As our Head of Belonging (Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion), you will lead the development and implementation of BUCS' Belonging Strategy and Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP), ensuring EEDI is embedded throughout our organisation, programmes and culture.

Working closely with colleagues across BUCS and a wide range of external stakeholders, you will provide strategic leadership and expert guidance to influence positive change. We are now seeking a Digital & Data Transformation Manager to provider leadership for our digital systems, data automation, cybersecurity protocols and AI adoption.

The role

As Digital & Data Transformation Manager you will have an ability to influence in digitisation, data and IT and work cross-organisationally with Care/Housing operations, Finance, HR, suppliers, Trustees and Executive leadership. Our need is to co-create the digital strategy, influence ways of working and problem solve at a practical level. This role will lead and add momentum to the digitisation of Keychange. The process has begun and this role will coordinate and add cultural sensitive impetus to the change.  We want to multiply the gains already made to continue the transformation of the organisation. 

The focus of the role includes:

• Digital and data transformation, including identifying emerging digital technologies that can support or enhance our operations and the development of a digital organisational dashboard
• Digital and data management, including data protection governance, data security and data management
• Operational delivery, including oversight of our outsourced IT contractor and technical management of our intranet development

This is a management role with real impact – both within Keychange and ultimately in the lives of people we support.

 About you

We are looking for a values-led manager who brings:

• Experience in leading the development of digital systems, information governance, cyber-security improvement or digital transformation in a charity, care, housing, education or public sector environment
• Strong supplier-management skills
• Working understanding of cyber-security governance
• Ability to explain technical and governance issues clearly to non-technical and non-IT colleagues
• Ability to work at both management and practical implementation levels

Job Purpose

 The Head of Corporate Partnerships is accountable for delivering substantial and sustained income growth from the private sector, with clear ownership of income targets, pipeline strength and conversion performance.

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong finance professional to lead our Financial Accounting and transaction processing functions. This is a senior role within the Finance / Resources directorate, reporting to the Director of Resources and playing a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effectiveness of the College’s financial accounting arrangements.

The postholder will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the financial accounting and transaction processing teams, supporting statutory reporting, technical accounting, treasury management, tax compliance, financial systems development and effective financial control across the group. The role covers the accounting arrangements for the College, its subsidiary and the Malaysian company, with responsibility for maintaining high-quality accounting records and supporting informed decision-making by senior leaders and the Trustee Board.

You will lead the preparation of annual financial statements for the group and single entity, ensure timely submission of regulatory returns, and provide expert advice on technical accounting matters including FRS 102, Charity SORP, OSCR requirements, VAT and other tax matters. About you

You will bring strong technical knowledge, ideally gained within an FRS 102 or similar environment, together with the ability to interpret complex financial requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

You will have excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, with the confidence to advise senior finance and non-finance colleagues, present complex information clearly, and manage competing priorities. Experience of staff management, team development, financial systems, advanced Excel and working with external auditors or advisers will be important. Knowledge of Charity SORP, fixed asset accounting under FRS 102, or experience in charity or public sector would be advantageous.

The Philanthropy Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of high value philanthropy activity, with a particular focus on major donors and high net worth individuals, including individuals engaged through the World Fellowship and other senior donor networks. As with all members of Stonewall Housing’s Team, the postholder will also:

· Be required to support the wider Stonewall Housing team when needed, to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

· Join Stonewall Housing’s All Team meeting in person (held near Liverpool Street Station) once per month.

· Be able to travel occasionally around the UK for key events.

· To work as part of a mostly-remote team, embracing online communication and collaboration tools.

· To receive regular supervision from the line manager and attend training courses as required.

Stonewall Housing’s core hours are between 10:00 – 16:00 and staff can agree regular working patterns with their line manager.
