations, ensuring high-quality experiences for guests and partners.
• Maintain accurate financial and contact records via the Spektrix fundraising database.
• Work closely with the Board and Development team to identify and leverage new opportunities.

About the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre

The London LGBTQ+ Community Centre is an award-winning charity launched by a team of volunteers in 2017. In December 2021 we opened our first physical space in London’s Bankside.

Our mission is to provide London with a sober, intersectional, intergenerational, community centre and café where all LGBTQ+ people feel welcome and supported, can build connections, and flourish. Our vision is for a more connected, belonging and thriving LGBTQ+ community in London.

In 2024, the Centre was visited by over 13,500 people, we hosted 700 events joined by 9,500 participants. 

In 2027 we will expand to Chroma in partnership with The Trampery, broadening our impact and reach. 

Overall purpose of the role

To work alongside the CEO to meet our fundraising goals by:

• Focusing on growing corporate donor base
• Assisting with grant writing if/when needed

As the year evolves, the role’s focus might shift. We are gearing towards opening a second location at Chroma in Bankside Yards in early 2027, so this role will be key in guaranteeing we grow as planned.

Our biggest fundraising moments of the year are Pride, Christmas, an annual fundraising event (normally hosted in November) and LGBT+ History Month. We are looking into capitalising on these key calendar moments, while developing long-lasting relationships that support the Charity throughout the year.

Over the last five years we have increased the number of individuals and organisation supporting the charity from 800 to more than 3,500 a year. The charity is set to build on this success and aims to continue this growth, so that we can reach more patients and provide additional support at a time when it is more critical than ever for kidney patients.

The Corporate Partnership Manager will play a key role in this growth. Our Corporate Partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.

Primarily, you will be responsible for building engagement and driving new income via charity of the year partnerships, corporate partnerships, and employee fundraising. You will manage the Corporate Partnership Officer who is developing a growing portfolio of supporters across different sectors. You will also work closely with the Events Manager, Trust & Foundation Manager, Head of Fundraising and Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications as well as the wider Fundraising team to promote and support all opportunities to drive corporate income growth.

Alongside the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications who takes a special interest in the charity’s Corporate Partnerships, you will be tasked with planning, implementing, and delivering the activities, programmes and processes required to grow corporate income from c£2.3m in 2025 to even greater levels over the coming years.

You will do this by stewarding the significant number of existing relationships and partnerships we already hold and maximising any opportunities that exist via our current partnerships and relationships. A key part of this role will require you to develop new opportunities and secure significant income (5-and-6 figure partnerships) through proactive engagement to and through our supporters, beneficiaries, networks, and contacts.

The right candidate will have a proven record of generating strategic partnerships that result in 5-and 6-figure corporate income, building strong and rewarding relationships, with stewardships skills that generate long term support for the charity. About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Corporate Partnerships Team. Reporting into the Corporate Partnerships Manger, the post holder will work with the Corporate Partnerships Team to deliver the corporate fundraising strategy.

The post holder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate partnerships, stewarding supporters, organising and managing corporate events as well as supporting with content for corporate partner communications.

Key Responsibilities will include:

To assist the Corporate Partnerships Team in delivering against their financial and non-financial targets as specified within the corporate fundraising strategy.

Income generation.

• Support and attend third-party corporate events as well as wider charity events. 
• Keep up to date with fundraising trends.

Communication and stewardship

• Work with the Corporate Fundraising Manager and Marketing Team to develop a communication plan for corporate accounts. 
• Interact with corporate partners on social media, as well as creating content for platforms such as LinkedIn.
• Create stewardship/development plans for corporate partners. 
• Create and deliver presentations to raise awareness of the work of the Charity.
• Deliver tours of the hospital to supporters autonomously. 

Other Duties

• Be an outstanding advocate for Alder Hey Children’s Charity in line with the core values of the organisation. 
• To act as a spokesperson for the charity when required, including representing at external events as appropriate 
• Be an active and supportive member of the Alder Hey Children’s Charity team, contributing to the team’s development and working collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers. Attend and support events run by the fundraising teams where required.

Skills, Experience and Benefits:

• Proven success in corporate, major donor or partnerships fundraising (2+ years preferred) or proven transferable relationship management.
• Exceptional communication skills — confident presenting, pitching, and writing with impact.
• A creative, proactive mindset — always spotting new opportunities and turning ideas into action.
• Experience managing four to five-figure partnerships with skill and care.
• You will be enthusiastic about the power of data, utilising data capture on our CRM to move analytical and data driven decisions to make the most of each new opportunity
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A desire to work as part of the wider fundraising team to reach ambitious targets.
• The ability to balance strategy and delivery — building for the long-term while achieving immediate and daily results.
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region, working some weekend and evening hours to cover events and key partner’s meetings.
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising is desirable.

Salary circa £30,000 p.a. depending on experience.
