At Betknowmore UK, we work to prevent and reduce gambling-related harm through support, education, training and community engagement, embracing the insight and knowledge of 'Experts by Experience' alongside evidence-based approaches. As our Grants, Contracts and Commissioning Lead, you'll grow our income from two connected routes: grants from charitable trusts and foundations, and statutory and commissioned income secured through contracts, tenders and procurement. You'll be expected to at least sustain our current grants and contracts turnover, with real ambition to grow it by a further 10-20%.
This newly created role owns the full grants and contracts cycle — identifying opportunities, managing the pipeline, project-managing complex bids and writing tailored, persuasive applications. You'll be well supported: subject matter experts across the organisation will provide technical content for bids, budgets are prepared alongside finance, and our CEO and directors front the most senior funder relationships.

Help shape the future of teacher development by connecting schools, trust and educations leaders with our programmes that supports great teaching, strong leadership and better outcomes for pupils.
At the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT), we believe teaching is a fundamental societal good, a privilege and a responsibility. The role is hybrid, with the opportunity to work from home and from one of our campuses. You will nurture and deepen relationships with existing partners, including schools, trusts and our network of Associate Colleges, while also identifying and developing new partnerships that respond to regional need.
You will also help maximise the regional potential of NIoT’s national programmes, our growing research activity and the future opportunities created as we move towards full Degree Awarding Powers. This includes championing the value of working with the NIoT, listening carefully to the needs of schools and trusts, and ensuring that our partnerships are purposeful, responsive and rooted in shared ambition for the education system. The role will line manage our Regional Recruitment Manager and ITE Administrator, both based at the Bristol campus. In January 2028, our Bristol campus will move to a new, purpose-built site in the heart of the city at Oasis Academy Temple Quarter, creating further opportunities to extend our regional impact.
We are looking for a confident networker, communicator and problem-solver who enjoys building trusted relationships with senior education stakeholders and leading a small, committed team.
