About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join SHP’s fundraising team and play a key role in how we connect with and grow our community of supporters. As Supporter Engagement Officer, you will help build meaningful, long-term relationships with people who are passionate about ending homelessness in London, using digital fundraising and challenge events to bring that connection to life. From someone making their first donation to those who continue to give and champion our work, you will shape supporter journeys that feel personal, engaging and impactful.

You’ll take ownership of delivering creative, insight-led campaigns across the year, with a particular focus on challenge events and our annual Christmas appeal. Alongside this, you’ll use digital tools and data to understand what resonates with supporters, continuously improving how we communicate, grow income and strengthen loyalty. The role also offers the chance to get involved in wider projects, from developing new audiences to helping gather authentic content that reflects the real impact of our services, giving supporters a genuine connection to the change they are part of.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and ambitious team that isn’t afraid to do things differently. • Experience delivering supporter engagement or fundraising activity, ideally across digital channels and challenge events, with a focus on building lasting relationships
• Confident using, or keen to learn, digital fundraising tools such as FundraiseUp, Mailchimp, JustGiving, Let’s Do This, Shopify or WordPress
• Able to use insight and data to shape campaigns, improve supporter journeys and increase engagement, income and retention

The role

As Associate Director of Data and Digital Transformation, you will shape a vision for Digital, Data and Technology as strategic enablers of impact. You’ll work with teams across the charity to shape sustainable services with and for young people with cancer, increase our audience reach, drive sustainable income generation, and demonstrate our impact. You’ll shine a light on the value of data, build collective confidence, and connect technology potential to measurable outcomes. As our Senior Digital Marketing Officer you will be responsible for boosting our income through online engagement, marketing and stewardship. The role includes responsibility for delivering paid advertising across various platforms (currently META, PPC, Reddit and TikTok) driving income through direct gifts, challenge event participation and other income generation activities.

Writing, designing and delivering our supporter emails, and overall supporter journeys, is also a key component of the role, boosting digital engagement with a view to driving additional income over time.

When it comes to this work, you'll be our lead for this area internally but you'll also have the support of our digital agency, who we maintain a close working relationship with, the wider fundraising team and the organisation as a whole. You will also benefit from several years of testing, insight gathering and proven results to build upon.

On a day-to-day basis, you will help NEON’s partners develop effective content and digital comms strategy - and offer support and training in both digital skills and ways to stay safe online. You’ll be across emerging trends, using platforms effectively and aware of how to make use of digital to empower our base and persuade people to our causes. You will be across what’s happening online and in the news - and be able to quickly jump on opportunities to tell a compelling alternative story.

Role Overview
This six-week temporary role involves managing digital assets and content to support strategic objectives, ensuring impactful communication, digital engagement, and accessibility. The role requires an immediate start and is fully remote for the duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain website content, resources, and digital assets, ensuring they are current and engaging.
• Build and optimise web pages, including copywriting for updates and ongoing content growth.
• Produce and analyse monthly KPIs for website performance.
• Develop and implement a digital content plan, enhancing Calls to Action (CTAs).
• Advise on digital engagement strategies tailored for target audiences.
• Collaborate on co-production initiatives, contributing to digital project development.

International Digital Marketing Coordinator (French Speaking)

Position Objective

To support digital campaigning and email marketing across PETA international entities, with a particular focus on PETA France. This role is ideal for a fluent French speaker with hands-on digital marketing experience and a strong interest in animal liberation campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

• Support PETA France email marketing for the programmes team, including translating, building, adapting, and scheduling campaigns
• Update web content across PETA France, PETA Australia, and PETA Netherlands to ensure accuracy, consistency, and best practice
• Support web content projects that span PETA France, PETA UK, PETA Australia, and PETA Netherlands, working collaboratively to ensure consistency and localisation
• Adapt blog content from PETA UK and PETA US for publication on PETA France platforms
• Upload, edit, and maintain content using WordPress or similar CMS tools
• Coordinate translations and localisation of videos and digital assets for French, UK, Australian, and Dutch audiences
• Ensure French-translated content is accurate, compelling, and aligned with campaign objectives and tone of voice

Qualifications

Acting as a flexible and agile digital campaigning expert, you will design, deliver and optimise multi-channel engagement strategies and supporter journeys that shift online narratives, recruit and grow our supporter base, and convert online engagement into real world action to help Greenpeace win campaigns.

Greenpeace is an international network of non profit campaigning organisations operating in over 55 countries. Our independence and global reach enable us to stand for positive change through action in order to defend nature and promote peace. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions.

You’ll translate campaign and communication objectives into digital engagement plans, which you will then deliver with support from content creators. In doing so, you’ll foster a culture of continuous testing and optimisation, using data, insights and technical understanding to identify opportunities for strategic innovation.

 In a typical week you could:

• Draft a multi-channel digital engagement plan and supporter journey for an upcoming campaign
• Write, build and send supporter emails and petition to Greenpeace's supporter database
• Brief a social media content creator on the campaign and help brainstorm ideas for content
• Respond rapidly to a media story, crafting and deploying timely email communications that mobilise supporters to take action.

Location: Islington, London. Our hybrid working model enables us to enjoy the benefits of both office based and remote working.
