You will work at the heart of Mind within Chief of Staff office, providing expertise to enable the organisation to understand and manage the risk it faces, in order to deliver its strategy in line with legal and regulatory compliance frameworks, while meeting Mind's quality & governance standards. Your role will ensure that the Board of Trustees are supported and equipped to make informed, strategic decisions and that the organisation operates an effective approach to corporate risk management.
Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
You will have the opportunity to work across all teams at National Mind, critically engaging with information about how different teams are contributing to our annual business plan and our strategy. You will also work closely with Mind's Chair and Trustees, leading on governance and agenda-setting, board development and trustee recruitment and induction, helping to ensure our governance is sustainable, effective and efficient. You will lead Mind's approach to corporate risk management, implementing effective systems and processes to support this.
Candidates will have experience of facilitating good governance within a values driven environment, working with Corporate Risk frameworks and managing risk by supporting others across all levels of the organisation. With the ability to manage projects, with clearly defined milestones, outputs and outcomes, you'll effectively manage stakeholders and risks within agreed targets and timescales.

World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.
About World Child Cancer
Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.
World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.
Overview of the role
This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.
You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. We are looking for someone experienced in corporate and philanthropy fundraising, who is proactive, confident in engaging with high value funders, able to develop strong internal and external relationships, has strong verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative way of working and experience in developing new business.
You will join a small but ambitious and high performing team that contributes significantly to World Child Cancer’s annual income of c. £2m.

Educated to degree level or equivalent
A proven track record in corporate and major gift fundraising with evidence of successful solicitation of six figure gifts and multi-year gifts

Experience of successfully developing cultivation plans to engage new funders
Ability to research and identify potential new funders

We are looking for a positive people-person with business acumen and the ambition to help take ANT to our next level of impact, delivering on natural capital and private finance for the Lower Chew Landscape Recovery project and Avon Needs Trees’ woodland projects.
Job Purpose
Your legacy will be a tangible impact on slowing down climate change, helping nature recover and creating social impact by leading on landowner and stakeholder engagement for the Lower Chew Landscape Recovery project that will see thousands of acres of local land managed in harmony with nature. You will join a fast-growing organisation that started in 2019 with four volunteers and has grown to a staff team of thirteen (which will double over 2024), over 1,000 volunteers and ownership of 170 acres (soon to be 600 acres) of land that will grow woodlands of over 160,000 trees.
The project
Landscape Recovery is one of Defra’s three environmental land management schemes. Avon Needs Trees has been awarded development phase funding for Landscape Recovery in the Lower Chew. This is a unique opportunity to help co-design nature’s recovery and social impact at a landscape scale. The project will engage existing landowners and managers across over 867 hectares of land in the Lower Chew, an area where good quality but fragmented woodland provides a basis for woodland connectivity and large-scale woodland creation, as part of a mosaic of grassland and woodland habitat. This locally-cherished landscape of rolling farmland on the edge of Bristol is the strategic setting for delivering local environmental and social priorities. The Corporate Team at ARUK has just enjoyed a record-breaking year of fundraising by our corporate partners. We require a proactive and organised colleague to provide the team with vital administrative support.
The successful candidate will support our partnerships with companies such as Dyson, The Perfume Shop, Cadbury, and Slimming World while building excellent relationships with supporters from within those organisations. This role will also support our new business team with their approaches to prospective companies.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Team administrative support
· Provide general administrative support for all members of the team.
· Manage invites and room bookings for Corporate Team meetings.

· Work closely with the Central Fundraising Team to ensure a consistent stewardship journey across all audiences.
· Manage online giving pages and our CRM system to make sure corporate supporters are identified and recorded correctly, and their income potential is maximised.
· Monitor the CRM system to make sure that all information about our corporate fundraisers is recorded correctly.
· Filter enquiries from our corporate supporters whilst the Partnership Development Officers are on annual leave to ensure a timely and helpful response.
· Help support event delivery by sourcing volunteers, merchandise, and gifts in kind for events.

Job Title: Head of Employer Partnerships
Reports to: Deputy CEO (but the role will also work in close collaboration with both the CEO and the Director of Programmes).

Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic professional to take the lead role in engaging employers, corporate funders, and professional networks and securing funded partnerships with them. Establishing, negotiating, and managing new partnerships and further developing existing employer partnerships:
- Negotiating new funding partnerships with clients that are deliverable, cost-effective, and generate money in addition to the cost of managing the partnerships;
- Persistently and professionally following up with clients at different stages of interest, in order to move forward and hopefully convert these partnership discussions into signed contracts/ commitments – i.e. moving discussions along to ‘close the deal’;
- Building strong relationships through a stewardship programme to engage with partners in a variety of ways on a regular basis, in particular with existing partners that are not currently funding partners to transition them to a funded model;
- To work closely with the current Partnerships Manager to effectively handover all successful bids to the Partnership Manager to develop project plans and delivery timelines;

The Strategic Partnerships Fundraising Manager will play a key role in driving forward our business development ambitions. You will lead the prospecting and cultivation process right through to collaborating with experts across WAGGGS on programme/product design through to bid development for some of our largest, most exciting and complex corporate funding opportunities.
Your focus will be on developing new and scaling our current programmes and projects on topics such as climate change, menstrual hygiene, leadership, gender-based violence and STEM.
About the Team:
The team is comprised of New Business Experts with a full range of bid development skills from budget building, programme design and commercial expertise required to secure high value multiyear opportunities. Alongside side new business fundraisers you will also be working with our Senior Membership Organistaion Partner, who will support and negotiate funding opportunities at a country led level.
The Strategic Partnerships Team works closely with colleagues from across WAGGGS such as the Global Programmes, Core Mission, World Centres and Membership to deliver on our objectives. About You:
The successful candidate will have significant experience in devising strategies to generate income from corporate donors, ideally within the international fundraising space.
You will be adept at maintaining and building solid working relationships with senior stakeholders and corporate partners, especially in cross-cultural settings.
You will have a good track record of budget management and delivering agreed fundraising targets.
French, Spanish or Arabic language skills are desirable but not essential.
