Purpose of the role: 

• To facilitate introductory training workshops for kinship carers across England, as part of the national training team, through an annual programme of Kinship roadshows and in-person and online workshops.
• To contribute to the continual development and improvement of the Kinship training programme by developing new content and refining existing materials in line with insight, data, and feedback from kinship carers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Co-facilitate professional, high-quality training to kinship carers in England.

• Experience managing challenging or sensitive situations during training while maintaining clear boundaries, using Kinship's safeguarding framework where necessary.

• Ensure training is accessible, inclusive, and adapted to meet the diverse needs of participants.

• Meet training KPIs, including participants reporting they feel better supported (90%) and have increased understanding of the subject (80%).

• Contribute to the continuous development of training resources using insights, data, and feedback from kinship carers.

• Maintain a consistent and engaging approach across all training experiences.

• Use Salesforce effectively as the case management system to support training delivery, learning, and evaluation.

• Demonstrate confident and frictionless use of Zoom, including breakout rooms and interactive tools, to deliver engaging online training sessions.

• Actively support and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive team environment.

Essential knowledge, abilities, skills and experience includes:

• Substantial experience delivering engaging online and in-person training and workshops for diverse audiences.

• Proven experience in professional facilitation using a range of techniques to engage participants.

• Demonstrable expertise using Zoom (including breakout rooms and tools) and PowerPoint to deliver high-quality training.

Job Title: Estate Officer, West

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 36 hours per week

 Overall job purpose

The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.

The post holder will be the main contact for all maintenance related matters and will maintain the property management records for the estate, develop volunteer projects and training on maintenance reporting and conservation cleaning and will assist with fundraising.

Training & Commercial Manager (Maternity Cover – 9 Months)

The Role

The Royal Statistical Society (RSS) is an internationally respected professional body with over 12,000 members, dedicated to advancing the use of statistics and data for the public good. Our commitment to training and professional development is central to our mission, helping individuals and organisations put data at the heart of understanding and decision-making.

We are seeking an experienced Training & Commercial Manager to oversee the operation, promotion and delivery of the Society’s flagship training and commercial activities during a maternity cover period.

You will lead the management of our entire training portfolio, ensuring high‑quality course delivery, coordinating and supporting trainers, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will ensure RSS training reflects current market demand, is well planned, financially robust and positioned for sustainable growth. Alongside training, you will oversee the Society’s smaller advertising income streams, including Significance magazine and the RSS jobs board, ensuring effective administration, customer satisfaction and sustainable revenue growth.

On a day‑to‑day basis, you will manage the full operational delivery of the training programme – coordinating logistics, maintaining clear communications with trainers and delegates, responding to enquiries, and overseeing the Moodle learning platform. You will manage key financial processes including invoicing, budgeting and reporting, and act as the central point of contact during live course delivery to ensure smooth and professional execution.

Finally, working closely with colleagues from across the organisation, you will develop effective marketing campaigns to promote training and commercial activity, drive bookings and achieve financial targets. You will also contribute to cross‑organisational projects, including the RSS website redevelopment, ensuring training and commercial activity is effectively integrated across the new site.

Your main responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of RSS training – planning, scheduling, coordinating and supporting every course.
• Liaise directly with trainers and clients to build relationships and deliver a polished, professional experience across virtual and in‑person formats.
• Implement engaging marketing campaigns to drive bookings, raise awareness and achieve targets.
• Maintain accurate financial records and processes including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, invoicing and reconciliation.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

·To support the community work of Adoption UK Scotland and their kinship services, to provide professionals, parents/carers, children, and young people access to information, resources, and services for kinship communities and to engage with families in their local communities.

·To offer a front-line service, primarily to kinship families based in the East Lothian Community, by supporting delivery and administration for activities and events, including regular support groups delivery, youth and family events. Support of events in other areas in Scotland based on resources and availability.

·To hold and manage kinship care family cases, providing direct family support within service guidelines and delivery model.

·Support planning, organisation of, and attendance at, in person and online events through funded projects and services to bring together kinship families and individuals, enable peer support, build a sense of community and promote an active and supportive Community Network.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·Working alongside service leads within the kinship teams, and with the wider community team members to plan and deliver specific events and activities for East Lothian Council Kinship community members, and kinship families in wider areas where resources and availability allows.

·Provide administrative coordination for community groups, including collating event materials, gathering feedback and evaluations for reporting purposes, supporting delivery of events, maintaining records using existing required systems, and responding to enquiries via our Information and Support line and relevant email inboxes.

·To facilitate referral meetings with new kinship carers accessing the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including initial assessment of need to identify suitable support and signposting requirements

·To hold responsibility for administrative requirements relating to referrals and cases within the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including setting up new cases and recording service delivery interactions, using existing Adoption UK systems and processes

·To work with colleagues in the Foundations for Families kinship support service to support delivery where time and resources allow, and coordinate activities between services where appropriate.

·To report to line manager and directors in Adoption UK Scotland relating to service delivery, including contributing to monitoring and reporting on activities.

Lead and Direct Income Generation and Future Fundraising for Swindon Food Collective

The role has key responsibility for all income generation activities at Swindon Food Collective. This includes high-profile networking with local businesses, corporations and the public sector, processing grant applications, growing and managing key corporate partnerships and significantly increasing fundraising activities. This is a senior role and the role-holder will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The work involves undertaking frequent travel to local corporations, businesses, and wider public sector stakeholders. 

Role Purpose
To design, deliver and secure a multi-stream recurring income generation strategy, manage charity-wide philanthropy, and strengthen long-term financial resilience.

Key responsibilities

Strategy and planning
• Develop and deliver a 12–24-month income generation plan aligned to SFC priorities and the Trustee Strategy & Fundraising Committee.
• Build a balanced income mix (corporate, philanthropy, trusts, community and digital where appropriate), with clear targets and resource assumptions.
• Produce compelling cases for support and pitch materials tailored to different audiences.

Corporate partnerships and sponsorship
• Identify, cultivate and secure corporate partnerships and sponsorships (including 'charity of the year' and payroll giving where feasible).
• Design partnership packages (benefits, brand alignment, staff engagement, volunteering) and manage delivery and stewardship.
• Work closely with the Brand Ambassador & Events Manager to convert event leads into partnership conversations. 

Philanthropy, major donors and relationship fundraising
• Build and steward relationships with high-value supporters, ensuring excellent donor care and personalised stewardship.
• Manage a prospect pipeline (research, cultivation plans, asks, stewardship and renewals).
• Coordinate CEO and trustee involvement in high-value relationships where appropriate. 

Trusts, foundations and grant fundraising
• Own the trusts and foundations pipeline, from identifying funders to writing compelling bids and submitting applications.
• Coordinate impact evidence and data collection across SFC to strengthen applications and reporting.
• Complete and undertake all funding and grant applications (corporate and public sector) in a timely fashion and ahead of relevant deadlines. Report funding progress to stakeholders. 
• Ensure timely and high-quality funder reporting and relationship management. 

Performance management, systems and compliance
• Manage income forecasting, budgeting and ROI tracking; set and monitor KPIs and provide clear reporting to CEO/Board.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM (or agreed system), ensuring GDPR compliance and strong data quality.
• Ensure fundraising activity aligns with relevant fundraising standards and ethical practice. 

Leadership and organisational contribution
• Senior Leadership Team member: contribute to organisational planning, budgeting and risk management.
• Work collaboratively across operations and volunteering functions to ensure fundraising promises align with delivery capability and safeguarding requirements.
• Coach and support colleagues and volunteers who contribute to income generation activity. 
• Other tasks as relevant / determined by the CEO. 
 

We are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the organisation and to ensure accurate, reliable and well-managed financial processes.

This is a key role working closely with the Chief Executive, with responsibility for maintaining strong financial control, producing clear financial information and supporting effective decision-making.

About the role

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for:

• Producing accurate management accounts and financial reports
• Monitoring financial performance and cashflow
• Managing payroll and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Maintaining effective financial systems, including Xero and BrightPay
• Ensuring financial processes are efficient, accurate and well controlled

You will also play an important role in supporting Board reporting and ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory and financial responsibilities.

• Has strong experience in a hands-on finance role
• Is confident producing management accounts and working with financial data
• Can interpret figures and provide clear, practical insight

Our Service

Trauma Recovery CIC is a female founded not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to providing vital support services for victims and survivors of trauma. Founded in 2020, our mission is to build a safe, supportive, accessible, and sustainable service for the community.

Butterflies Lived Experience Community is an integral part of Trauma Recovery CIC, bringing together people with lived experience of sexual, domestic and/or relational trauma to form a community that supports each members ongoing recovery journey.

Every member of the Butterflies team has direct personal lived experience of sexual, domestic and/or relational trauma and use their own courage to support others to connect with theirs and use this to fuel their recovery.

The team consists of level 1,2 and 3 Lived Experience Facilitators, Volunteer Ambassadors who come together to support community members and develop the service on a co-production model. 

The Level 3 LEF Role

Our Level 3 LEF role requires a Social Work qualification and registration.

As well as facilitating groups and key working, Level 3 LEF’s take responsibility for:

• Completing initial appointments with new community members to ensure that the team has a good
  understanding of their support needs and that they can be safely supported through Butterflies LEC.

• Mentoring and supporting the Level 1 and 2 LEF’s and Ambassadors

• Working with community members, team members, Trauma Recovery leadership team and partner
  organisations to develop the service.

• Facilitating the understanding trauma programmes

• Providing reporting data to Trauma Recovery CIC Business Operations Lead and working with them to complete
  reports for funders and funding/grant applications.

• Co-chairing the Lived Experience Forum

• Contribute to the newsletters, social media, attend events to promote the service (at times this may require
  attending events outside of usual working hours).

• Ensure that all team members complete required admin accurately and in a timely manner and processes are
  followed.

• Highlight concerns about team members to the leadership team, identify ways to support the team or team
  member and offer the support.

Our ideal candidate

• Is someone who has walked their own recovery journey, experienced therapeutic support as part of this and understands the benefits on both a personal and professional level of therapy and group support.
• They will be a qualified, registered Social Worker with relevant social work experience of co-ordinating a service, mentoring team members and working from a systemic perspective.
• They will have experience of completing risk assessments, keeping records and using software and systems to do this effectively.
• They will be able to communicate and connect with people from a variety of backgrounds, understand their individual needs and work creatively to meet them in way that supports recovery.

We’re looking for a Stories and Content Officer to join our team

Salary: Circa £32,000

Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid

Hours: Full time and permanent.  35 hours a week over core working hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The office is open 8am - 7pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office. Working hours can be adapted for the right candidate.

About the role and why we need you

We’re looking for a talented storyteller to join our team; to create compelling content that brings human experiences to life and connects meaningfully with our audiences. You’ll lead on interviewing and capturing powerful, real-life stories with empathy and respect, translating complex topics into clear, engaging narratives.

Working across a range of marketing and communications channels, you’ll produce high-quality copy for websites, social media, and media releases, tailoring content to platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. You’ll also collaborate with and manage external creatives, including photographers, videographers and copywriters.

With excellent editorial judgement, you’ll identify stories that align with our mission and resonate with diverse audiences. Highly organised and collaborative, you’ll manage projects to deadline while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality and sensitivity at all times.

To help start new cancer cures and save lives, we are looking for a Stories and Content Officer to join the busy Marketing and Fundraising team at Worldwide Cancer Research, to help the charity run its multi-million-pound funding programme for discovery cancer research.

About us

Through our Reset Outreach & Referral Service (RORS), we support people in Tower Hamlets affected by drugs and alcohol. Our team takes a harm-reduction approach: meeting people where they are, reducing stigma, and helping them access treatment, health services, and wider community support.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is passionate about providing quality support to diverse groups of people in East London. You should have the drive and ambition to support your team to make positive lasting changes in people’s lives.

You might have some knowledge of substance use or transferrable skills from other experiences, like working in fast-paced environments where you had to respond to customer needs. The experience you have can be paid or voluntary and lived experiences of using substances is equally valued. 

You should be eager to engage with people about different drugs and alcohol and be understanding of how different barriers can impact a person’s access to services or education. You will live out Providence Row’s values (compassion, respect, inclusiveness, empowerment, and justice) in your approach to your work, as well as operating within a harm-reduction framework.

You are an excellent communicator and can create positive working relationships with a wide range of people.  You are active, able to work independently and as part of a team and are experienced in assessing risk in new situations. You are creative, driven, and well organised.

Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid have for over 45 years supported women and children with services around domestic violence and abuse. Could you be a part of our team as we continue our mission to end domestic violence and abuse? 

The region’s leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop in and and community support as well as emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.

Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have staff offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.

We seek like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team of workers, all of us passionate about the vital and valuable work we do to support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, and tackling the wider issues of violence against women and girls. 

Key Responsibilities -

To develop and deliver family support and play sessions to children, young people and their mothers in refuge and the community. To lead on domestic violence awareness raising sessions with children/young people and professionals.

Experience Required -

Working within a children and family setting with women and children affected by domestic violence 

Assessing and working to meet children’s needs in a holistic way 

Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with external agencies 

Delivering play activities for children 

Delivering training and awareness sessions

Working within safeguarding guidelines and legislation to protect and promote the well-being of children and vulnerable adults

Job Title: Children's Support Worker

Location: Warwickshire - Travel required across Warwickshire, predominantly South Warwickshire. Use of a car is essential to the role. 
Salary: £25,857.12 per annum 

Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Children’s Support Worker who will be working closely with children and their parents who are living in our dispersed accommodation refuges escaping domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse, to provide personal welfare support and ensure that our clients are provided with a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.

A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that women are provided with a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. The post holder will support children who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence and plan and provide stimulating, safe, and appropriate play opportunities.

Please note that post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

A driving license and access to a car is essential to the role.
