This is a new role that we have created to provide leadership to our supported housing (including YP OFSTED regulated housing) services. As our lead professional for housing and member of the Extended Executive Leadership Team, this role will be responsible for developing a housing vision and strategy aligned to the wider organisational strategy. This will ensure quality across all our housing sites and the overall scope of service delivery aligns and exceeds the expectations of our internal and external stakeholders.

With planned growth to 1000 units in the next two years plus preparing to be a Large Registered Provider this role will ensure processes, structures, systems and resourcing meet regulatory requirements and are consistently and innovatively delivering best value, sustainability and positive impact.

STRUCTURE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As Deputy Director, Digital Fundraising you will be based in the London office or work remotely and will be part of the Mass Markets Global Support Team. The Deputy Director will play a pivotal role in advancing IRC’s global digital fundraising efforts by providing consultation and hands-on support across paid media, creative development, analytics, and process improvement. Serving as a strategic adviser to country teams, they will guide campaign planning, platform strategy, and performance measurement while handling key relationships with digital agencies and platform partners. They will also support creative process refinement, champion digital ads testing and optimisation, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards. Through thorough analysis and cross-functional collaboration, the role will help refine attribution models, enhance reporting infrastructure, and drive continuous improvement across digital programs. Additionally, the Deputy Director will lead special projects to streamline operations and foster knowledge sharing across the global digital network.

SCOPE AND AUTHORITY 

Authority:

In this role you will provide consultation and guidance on spending decisions about how best to utilise IRC budget on paid digital platforms to maximise income, and responsibility for suggesting, planning and delivering new and engaging ways to introduce prospects to the IRC brand. 

Responsibility for Resources: 

• Oversee Digital donor acquisition market support and cross market pilots - assessing the market needs and requirements and working with HQ functions to support local market fundraising goals and objectives
• Oversee and assess potential digital acquisition external  opportunities available to IRC and advise fundraising markets on implementation.
• Coordination and oversee the work of any and all agencies, freelancers and external consultants required to deliver on the agreed strategic plan.
• Oversee and coordinate cross market testing and channel optimisation activity.

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS 

• External Relations colleagues globally, including the USA, UK, Sweden, Korea and more.
• Partner teams across Digital Engagement, MarTech, Global Donations Operations, Creative Studio, Analytics and other key support functions.
• Collaborate with the Director of Digital Transformation & AI Enablement to prepare digital programs for AI integration and future-readiness.
• Liaise with marketing agencies, partners and freelancers as needed. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1) Digital Media Consultation & Support— 40%

• Act as subject-matter guide and adviser on paid platforms (Meta, Google, programmatic and others) for digital country teams.
• Guide efforts to translate digital strategy into campaign and audience recommendations, investment levels and bidding strategies, and measurement approaches.
• Work with internal MarTech colleagues and external digital media agencies to ensure operational readiness - to include pixel/tagging, audiences, budgets, trafficking, and more.
• Aid in the development and coordination of digital agency RFPs, such as drafting scopes of work, gathering team inputs, and contributing to the evaluation and selection process.
• Liaise with digital media consultants and agencies as needed to support digital teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for global digital consultants, agencies, and platform representatives (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok), managing relationships to ensure timely access to trends, product updates, and optimisation opportunities.
• Provide hands-on support to digital teams by troubleshooting issues, testing roadmap components, and resolving critical blockers to help ensure seamless campaign execution.
• Provide mentorship on data privacy standards and compliance to ensure digital media activities align with regulatory requirements and standard methodologies.

2) Creative Support for Digital Campaigns — 25%

• Support the management of digital creative production workflows and SOPs to help ensure smooth collaboration across fundraising, creative, and content teams.
• Coordinate across Creative & Content and local country teams to reduce lead times and ensure formats meet platform requirements and accessibility/GDPR standards.
• Support efforts to implement creative testing programs like A/B and dynamic creative, and translate results into scalable standard methodologies.

3) Digital Analytics & Optimisation — 25%

• Lead regular review cadences to analyse digital media performance, surface optimisation opportunities and share cross-market insights.
• Contribute to refining digital attribution models and building clarity around full-funnel performance to help inform and justify ongoing investment in upper-funnel activities.
• Define and maintain core reporting (dashboarding, conversion funnels, LTV/CPA analysis) for digital media and ensure data integrity with MarTech/analytics partners.
• Partner with experimentation and CRO leads to convert insights into prioritised tests and iterate on landing pages and donation flows.
• Lead time-boxed projects to streamline processes underpinning digital fundraising (e.g., automated reporting, audience governance, creative development playbooks).
• Support the documentation of key processes that underpin digital programs, helping facilitate change management and smooth handover to long-term owners.

4) Special Projects & Process Improvement — 10%

Operations Director
Oasis Community Partnerships (Youth and Community)

Permanent, full-time post, 40 hours per week, inclusive of breaks 

Starting salary: £51,960 per annum (plus London Weighting for London based staff)

 At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for an Operations Director to join the Oasis Youth and Community national leadership team supporting local Oasis community charities across the country.

With accountability to the CEO the Operations Director will be responsible for three key areas of work:

1. Lead key elements of policy and systems ensuring the Youth and Community function remains safe and compliant, and that local leaders and other key staff are effectively supported (including line management of People Services).
2. Oversee the effective governance oversight for all local charities through a cycle of professional guidance and monitoring.
3. Lead the national framework for monitoring and evaluation across activities.

As we grow beyond 200 in attendance and embark on a major facility renovation at our Bathgate site, we are seeking a high-capacity Operations Director to strengthen our operational foundation. This part-time role functions as a non-pastoral “chief operating officer” for the church, translating vision into action through people, resources, and systems. In this hands-on position, you will serve as the operational glue of the church – ensuring administrative systems run seamlessly, information flows to the right people, and nothing falls through the cracks – so that our pastors are freed to focus on preaching, discipleship, and care. Key Responsibilities

• Senior Pastor Support & Workload Protection: A core mandate of this role is protecting the Senior Pastor’s time. Proactively intercept and reassign operational tasks before they land on the Senior Pastor’s desk, implementing clear intake/triage processes and calendar guardrails from day one so his time is freed for preaching, visionary leadership, and leadership development.
• Governance, Compliance & Policy: Serve as a key liaison to the Board of Trustees, providing regular operational and financial reports. Ensure the church operates in full compliance with charity law and all regulatory requirements (safeguarding/PVG, health & safety, GDPR, etc.). Own the policy lifecycle – keeping policies up to date, maintaining a live risk register, and scheduling regular policy reviews and staff training.
• Finance & Stewardship: Lead the church’s financial administration and controls – driving the budgeting process, managing expenditures/approvals, and maintaining cash-flow oversight. Work closely with the Treasurer to produce timely financial reports for the Senior Pastor and trustees. Ensure audit readiness and implement any audit recommendations, exercising cost-effective stewardship of contracts and resources.
• Sundays & Events Logistics: Oversee operational support for Sunday services and occasional special events to ensure they run smoothly (covering venue setup, tech/AV, volunteer rotas, etc.). Primarily coordinate Sunday logistics through preparation and team leadership during the week – this role does not require being on-site every Sunday (Sunday on-site involvement is only occasional, as needed for major events or troubleshooting).
• Facilities & Projects: Manage the church’s facilities to ensure our buildings and venues are safe, ready, and welcoming each week. Lead facilities projects and capital works – including serving as the point person for the Bathgate site renovation – by coordinating contractors/architects and minimising disruption to church life.
• HR Oversight & People Systems: Oversee the HR function through the HR Manager to ensure that recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development are carried out effectively and in line with employment law and best practice. Keep the staff handbook and HR policies current (e.g. employment legislation, safeguarding/PVG, GDPR), maintain an annual HR calendar for policy updates and trainings, and report regularly to trustees on HR matters.
• Operational Systems & Technology: Continuously improve and oversee the church’s administrative systems and technology. Implement best-practice workflows, databases, and communication tools to enhance efficiency. Lead the adoption and effective use of digital platforms (including church management software like ChurchSuite, project management apps, etc.) so that information flows reliably, tasks are tracked, and nothing falls through the cracks. Act as a liaison to our communications and tech teams to ensure technology supports ministry needs (while not being the content creator).
• Team Leadership: Lead, line-manage, and develop the church’s admin and operations team (staff and key volunteers). This includes direct oversight of team members such as the HR Manager, Church Administrator, Bookkeeper, Building Manager, and Health & Safety Officer. Provide regular one-to-one meetings, feedback and performance reviews, setting clear objectives and offering coaching. Foster a collaborative, servant-hearted team culture where people are supported yet held accountable, and ensure strong communication across all ministries.

We are looking for someone who:

Terms: This position is part-time (30 hours per week, 4 days) based in Bathgate, with involvement at our Edinburgh site as needed. Salary is £33,000–£36,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), pro-rated to 4 days (approximately £26,600–£28,800 actual). The start date is 24 November 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. Role Overview

upReach is seeking to hire an Organisational Initiatives and Governance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with upReach’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on strategic projects, internal communication, governance, and other internal and external initiatives.

The role will provide direct support to the SLT, building their capacity and enabling the charity to continue to grow and increase its impact. They will support the collection of key data for strategic decision making and take responsibility for regular and accurate reporting to our Boards, whilst also leading on the planning and delivery of several key projects. Projects they work on will include exploring how to best expand our work in Scotland and coordinating the cohesive delivery of work that falls under the umbrella of our ‘Double Benefit’ approach.

Whilst Governance and the support provided to the SLT will remain consistent in this role, organisational initiatives will change over time, depending on where it is agreed with the SLT that the ROI is greatest and can best achieve upReach’s overarching mission.

Core Responsibilities

The Organisational Initiatives and Governance Manager will report to the Director of People and Strategy and work on initiatives and projects that the SLT believe will help us to best achieve our mission. In addition to this, the Organisational Initiatives and Governance Manager will also work closely with the SLT to provide governance and operational support. This will include coordinating with Trustees to organise the yearly calendar of governance events and preparing papers for Trustees, Advisory Board and Services meetings, including the Annual Report. 

This role will require influencing and collaboration in order to deliver upReach’s mission through a range of stakeholders across the team.

Core responsibilities will include: 

1) Strategic Projects & Organisational Initiatives

• Be the operational driver of organisational initiatives, as agreed on by SLT, that have an impact on the success of upReach’s mission and our impact on Associates across the country. 

  • Projects may be outward facing or operational in scope, depending on what is deemed to be of most importance at the time. They may also be at different stages in their life cycle, and as such, the role may require initial exploration phases, creation of implementation plans and the coordination of different teams to complete and assess success, as required by the specific initiative.

• Attending meetings and following up with key stakeholders to ensure the completion of relevant projects to a high standard.

• Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to gather and report key information, along with recommendations, to the SLT or other senior managers.

2) Governance & Leadership Support

• Preparing papers and required documents for Trustees, Advisory Board and Services meetings, including the yearly Annual Report. 

• This may also include supporting internal communications and calendar management for the SLT (for example, organising the yearly governance calendar). 

3) National Development & Expansion

• Be the champion for upReach’s national development strategy, ensuring there is understanding and buy-in across the team regarding the importance of upReach’s growth outside of London with respect to social mobility coldspots and existing regional presence and tracking OKRs related to this.

• Drive plans regarding how best upReach can expand its work in Scotland. Having recently successfully registered as a Scottish charity we are exploring what expansion could and should look like, and this role will work on the practicalities regarding how upReach can sustainably support more students in Scotland. Pending approval of plans from the SLT and Board, the role would lead on enacting the agreed upon approach.

  • Liaison with relevant departments to collaborate on prospect fundraising, university and employer partnerships, as well as student attraction and onboarding activities, will be required as part of this initiative. 

4) Double Benefit Approach

• Have oversight of a cohesive, deliberate programme of Double Benefit effective practice at upReach, working across teams to do so. This will include:

  • Supporting the Events team in the creation of the agenda and delivery of the annual Championing Change event in collaboration with Bank of America, bringing together employers across industries to promote inclusion and social mobility.

  • Support work on policy being led by the Marketing and Communications Team to ensure it is cohesive with our wider Double Benefit approach.

  • Coordinating with the Partnerships team regarding use of our Employer Engagement Toolkit and any bespoke consultancy or training requested. 

This role will also provide line management for 1-2 members of our Future Charity Leaders Programme one day per week, as they work on a six month ‘rotation’ in the areas described above.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
BBC Children in Need occupies a cherished place in the hearts of the British public and is the UK’s largest independent funder across the children’s sector. We hold a significant voice on children’s issues and play a powerful role in improving the lives of children and young people.

This role is central to that mission. You will be primarily responsible for the development and successful delivery of the ‘We Move FWD’ Fund—a £10 million, 10-year commitment to address systemic racism and issues faced by Black children and young people. To date, over £4 million has been awarded to 66 projects across the UK, with grantmaking decisions led by young Black advisors.

Under the co-leadership of Alex Holmes and Mercy Shibemba, the Fund has expanded to include narrative shifts, storytelling, and celebrating Black joy and imagination. As interim Co-Director (covering parental leave), you will build on this foundational work and lead the strategic management of an additional programme focused on polarisation and division. You will ensure both programmes are aligned with BBC Children in Need’s charitable ambition and strategy, and that their operational delivery drives meaningful impact.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Location: Primarily remote with occasional working in London

Working Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week); compressed or part-time would be considered; flexible working fully supported; occasional evening work may be required

Contract Type: Fixed-term, 2 years

Salary: £35,000 per annum FTE depending on experience, plus benefits including 7% employer contribution to Group Pension Scheme

Holiday: 27 days (pro rata) plus Bank Holidays and 1 privilege day

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Support

• Act as liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders, drafting communications and ensuring clear, timely information flow; supporting scheduling of meetings and tracking of actions and, with support from the CRM Manager, ensuring key contacts and relationship data are accurately and securely maintained on the organisation’s central database.
• Coordinate meetings and agendas with the CEO, Director of Finance and Operations, Chair of the Board, and Board sub-committees; manage papers and follow-up actions.
• Organise external meetings, including venue liaison, room bookings, and travel arrangements.
• Provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team (SMT), including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
• Coordinate SMT and Programme Board meetings including compilation and circulation of agendas and supporting documents.
• Prepare regular status updates on project progress; maintain a record of agreed actions from meetings and liaise with team members to gather updates and ensure timely completion.
• Act as a point of contact between the Senior Management Team and working groups focused on Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Well-being.

Board Support & Impact Reporting

• Support board-level processes by coordinating meeting logistics; prepare, compile and circulate materials including agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations;.
• Maintain accurate records of meetings including tracking and reporting on Board decisions and action items, ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
• Assist in developing and maintaining risk management and impact reporting frameworks and tools for the Trustee Board.
• Collect, analyse, and report on data related to AVUK’s strategic programme impact and outcomes.

Governance and Additional EA Support Duties

• Support the Director of Finance and Operations and Operations Manager to ensure AVUK’s legal obligations regarding governance, record-keeping and reporting requirements are maintained.
• Oversee office management and liaise with landlords at AVUK centres in London, Bicester, and flexible workspaces in Glasgow and Leeds.
• Manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO or Senior Management Team, including planning and execution.

These responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be reviewed, in consultation with the post-holder, from time-to-time and amended in light of the changing needs of the charity and experience and development of the post-holder.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

• Proven experience as an Executive Assistant in a similar role, or in direct organisational management.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrable discretion and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

 Desirable:

• Familiarity with governance structures and impact reporting frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in project management and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms, including data logging, relationship mapping, and report generation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Planner) to support effective information sharing and action tracking across teams.

You will play a pivotal role supporting the Charity in several different ways. Working with the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure the smooth running of the organisation, providing administrative support to the Director of Operations and the Chief Executive. As a self-starter you will manage a range of tasks such as diary management, meeting minutes, assisting with event administration and HR administration. No two days will be the same!

You will be the point of contact for our HR, recruitment and training systems, ensuring consistency and assurance across the organisation. You will support HR administration such as supporting recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding of colleagues as well as taking minutes for Board meetings, so you will need to be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

As a team player, you will provide comprehensive, confidential and sensitive people-orientated administration support, developing a deep understanding of our organisation, our work and build strong, effective working relationships with colleagues.

Remote working at home can be challenging for some and for others, it works incredibly well. You will need to be able to work on your own, use your own initiative and ensure you are proactive in maintain good levels of communication and contact with your colleagues to ensure we deliver the best service possible to people with ME.
