About the role
As our Telephone Energy Adviser, you will provide energy advice at first point of contact, helping clients understand their options, resolve straightforward issues and access further support where needed.

This role focuses primarily on light-touch energy advice, triage and first-contact resolution, helping people before problems escalate.

Fleet Administrator

About the role:
The Fleet Administrator will form a vital part of the Finance and Operations Team supporting the Operations Manager in the management of the Rainbow Trust fleet. Rainbow Trust operates a fleet of approximately seventy vehicles situated across our nine regional teams. It is vitally important that our Family Support Workers have a reliable vehicle for attending family visits and transporting families to hospital. In addition, the Fleet Administrator will be required to assist the Operations Manager with ad-hoc tasks/projects according to the workload.
Full training will be provided and previous experience of managing a fleet is not required, although is desirable. A good level of maths, excellent communication, planning and Microsoft Excel skills are required to be successful in this role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting new role that will see the postholder leading EVAW’s strategic, influential campaigns work. The postholder will drive EVAW’s planned and reactive campaigning, advising the Director(s) and working closely with Heads of Communications, Policy and Research, Public Affairs and Membership functions within the organisation. The role is front-facing, requiring the postholder to confidently represent the organisation in high-level stakeholder spaces, as well as in the media. The postholder will lead on monitoring, evaluation and learning, ensuring the efficacy of our campaigns and interventions, as well as promoting internal learning and reflection. Using their strong campaigning nous/instinct the postholder will also be effective at adapting or amending campaigns and interventions when the external landscape shifts.
The postholder will have a finger on the pulse of current affairs and trends and be willing and able balance reactive and responsive work with delivering planned outputs and activities. You should be comfortable both working at pace, and with taking time to reflect and re-strategise.
You are likely to have experience in campaigns, working on VAWG or another human rights/equalities issue, and will be seeking an opportunity to work in a highly impactful, agile and dynamic feminist organisation.
Whether practical or academic, paid or voluntary, a background in VAWG will of course be an asset. You’ll need to show you have a good understanding of VAWG, can communicate complex issues with clarity and impact, and are committed to intersectional feminism. Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse is a company and charity set up to:
The trustees collectively have expertise in domestic abuse, child protection, criminal justice, voluntary sector governance, local authority community safety, training and quality assurance. While primarily a local charity the trustees anticipate that, with a focus on quality, some of the work of the charity may contribute to broader good practice development. The charity participates in a number of multi agency partnerships responsible for aspects of the county’s integrated domestic abuse strategy.
Function
The first priority of the charity is to provide an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Service for the county. The post holder will be a member of the IDVA team and provide a pro-active service to victims of domestic violence to keep them safe and promote their wellbeing. They will use their skills to assess the risk a client is in, deliver a service appropriate to the level of risk and have a particular focus on providing an intensive service to those at high risk. The post holder will have the skills to act as lead professional, working to ensure an integrated service and co-ordinating multi agency work to keep people safe, in addition to working with victims and signposting to other services.
Responsibilities:
The nature of this post will require flexibility to meet work needs as they arise. This may occassionally entail some work outside normal office hours. The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude to their duties. These may have to be varied after discussion, subject to the needs of the service and in keeping with the general profile of the post. There will also sometimes be a necessity to work effectively under pressure.

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced IDVA Team Leader to join Birmingham's new Family IDVA Service. This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week, and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and development of an innovative city-wide service supporting parents aged 16+ and their children under 18 who are affected by domestic abuse.
Based within Birmingham's Family Hubs, the service will provide specialist, trauma-informed domestic abuse support to families at the earliest opportunity, helping to prevent escalation of harm and improve safety, resilience and wellbeing. The IDVA Team Leader will help ensure that families receive a flexible, whole-family response, with the voices and needs of both parents and children remaining central to assessment, safety planning and support.

You will line manage a team of frontline practitioners, providing supervision, coaching, case guidance and performance support, while promoting a positive, confident and resilient team culture. You will also support the Operations Manager with the effective running and development of the service. This will include supporting case allocation, monitoring caseloads, undertaking case reviews and audits, ensuring accurate recording on case management systems, and contributing to performance reporting against service standards, contractual requirements and KPIs. You will use data, quality assurance and learning from practice to help identify trends, strengthen service delivery and support continuous improvement.
You will provide advice and guidance to colleagues around safeguarding, risk and case complexity, ensuring the service prioritises the safety, dignity and individual needs of families. Partnership working will be central to this role. You will work closely with Birmingham Children's Trust, Family Hubs, Early Help, education, health, community organisations and other statutory and voluntary sector partners to strengthen referral pathways, promote access to support and improve coordinated responses for families affected by domestic abuse. Wanstead and Woodford Migrant Support provides immigration advice and practical support to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants across North East London and Essex. We are a small charity committed to ensuring that people can access high quality advice, support and advocacy regardless of their circumstances.
About the role
We are seeking a qualified Immigration Caseworker to join our growing service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small and supportive organisation delivering high-quality immigration advice and casework to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
The role is primarily home-based, with attendance required at outreach locations, meetings and occasional events. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, provide immigration advice within their accreditation level and contribute to the development of the charity's advice service.
Applicants
Applicants must hold IAA Level 1 or Level 2 accreditation (or IAAS equivalent). Candidates holding Level 1 accreditation will be expected to work towards Level 2 accreditation within an agreed timeframe. Appropriate supervision, training and study leave will be provided to support progression. Salary progression will be linked to the achievement of higher accreditation levels in accordance with the charity's pay structure.

About the Role
We're looking for a qualified Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal team. Reporting to the Legal Lead, you'll provide practical legal advice across a broad range of matters, including contracts, governance, compliance, risk management, and organisational policies.
This is a hands-on role that combines legal expertise with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, many of whom are not legally qualified, helping them navigate legal issues and understand risk in a clear and accessible way.
As a relatively new function within HOST, the Legal team is continuing to develop its processes, systems, and ways of working. You'll play an important role in shaping these foundations, improving legal workflows, developing templates and guidance, and exploring how legal technology and AI tools can support efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Contracts and Legal Advice
Review, draft, negotiate and approve a wide range of contracts and agreements.
Maintain and improve legal templates and precedents.
Provide practical, risk-based legal advice to colleagues across the organisation.
Manage legal requests through a structured and auditable process.
Liaise with external legal advisors when specialist expertise is required.
Risk, Due Diligence and Compliance
Working alongside the Legal Lead, you will:
Assess higher-risk matters, including sanctions, safeguarding, governance, employment and data protection issues.
Support organisational risk management processes.
Ensure legal considerations are appropriately aligned with operational and financial processes.
Maintain clear and proportionate risk records.
Legal Operations and Governance
Support the implementation of legal technology and AI-enabled tools to improve contract management and legal workflows.
Develop and maintain policies, guidance documents and legal resources.
Embed efficient legal processes across the organisation.
Contribute to governance and compliance initiatives.
Support continuous improvement of the Legal function.
About You
Essential
Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a current practising certificate.
Strong grounding in English contract law.
Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and interpreting a wide range of agreements.
Excellent judgement and ability to provide balanced, pragmatic legal advice.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences.
Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Previous in-house legal experience.
Desirable
Experience working within the charity, non-profit or social impact sector.
Knowledge of charity law and governance frameworks.
Experience using legal technology and AI tools to support legal operations.
Familiarity with GDPR, data protection and privacy matters.
Understanding of employment law, contractor arrangements and international workforce considerations.
Knowledge of sanctions, compliance and risk management frameworks.
Experience supporting organisations operating across multiple jurisdictions.

What you’ll be doing?
You will be part of the MYcommunity Linkworkers team. You’ll be responsible for:
Provide personalised brief intervention and social prescribing support to individuals, their families and carers.
Meet clients on a one-to-one basis, making home visits where appropriate and allowing clients the time and space to discuss ‘what matters to me’.
Provide person-centred support to enable clients to identify their health and wellbeing needs and goals. Co-produce support plans with clients to discuss what’s important, where they would like to be in the future and how we can support them to achieve this.
Manage and prioritise a caseload to ensure clients' needs, priorities and urgent support are met.
MYcommunity Lambeth works in partnership with a large number of statutory and community services and organisations across the borough. You will link clients with appropriate services to meet their needs. It is vital to have a strong understanding of when it is necessary to refer someone back to health care professionals/ agencies when the client’s needs are beyond the scope of the MYcommunity team.
