Role Requirements
As the House Coordinator, you will have direct contact with children and their families, often during challenging times. This role therefore requires a level of empathy and the ability to communicate effectively in emotionally charged situations, which is not typically expected of other administrative roles within the organisation.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. We are seeking an inspiring, strategic and collaborative leader to shape and deliver WCRF’s Health Information and Support strategy across three core audiences: the general public, health professionals and cancer survivors. The team turns WCRF’s scientific evidence on cancer prevention and survival into practical, accessible information, training and support based on our Cancer Prevention Recommendations. The postholder will lead and develop the team, ensuring its work is innovative, evidence-based, high quality and demonstrably effective.
Working across Science, Policy, Fundraising, Communications and Engagement, you will create new ways to share our health information, improve existing resources and services, and build impactful partnerships. You will ensure that public and patient insight shapes our work from cancer prevention to survivorship, strengthen programmes for health professionals and make effective use of digital channels. Responsibilities include contributing to our Medical Education programme, participating in working and steering groups and speaking at national conferences, networking at events, engaging corporate audiences and acting as a spokesperson in broadcast and print media. Ultimately, you will help establish WCRF as the go-to source of information and support on the links between cancer, nutrition and lifestyle.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of implementing strategy, developing business and operational plans, and leading high-performing teams.
You will bring substantial experience in areas such as health information or education, working with healthcare professionals, UK health policy, health science or research, or marketing health information and services. It’s a role that combines direct work with dads and the practical coordination behind the scenes to keep the service running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
Building on the strong foundations of our current Dad Matters programme, you will work collaboratively with our existing Co-ordinator, with a focus on:
- Planning and delivering weekly peer support sessions for dads
- Supporting the development and delivering Dad’s antenatal sessions with local NHS services
- Recruiting, coordinating and supporting volunteers to contribute to the programme
- Helping dads develop their understanding of building strong parent-infant relationships
- Raising awareness of fathers’ mental health and suicide prevention, especially in the perinatal period
- Supporting the development of a Dad Matters volunteer programme
You’ll be working closely with an experienced colleague, sharing delivery while also taking a lead on planning, organisation, communication and the co-ordination of groups and activities.
This role would be ideal for somebody with experience of working with families or parents, and of planning and running activities, with a genuine passion for supporting fathers to build strong, positive relationships with their babies, look after their mental health and feel more confident in their role. You will be able to engage fathers from a wide range of backgrounds, while also bringing strong organisational, communication and coordination skills to support the delivery of the programme.

Job Description
To provide effective teaching, learning and assessment on a specific site for a College for 14-19 year olds, delivering a safe and secure education provision for ESOL students with complex needs and behaviours. To be the driver in behaviour management and student support for complex and vulnerable students. Teaching and learning:
- Teach ESOL students, from pre-entry level to Level 2.
- Teach Functional Skills Entry level Maths.

Role Summary
The main function of the Careers Coordinator (Work Experience) role is to develop, support and deliver Into Film’s Screen Careers Work Experience programmes. Screen Careers covers film, TV, animation, VFX and games. You will work closely with existing members of our team, including our Employment and Skills Project Manager, who oversees the programme, our Employment and Skills Project Assistant, who supports programme administration and our Senior Programme Manager, who manages and oversees all our school based programmes.
About the Role
You will be responsible for workshop delivery as part of the Employment & Skills Programme which take place during:
· September to October (approximately 4-5 weeks)
· April to May (approximately 4-5 weeks)
During these periods, you will deliver workshops 2-days per week and join young people on 1-day work insight sessions at local businesses. Between delivery periods, you will refresh workshop content, support programme evaluation and reporting and work alongside our Senior Programme Manager attending Career Mentoring sessions in secondary schools and local businesses to gather impact data and case studies.
Key Responsibilities
Employment & Skills Programme
· Plan and deliver engaging employability skills workshops for young people 16-25 who are NEET.
· Adapt workshop content for different groups and learning needs.
· Review and update workshop materials to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
· Support young people to build confidence, employability skills and positive next steps.
Career Mentoring Programme Support
· Attend selected Career Mentoring workshops in schools and workplaces.
· Observe sessions and collect evaluation data from students, volunteers and partners.
· Support the gathering of evidence demonstrating programme impact.
Impact & Evaluation
· Collect participant feedback, outcome data and case studies.
· Produce impact reports for funders and business partners.
Essential Skills & Experience
· Experience planning and delivering workshops, training or group sessions.
· Experience working directly with young people aged 16-25.
· Experience supporting young people who are NEET or facing barriers to education, employment or training.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
· Experience collecting and reporting on programme outcomes, feedback or impact data.
· Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a small team.
Desirable
· Experience working within employability, youth work, careers education or skills programmes.
· Experience collecting case studies and writing impact reports.
· Experience working with secondary schools.
· Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
