Unlike many cathedrals, St Albans had no historical endowment to support its music. The Music Trust was established in 1995 to ensure a thriving and financially stable musical life at the Cathedral. The Trust is committed to supporting excellent music at the Cathedral and to taking this excellence into the local community in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire through a partnership programme.
The purpose of this new, part-time role is to develop the strategy, launch and lead the five-year campaign which aims to raise at least £2.75 million for the Music Trust.You will do this by generating sustainable charitable giving from individuals, maintaining and growing our supporter base and developing significant income from major private donors and corporate sponsorship. You will also set up a legacy giving scheme. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for all applications to trusts and foundations. You will work in close collaboration with the Cathedral development team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to manage our two Carlisle Extra Care services, Heysham Gardens and Burnside Court are both well established, well regarded services. Both services have a vibrant and established care team providing compassionate support to older adults. The services always ensure support cover is in place during the day and operates waking night support to clients should they need it. The service is registered with the CQC as delivering Personal Care and has good systems and processes in place to ensure that a quality service is delivered consistently. You will need to fulfil the role of registered manager with the CQC for this service and meet the expectations of the local authority commissioners and the contract that unpins the service which holds a ‘Good’ rating with the Care and Quality Commission.
You will have the values and commitment to lead the staff team to provide the highest standards of customer care and person-centred service delivery and to promote independence, choice and wellbeing. The role will involve the operational management of the service and the direct supervision of a Deputy Manager and Support Workers.
You will be expected to work effectively with families and other agencies and to maintain a positive and trusting relationship with the on-site Housing Scheme Managers. You will need skills in contract and relationship management. You will undertake quality assurance checks at the service to ensure compliance with essential standards of care, this is a busy service and therefore you will need to be hard working, accountable and have strong organisational skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with other agencies to provide a holistic and joined up approach for meeting the needs of older adults. You will respond to referrals, undertake assessments and take part in allocation processes. You will ensure that each person moving into the service has a personalised care plan which ensures that their needs and preferences are met.
You will have relevant skills, knowledge and at least three years management experience gained in the care and support of older people in settings such as extra care, home care or residential care. You will have previous experience of staff supervision and management. You will be expected to bring a warm, caring and person-centred approach to your work and to be able to work collaboratively with our service users and their families. You will demonstrate a commitment to re-ablement principles and to promoting dignity and independence. We are looking for someone with a can-do hands on approach who is a positive role model.

We are seeking calm, resourceful, and energetic Relief Support Workers who are motivated and hardworking to join our team at Swanway, an independent Supported Living Service in Gateshead. This service houses individuals with learning disabilities and other support needs, such as autism, mental health needs, and physical disabilities. The service consists of 12 apartments with a shared outdoor space/gardens.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will support individuals in various activities they enjoy, including discos, swimming, and cinema outings. The ideal candidate will have skills in positive communication and engagement and demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You will also act as a Key Worker, helping individuals achieve their dreams and ambitions.
Your duties will include providing personal care, medication administration, developing warm and trusting relationships with service users, and carrying out general administrative duties and housing management tasks. You will be paid weekly.
A minimum of twelve months' experience supporting people with learning disabilities is essential. You must demonstrate a can-do approach, person-centred values, energy, and commitment, and be able to contribute to a positive team ethos.

In this role, you will deputise for the Registered Manager, Supporting them to oversee the operational management of a 91-apartment service based in Hattersley. About the role
As part of the management team the Fundraising Operations Manager focuses on the operational aspects that enable the whole team to run successfully. In addition, the role manages a small group of posts specialising in income sources that generate predominantly core fundraised income. The Fundraising Operations Manager will support their direct reports in shaping and delivering operational plans and priorities, informed by the organisational strategy and the Fundraising & Income Generation Strategy.
This role will also be responsible for elements of the whole team's operations, overseeing Fundraising's use of the brand, the supporter CMS (Harlequin) and general day-to-day processes. In addition, they will provide joint support to the Head of Fundraising and will oversee budget performance in their income area(s).
About you
To be successful in this role you should have proven track record in success in income generation, with demonstrable knowledge and experience of a variety of income sources relevant or transferable to the Fundraising Team's work. You must be IT literate and be good at working collaboratively. Transferable experience will be considered if you have had experience in operations. Line Management experience is advantageous.

Role Purpose
As our international grantmaking and emergency relief support expands, we are seeking an experienced International Finance Manager to oversee high-risk and complex financial operations in humanitarian and activist contexts globally.
The International Finance Manager will provide financial leadership and oversight across our growing global grantmaking portfolio. Terms and benefits:
Terms: The role will be full-time (37.5 hours/week) permanent contract - we will consider well-structured JobShare applications. As we often work with volunteers, occasional evening and weekend work will be required and compensated through TOIL. Occasional but limited UK or European travel will be required (by arrangement).

Salary: £39,705
Location: You must be based in the UK. We have an office in Farringdon, London, where London-based staff typically work at least two days a week. If you are based outside of London, the role will be home-based.
We hold quarterly all-staff strategy meetings and annual away days which you will be required to attend in person: we will cover the cost of your travel. You will be required to come together with the team occasionally and these travel costs will not be covered, we try our best to keep these to when only necessary.
Language Skills & Visa Status: Candidates must be fluent in English and have the independent right to work in the UK for a minimum of two years, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
Holiday: 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as an additional 3 days between Christmas and New Year when the office and our services are closed.

Role overview
The Transformation Hub Manager will play a pivotal role in reshaping our service offerings by creating a vibrant, inclusive, and strengths-based hub for our communities - many of who are underserved, including asylum seekers, refugees, residents facing isolation, and those affected by homelessness. You will lead on the delivery and successful management of our National Lottery funded RenewALL Hub, transforming our ideas from concept into a sustainable, impactful centre for community wellbeing. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Hub Development
- Lead a team to ensure the successful implementation of the RenewALL Hub project, as submitted to the National Lottery Community Fund, aligning all activities with our “Open House” strategy and theory of change.

We are seeking a highly committed, proactive and professional Deputy Service Manager to lead in the operational management of a specialist registered care home located in Witham, Essex. The service has been developed to meet the needs of people who have a learning disability and/or physical disabilities. They may also need support in managing a variety of health conditions including epilepsy and dysphagia.
The service supports 18 individuals in three detached bungalows. The accommodation has been carefully designed to meet the 24 hour needs of individuals that live there and has been rated as Good by the CQC. All tenants receive well planned, personalised support to enable them to be more confident and independent. The care provided includes aspects of intimate personal care, medication administration including epilepsy rescue medication, moving and handling and support with nutrition.
As the Deputy Service Manager, you will work together with the Registered Manager to ensure that the service remains of the highest quality, meeting all CQC and contract requirements and that this can be demonstrated through comprehensive quality and monitoring/auditing processes. You will ensure that the service works in a cohesive and coordinated manner and that clients experience a fully integrated and seamless care, support and housing experience.
You will ensure that the personalized care and support delivery is in accordance with agreed care plans, enabling clients to continue to enjoy wellbeing, quality of life and community connections.
