This Marketing Officer position at Brooke is a pivotal role within the Legacy & Community Engagement team. Legacies are Brooke’s largest single source of voluntary income and fund over half of our international animal welfare work. And it is one of our key fundraising priorities and an integral part of our 5yr fundraising strategy.
Within this role you will help deliver an exciting portfolio of integrated, multi-channel and supporter-centric campaigns that involves all elements of the marketing mix as well as a range of diverse stewardship activities. We are looking for a highly organised individual with great communication skills who will help deliver a range of marketing campaigns and stewardship activity which will acquire new supporters, convert existing Brooke supporters and steward known supporters, with the ultimate goal of increasing the number of supporters who include a gift to Brooke in their Will.

I’m thrilled to be working with an international campaigning charity, that advocates for animals, to find their new Marketing Manager, in a remote role, based in the UK. Are you a strategic, data-driven, and solutions-oriented Marketing Manager, ready to lead the optimisation of their supporter engagement systems and data-driven marketing operations in the UK?
As Marketing Manager you will streamline and coordinate public communications, ensuring they are streamlined, impactful, and evidence-based. About the Role
The Interim Head of Communications and Marketing will lead the operational planning, management and development of the College’s communications and marketing functions.
The role will ensure that the College’s marketing and communications activity has clear objectives, is based on audience insight and is evaluated against defined metrics.
This role is pivotal in shaping and articulating the College’s overarching narrative, integrating messages from across all workstreams into a compelling and engaging story that enhances understanding and raises the profile of the College and its products and services with internal and external audiences.
Working within a small communications team, this role will work with colleagues and clinical representatives to ensure all activity supports the College’s organisational strategy and values. The role requires balancing a marketing mindset with an understanding of the needs and expectations of our membership, ensuring our communications remain relevant and member focused.
Your duties include but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the development of the marketing and communications strategy that has clear objectives, is based on stakeholder research and insight, has a credible operational plan for delivery and clear evaluation metrics.
- Lead the planning and delivery of proactive and responsive marketing and communications across all channels – earned, owned and paid.
- Lead the development and cascade of messages and engagement across the College’s communications channels, ensuring strategic alignment and consistency.
- Be a proactive and collaborative member of the directorate, embodying the College’s values and leading by example.
- Prepare papers, reports and advice for College Boards, Trustees and Council as required.
- Manage the team and project budget(s) for the Marketing and Communications Team.
- Provide direction, support and constructive feedback for team members through regular 1:1 meetings.

For a complex, global organisation (100 million users in 100+ countries), we're recruiting a Digital Marketing, Head of Website Transformation for a 12-month FTC (with potential to extend to 3-years). Main Duties:
- Create a roadmap for the website ecosystem development, content, and functionality to align with organisation marketing and communication goals

- Oversee the transformation of more than 300 business and country-specific websites into a simplified unified domain and CMS structure

Person Specification:
- Degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Business or demonstrable level of equivalent experience
- 10 years + of related experience across Digital Marketing
- Proven experience in managing complex websites and successful website migration projects with multiple stakeholders, regions and languages
- Leadership of teams both directly and indirectly
- Track record of managing SaaS vendors, and digital marketing agencies
- CIM Marketing competencies including the influence of strategy formulation, and influence of digital strategy
- Education, EdTech, Teaching or Exams sector experience would be highly desirable
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and project management skills
- Experience of CMS ecosystems i.e., Drupal, WordPress, and enterprise CMS platforms
