At Endometriosis UK, we are passionate about driving political change for the 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth living with endometriosis in the UK. This role will play an instrumental role in supporting the campaigns and policy function within the wider Communications Team.
This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Policy and Campaigns Manager and Head of Campaigns and Communications to provide administration and wider support for the charity’s growing policy and campaigns function. This will include contributing to the production of government consultation responses, writing letters to politicians, producing background briefings ahead of parliamentary meetings and taking responsibility for political monitoring and informing the team of any engagement opportunities. A key part of the role will also be providing administration support for the policy function of the charity and the Head of Communications and Campaigns, including administrative support for the All-Party-Parliamentary Group on Endometriosis which Endometriosis UK provides secretariat support for. Tasks will include writing minutes, helping produce briefing papers, and booking events and meeting rooms.
You will also be the first point of call for our campaign supporters and will be aiding our supporters to take campaign actions through the drafting and creation of e-actions using Engaging Networks. You will be an exciting opportunity to help build our campaigning work and work towards the goals of our new 2025 organisational strategy.

ECHO’s Outreach Coordinator will provide support to families of children and young people aged 0-25 affected by CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) and patients.
This role will have around 20% of time to focus on finding out the needs of 18-25 patients, parents, and siblings, and developing support and information for them.
We are an independent charity who support families treated by the Evelina, London & Royal Brompton, and Harefield hospital networks, and the CHD network of 47 local hospitals, and are based close to the Evelina London Children’s Hosptial.
Can you… work in a hospital environment, on the phone, and online; plan visits or events such as a zoo trip or a party; support children, young people, and families through diagnosis, treatment, care, and, at times, the loss of a child; and provide needs-led emotional, social, and practical support to children with heart conditions, their siblings, parents, and carers?
Can you also research the needs of 18–25-year-olds, develop peer support and programmes for them, and deliver this on a small budget with patient and carer input throughout?
This role provides high-quality emotional, social, and practical support to children with heart conditions, their siblings, parents, and carers, from birth to 25 years. You will deliver 1-to-1 outreach in the hospital and the community, lead play and wellbeing activities, and maintain a visiting programme across children’s departments, including PICU, Cardiac, and NICU. 20% of your focus is supporting young people aged 18–25, identifying their needs, assessing numbers, and developing peer support programmes. The role also involves creating resources and accurate information for families, offering guidance for those facing bereavement or loss, promoting wellbeing across hospitals and networks, planning events, contributing to closed social media groups, maintaining records, and capturing impact through case studies and testimonials.

You will have experience of working in emotionally demanding situations, be dedicated to supporting people, and be able to guide families through the impact of medical diagnosis, treatment, and bereavement with compassion and understanding.
Support
- Provide a safe space for families, in person, online, and on the phone
- Provide support to children, young people, and parents/carers affected by CHD from diagnosis to adult
- Research the support needs of younger adults, from 18 – 25 years across the CHD community, including patients, siblings/young carers, and parents/carers.
- Ensure EDI is a primary focus for ECHO – help us ensure everyone can access our services
- Be there from diagnosis throughout childhood – work with our Youth Worker & Families and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure our families are supported
- Create ways to utilise the ECHO database to understand our own membershipsProvide information and support to families of children with heart conditions and those with additional needs
- Review and upgrade information for families, build strong relationships with referrers by attending meetings, providing talks and outreach across the network hospitals, delivering paediatric Cardiology services via Evelina London and the Royal Brompton
- Seek to offer support services to families treated locally in network hospitals – Annual mail out & visit
- Represent families throughout the community and consider the varied needs of ECHO members and how they might be included in our service offering

- Provide fun sessions to children, young people and families

Skills and Responsibilities
On-Boarding & Compliance
- Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding and compliance process and ensure that the processes are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner, including: issuing contracts, pre-employment compliance checks, and keying new starters/setting up new starters on the onboarding system.
- Ensure the accurate entry and maintenance of data onto the relevant HR Systems/ spreadsheets, by employing robust quality assurance and due diligence measures.

It’s been a successful few years for the Events team with good results across the board, increasing income by over £1 million a year since 2023. And we’ve just been shortlisted for Fundraising Charity of the Year at the National Fundraising Awards 2026!
Now’s an exciting time as we’ve recently expanded the team again, bringing in new resource to give our different activity areas space to grow and ensure the whole team can do their best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing in their careers and enjoying their work within our ambitious and supportive team.
We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of the role will be project managing fundraising activities which will require a proactive approach and an eagerness to learn, as well as some experience of leading a project yourself in the past.
Examples of projects include the London Marathon, Tough Mudder and our open challenges, but you will work on a variety of activities with the team – sharing learnings and supporting each other to hit our shared goals. You will receive the training and support you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Event management and delivery
- Lead the delivery of the fundraising activities you are working on – monitoring objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure that opportunities are seized and risks are minimised.
- Create and follow action plans for your projects, taking responsibility for processes and the delivery of tasks on time.
- Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and third-party organisations.
- Ensure all fundraising activities promote PCR’s brand and have a strong connection to people with prostate cancer.

Stewardship
- Lead on the delivery of supporter journeys for your projects, providing a high level of stewardship which motivates our fundraisers to raise more and remain loyal supporters of PCR.
- Lead on relationship management as required for the fundraising activities you are working on.
- Carry out stewardship tasks using tools like Mailchimp, GivePanel, JustGiving & Funraisin, for which training will be provided.
- Use feedback & data to spot opportunities for the constant improvement of fundraisers’ experience with PCR.
Marketing and recruitment
- Work with the team to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation to meet acquisition targets.
- Create recruitment assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our audiences.
- With the support of the team, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements.
Administration and database
- Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high quality fundraising merchandise.
- Carry out participant data processing, income processing and budget management tasks as required – including coding, database administration, supplier payments, and income & expenditure tracking.
- Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations, and with PCR’s policies.
Strategy and development
- Always have an eye on new opportunities and ideas to inject into your projects, taking a test & learn approach.
- Contribute to team strategy and budgeting, working with the team to create exciting plans.
- Lead on relevant projects to improve how we do things – from stewardship & content, to processes & compliance.
- Be proactive in your personal development and look for opportunities to learn – with lots of support from your manager!
Teamwork
- Actively contribute to meetings, sharing new ideas and learnings that might be useful for the wider team.

About the role
As a Programme Manager – Networks and Engagement for the Cyber and Tech research group, you will be project managing and coordinating events for the Cyber Effects Network . You will also support the management of other projects and events, as well as coordinating the team’s external communications (e.g. newsletters and social media). More broadly, you will develop the Cyber and Tech research group’s ability to engage with the cyber and tech community across governments, industry and civil society.
This professional administrative role plays a critical part in supporting both programme delivery and the team’s research staff and leadership.
