Main Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Management:

• Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the Charity's objectives and resonate with our target audience.
• Conduct thorough research to understand audience demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key messages and stories.
• Develop creative concepts, visuals, and messaging.
• Oversee the production of marketing materials.
• Evaluate campaign performance and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation

Digital Marketing and Content Creation:

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, website, and digital advertising, to maximise reach and engagement.
• Design and execute email marketing and donor campaigns.
• Optimise website content and user experience.
• Implement digital advertising campaigns across platforms.
• Generate compelling stories, testimonials, and case studies.
• Develop multimedia content and write persuasive copy for marketing materials, fundraising appeals, event promotions, and donor communications.

Brand Management, Data Analysis, and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
• Monitor brand mentions and sentiment online.
• Conduct periodic brand audits.
• Champion the Charity's brand values and mission.
• Set up tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
• Analyse data to assess campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards summarising campaign results, trends, and insights for internal stakeholders.

About the Role

An experienced Relationship Builder, you’ll represent the Charity with our national partners and licensees, ensuring we build strong and lasting relationships. You will work collaboratively across Help for Heroes, building relationships to take a holistic approach to relationship management, maximising all opportunities. You will develop and fulfil robust stewardship plans, identifying opportunities for growth, stewarding partners to increased and continued support of our work. You will also take a proactive approach to finding new business opportunities, developing creative propositions and bringing in additional income.

About the Team

A key member of the Corporate Partnerships team, which is a part of the High Value Partnership team, Commercial Directorate. You will be joining the team at an exciting time for growth and this role will play an integral part in our strategy building on our successful existing corporate partnerships. The Partnerships team are based across the UK, working remotely but with regular opportunities for face to face meetings with the team, partners and beneficiaries. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting role to lead on Safe Ground's programme delivery, including content creation and producing, with a strategic direction!

SIG Safe Ground is an award-winning charity which delivers high-quality, group work interventions to people in prison and community settings. 

Our arts-based therapeutic group work focuses on relationships and identity, particularly in reclaiming and reframing imposed identities while offering access to new perspectives, creating opportunities for discussion and debate, and inviting participants to take risks, experiencing themselves and each other in new ways.

You will report to the Head of Criminal Justice Services and line manage the programmes coordinator, as well as work closely with our services based within HMP Lowdham Grange and HMP Altcourse. You will lead on the development of new creative work, identifying gaps and opportunities, working alongside various teams to open new business opportunities to secure funding, and facilitate the programmes we deliver, mainly in prisons and community settings. We are looking for someone to bring a new creative outlook, able to be agile and think of new ways to promote Safe Ground, and develop our resources, this could include delivering theatre productions, films, and podcasts. 

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9 - 5 although you may need to work outside these hours as required. The role will be hybrid, working from home, our central office in Islington, and able to visit various sites across London, Nottingham, Liverpool, and additional locations as required. 

Please note: This role will include the need to undertake additional prison vetting as part of the onboarding process as occasional service delivery in prisons forms part of this position.

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PROGRAMME DELIVERY

• Manage a network of delivery sites and ensure contractual compliance, in locations which include but is not limited to prisons and community settings.
• Oversee the development of additional creative content including but not limited to theatre productions, short films, events, and other media products.
• Co-facilitate group work programmes, working in partnership with relevant colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with teams to monitor and gain feedback, evaluate, and develop programmes to ensure they are fit for purpose and drive engagement. Ensure revisions are implemented and coordinated organisation wide.

CREATIVE LEAD

• Create and deliver engaging high-quality programmes which support rehabilitation, reintegration, and reablement for participants in various stages of their personal journey which can be used as the core curriculum for various delivery teams.
• Design and deliver high quality training and quality assurance support to management and delivery teams across the SIG network.
• Support with the creation and dissemination of social media content and other content to enhance SIG Safe Ground’s reputation and brand.

ORGANISATIONAL GROWTH

• Provide strategic operational leadership and direction for Safe Ground, support with the continuation of finding new and existing opportunities working alongside various leadership teams.
• Lead on new contracts, supporting teams to ensure new contracts are implemented to a high standard following correct processes and policy.
• Coordinate aspects of promotion, recruitment, and evaluation of Safe Ground’s programmes.
• Build and maintain a positive reputation for SIG and Safe Ground, represent the group at wider meetings which could include networking meetings, events, delivering various presentations, new business meetings, and other relevant places.

LINE MANAGEMENT

• Provide high quality support, leadership, and line management to staff, offering guidance, support, and advice to the team to support them to perform to the best of their abilities.
• Provide leadership to employees throughout the employee life cycle. This includes but is not limited to; Recruitment, onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, support and supervision, employee relations, performance, learning and development, staff wellbeing and support, grievances, sickness, disciplinaries, retention and other areas which fall within the employee lifecycle.
• Proactively embed a culture of learning, development, reflection, and evaluation in a psychologically informed environment.

Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position. 

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Understanding and/or experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours
• Previous experience in contract management and reporting of projects or programmes
• Previous experience in facilitation of programmes and/or training for various groups
• Previous experience in people management and development
• IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software
• Ability to create, develop, and deliver new programmes and/or creative content in various settings such as prisons, communities, and wider criminal justice settings
• Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to travel to various services and work within the prison setting

What we would like, but not essential:

• Relevant professional qualification in applied theatre, drama, or a field related to programme delivery or health and social care in criminal justice system
• Previous experience in developing, producing, and/or performing professional productions for example film, television, or theatre productions
• Previous experience with commissioners, supporting or contributing to research and evaluation projects
• Previous experience in supporting winning new contracts for example in bid writing or fundraising activities
• Financial Management experience: Budget setting, analysis, and cost reduction

About Creative Learning:

The Welsh Government and Arts Council of Wales are collaborating on a major project to enhance the quality of creative learning in Wales’ schools.  An ambitious programme of activity has been set out in Creative Learning through the arts – an action plan for Wales.

The Plan set out a joint implementation strategy that has enabled the Arts Council and Welsh Government to work together to implement the recommendations contained in the Arts in Education review report (Smith 2013).  The plan has been successfully delivered over the 8 years from 2015 – 2023 and the Welsh Government has agreed to continue to work in partnership with the Arts Council of Wales until 2025.

About Project Leads:

There are 6 Project Leads (including this vacancy) and between them they cover the range of duties described in the job description. They support the Programme Manager in the development of policy and strategy in relation to the Creative Learning through the Arts programme, and its successful delivery. About you:

You will have a passion for the arts and education, as well as the vision to manage and implement initiatives that advance the Arts and Creative Learning plan. You will need to be able to communicate well with colleagues and stakeholders and work in partnership with Education, Arts and/or creative learning. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Finance Manager to lead and manage our busy Finance Teams. You will have relevant finance and business experience, and you will directly manage the Accounts Payable and Income Collection teams, while contributing to process improvements within the Accounts Receivable (Billing) function.

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to lead on Media Trust’s 2024 calendar of fundraising and industry-facing events, including our upcoming 30th Birthday Fundraising Gala and support with other programme-related events.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable expertise in delivering successful fundraising and other events, working across multiple projects, and finding new and innovative ways to engage corporate supporters in fundraising events and campaigns. 

You will be part of the Volunteering & Events Management team and will manage a range of in person and virtual events, from fundraising events to corporate partner cultivation drinks, industry roundtables and large-scale volunteering initiatives. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver impactful high-quality events and ensure that all our events deliver against set targets.

This role would suit someone with a good understanding and experience of the UK charity sector and a passion for equalities and inclusion. We are looking for a strong candidate to take Media Trust’s event activity and fundraising to the next level to enable us to support more charities and underrepresented talent and engage more media and creative industry professionals in our work. 

Key responsibilities  

Events Management 

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Media Trust events, campaigns and projects of varying size, format and complexity, both in person and virtually

• Lead on the development and running of Media Trust’s 30th Birthday celebratory events, including but not limited to our Fundraising Gala, ensuring the fundraising target is hit or exceeded 

• Support the Programmes team and Media Trust Films team on delivery of events when necessary, including, but not limited to, Charity Challenge Days and Film Screenings 

• Provide a high standard of support to key stakeholders throughout the planning, execution and evaluation of each event 

• Develop and implement consistent processes, procedures and documentation for all events across Media Trust, including event timelines, agendas, speaker and staff briefs 

• Develop fundraising and sponsorship proposals to fund core events across Media Trust  

• Manage event budgets ensuring they are run cost effectively

• Maximise the profitability (where appropriate), sustainability and quality of all events 

• Act as first point of contact for stakeholders including corporate partners, venues, caterers, speakers, attendees, Media Trust staff and Trustees 

• Research and suggest relevant key speakers and work with all Media Trust teams to finalise speakers for events

• Work closely with the Marketing team to develop communications to promote events and drive engagement 

• Monitor KPIs and evaluate the impact of events, providing reports and feedback summaries as required 

• Ensure all Media Trust events and fundraising activities are logged effectively and Media Trust’s CRM is kept up-to-date 

Corporate Partner Activity 

• Liaise with our Corporate Partners and lead on bespoke events organised as part of their partnership with Media Trust

• Work closely with the Partnerships team to develop and deliver volunteer opportunities, recruiting, briefing and training volunteers including presentations and pitches  

• Work with other members of the Volunteering & Events Management team to support with other volunteering activity including development of innovative events and opportunities

Additional Responsibilities  

• Continual research and ideation, monitoring industry trends for new and exciting fundraising and profile-raising opportunities and partnership collaborations

• Provide additional support to the Partnerships team as required

What we are looking for in you 

Essential 

• Experience of end-to-end event management, including the planning of fundraising events, and delivering high-impact results in a professional or charitable organisation

• Experience of organising both online and in person events

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage and prioritise across multiple events, work with multiple teams and meet deadlines 

• Experience of working with Corporate Partners and managing stakeholder relationships at both a strategic and project level 

• Outstanding communication skills and ability to adapt tone and approach for different stakeholders 

• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage external stakeholders and suppliers, paid and unpaid, ensuring high quality of work and events run smoothly

• Experience of data management and CRM systems with ability to support, inform and report on fundraising and other event activity 

• A passion for events and innovative approaches to engaging audiences 

Desirable 

• Experience of creating and developing proposals for event sponsorship and pitching to corporate partners and other stakeholders

• Experience of designing and managing event budgets

• Good understanding of the charity sector, including charity, GDPR and data protection laws 

• Understanding of the media, comms and creative sectors in the UK

As a partnership of the diverse voluntary, community and social enterprise sector across north east London and the Integrated Care Board we collaborate to ensure that the design and delivery of health and care services works for residents across north east London. We are now seeking a motivated and creative individual to lead the next steps in the development of the North East London Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector Collaborative (the VCSE Collaborative) as part of the sub-regional Integrated Care System.

The position will be hosted by Tower Hamlets CVS although the post holder will be accountable to the VCSE Collaborative Leadership Group and will be expected to work equitably across the north east London sub-region.

Today, 12 children and young people will be diagnosed with cancer. We’ll stop at nothing to make sure they get the right care and support at the right time.

When a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer, their whole world (and their family’s) can feel like it’s falling apart. Their anxieties are deep. Their education, mental health and social lives suffer. Their futures feel very uncertain. They need tailored psychosocial support and they need to know that their voices and unique needs are being heard and understood.

We’re there to make sure that happens.
