Job description

About the role

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is recruiting an Audio Visual Technician to join a small, dedicated AV team, maintaining and operating a variety of audio, video and control systems, to support staff members and external clients within the College’s event and meeting spaces; this included the RCOG’s x300 seater main event space and the video recording studio. This exciting opportunity is primarily based at the RCOG’s enviable premises in the heart of London.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain, support, and operate a wide range of AV devices for live, virtual and hybrid events

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of the video and podcast studios

  • Video recording and editing

  • First line AV support throughout the premises

About you

This position is well-suited to a self-motivated individual, comfortable in supporting AV for on-site, online and hybrid events. In addition to advanced AV Knowledge, you should bring excellent customer skills and have a strong interest in AV for events. We are looking for a dependable technician who thrives within a tight-knit team on high-profile events yet possesses the autonomy and confidence to drive projects forward independently.
