Headway – the brain injury association, supports thousands of people every year. Our events are a crucial part of how we raise awareness, generate income, and build a passionate community of supporters. We’re now looking for an experienced, creative and highly organised Events Fundraising Manager to take our programme to the next level.

About the role

As Events Fundraising Manager, you will lead, shape and deliver an exciting portfolio of fundraising events, including virtual challenges, our annual Golf Day, and Headway’s prestigious Annual Awards. You will also steward supporters through major third‑party events such as the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon.

Working closely with the wider Fundraising Team and our Communications Team, you’ll ensure every event is safe, engaging and memorable, and that every supporter receives an exceptional journey with Headway.

With an established events calendar and opportunities for innovation, this role offers the chance to make a tangible impact while helping to grow an events income stream currently worth approximately £360,000.

What you’ll do

• Plan, manage and deliver Headway’s events programme from start to finish.
• Develop a forward‑thinking events strategy that increases participation and income.
• Deliver and champion outstanding supporter stewardship.
• Manage budgets, health & safety, logistics and evaluation.
• Build strong relationships with participants, volunteers, suppliers and corporate partners.
• Line manage and develop the Fundraising Coordinator (Events).
• Identify and test new fundraising opportunities to grow our reach and income.
• Work closely with the Communications Team to deliver effective, engaging marketing.

About Care4Calais

Care4Calais is a volunteer-based charity providing essential aid and support for refugees in France and the UK. 

In the UK, we collect and distribute clothing, shoes, mobile phones, and other essential items, alongside offering social support and access to legal, medical, and educational services. In northern France, we operate year-round from Calais, working alongside local communities in Calais and Dunkirk to provide warm clothing, bedding, and services to displaced refugees living in challenging and dangerous conditions.

All of Care4Calais' operations are supported by a small, dedicated staff team, who supervise large volunteer teams to provide critical support to asylum seekers and people on the move in both the UK and France.

About the Role

Care4Calais is recruiting an Operations Coordinator to support its humanitarian operations in northern France. The association operates every day of the week, coordinating the distribution of non-food items (NFI) and providing services and activities, such as phone charging, games, and access to hairdressing, bicycle repair, and sewing equipment.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will oversee the daily distribution of aid and manage volunteer teams, ensuring that proper safety procedures for effective aid distribution are in place, communicated, and consistently applied. You will also contribute to warehouse operations and logistical planning.

You will be part of Care4Calais' core team in France and report directly to the Head of Field Operations in France. The role requires a proactive, hardworking individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to make quick, compassionate decisions in a fast-paced environment. While this is a challenging position, you will receive a thorough induction and work alongside experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide core operational support for Care4Calais’ operations in northern France.
• Support the logistics and purchasing department to manage new and second-hand clothing stock and assist with operational planning for field activities.
• Oversee and deliver Care4Calais’ NFI aid distributions and services to people on the move at the French/British border.
• Manage and support teams of up to 40 volunteers daily to provide services in Calais and Dunkirk, including leading daily briefings and safety training.
• Support the smooth running of a warehouse and donation storage facility.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria:

• Experience working or volunteering in a humanitarian context, with human rights organisations, or with refugees and asylum-seeking individuals.
• Experience managing projects that involve risk management, health and safety, safeguarding, and compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to a wide audience.
• Experience managing warehouse operations or complex logistical and purchasing projects.
• Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English.
• Strong digital literacy, including the ability to use Google Workspace effectively.
• Full, clean driving licence and experience or willingness to drive vans.

The role

This role is part of the Community, Advice & Support department working collectively with colleagues delivering the Guild’s students advice, community engagement, and students wellbeing and lifestyle campaigns and activities. The Community, Advice & Support department is part of the Community & Representation Directorate. 

The role is required:

· To deliver Cost-of-Living projects and initiatives, with a particular focus on basic needs, money/finance matters.

· To empower students to effectively manage their finances, studies, health and wellbeing.

· To work collaboratively with Guild and University colleagues, administrating Hardship funds and assisting students in understanding and accessing these.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Digital Content Coordinator to join our Communications and Marketing team.

As Digital Content Coordinator, you will create and publish high-quality content across multiple digital channels, including the website, blogs, social media, email campaigns, podcasts and video. You will maintain and enhance website content using Drupal CMS, supporting improvements to user journeys and ensuring consistency in tone of voice and brand messaging.

You will also support the delivery and optimisation of paid digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads across search, display and performance activity. From basic keyword research and ad copy development to monitoring performance and contributing to A/B testing, you will help drive engagement and conversions across key audiences, including members and those accessing our professional development courses.

Using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media insights and Dotdigital, you will track and analyse campaign and content performance, providing clear insights and recommendations to improve results. Alongside this, you will coordinate digital content requests, manage the communications planner, organise digital assets and ensure content libraries remain up to date and accessible.

• Co-ordinating, developing and delivering engaging, accessible training and guidance on asylum support, including interactive webinars and e-learning modules for advice workers across the UK.
• Co-ordinating ASAP’s Asylum Support Advice Network (ASAN) — an online professional network of over 1,000 asylum support advisers.
• Providing legal advice and representation for destitute people seeking asylum at the Asylum Support Tribunal (AST), as well as offering advice to other advisers via ASAP’s second-tier Advice Line.

You will:

• Have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and confidently to a range of audiences.
• Be a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others in a small, supportive team.
• Be legally minded, with a strong interest in the law and how it can be used to challenge injustice and uphold rights.

About the role

Are you a strategic communications professional who can lead a team and shape an organisation’s external profile? 

We are looking for a Communications Manager to lead and develop Equation’s communications function. This is a strategic role focused on building our brand and external profile, managing a talented team, and ensuring all parts of the organisation have the communications support they need. 

You will line manage a team of four, including two Coordinators, a Project Worker and a Freelance Resource Worker. Your role is to provide strategic direction, set targets and quality assure outputs – not to do the day-to-day delivery yourself. You will develop and implement our communications strategy, support other workstreams with their communications needs, and work with colleagues including our new Corporate Partnerships Manager to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging. 

This role also has an important sector leadership element. You will chair the DSVA Communications Group, working with communications colleagues from partner organisations across Nottinghamshire to coordinate joint campaigns and messaging. 

You do not need to have worked in the domestic abuse sector before, but you do need to be an experienced communications professional who can think strategically, manage people well and maintain high standards across everything we put out. 

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience of managing a team 

• Has developed and implemented communications strategies 

• Has managed brand and external profile for an organisation 

• Understands digital communications including social media, websites and email marketing 

• Can set targets, prioritise and quality assure work 

• Has strong written and verbal communication skills

Brief role description:

This role holder will support our employees throughout their employment lifecycle and will also provide support with payroll and recruitment. This role ensures that all people related administration is handled effectively, efficiently and professionally. 

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure all HR-related administration linked to the employee lifecycle, benefits & documentation is processed efficiently and appropriately,  including management of data changes with external providers.

• Run Monthly payroll processes for countries outside of APAC & resolving issues with payroll providers. 

• Provide support to our recruitment process from advertising, screening candidates and arranging interviews to answering queries from candidates.

• Own and deliver HR related projects as and when required such as the annual performance review process and annual salary review cycle.

About the role

We are looking to hire a Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator within Restless Development’s UK Fundraising team. The fundraising team’s income has grown year on year and there is huge potential to continue to grow this further and create impact at scale.

The Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator will be primarily working on the Schools Triathlon programme and managing all PR & social media comms, and also supporting on both merchandise and sponsor management. The Schools Triathlon is the UK’s largest fundraising and sporting event for children aged 7-13. Its aim is to encourage more children into sport while also teaching them the importance of fundraising. Over the years, the events have raised over £3.4m for Restless Development and local charities and over 9,000 children have taken part. We are aiming to deliver 15 events in 2026 and significantly expand the series.. 

We are looking for an energetic team-player, proactive individual with great interpersonal skills who is happy to learn and get stuck in. 

Key responsibilities

Deliver and event manage high-quality Schools Triathlon events in 2026 and beyond 

• Throughout September to February, present assemblies for the Schools Triathlon to inspire school-age pupils to sign up and take part in the Schools Triathlon series, and motivate them to fundraise by delivering a fun and engaging presentation.
• Develop strong professional relationships with various important stakeholders from host schools throughout the year, in person and online; as well as with participating schools through the delivery of assemblies and in comms prior to the event day. 
• Work with our event delivery partners to deliver 15 events throughout April, May and June 2026, ensuring that the event logistics, host school requirements, participant details are finalised and managing host school relations.
• Respond to enquiries from parents and guardians on our dedicated inbox and mobile phone when needed.
• Develop a good working relationship with the Triathlon Committee, made up of Restless Development staff and volunteers, while still keeping the appropriate members informed and bringing in support as and when needed.
• Update on relevant KPIs and income where needed
• Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with recruitment of regional volunteers when needed

Schools Triathlon social media & PR 

• Lead on all social media activity for the Schools Triathlon across  our social media channels
• Lead on liaising with external PR and Host school stakeholders to deliver exceptional PR across the Schools Triathlon event series
• Lead on being the main contact for all Host School marketing teams, ensuring effective working relationships are in place and maintained to an excellent standard
• Report monthly on KPIs, ensuring effective tracking for social engagement across all channels
• Work closely with the Comms team, to ensure best working practices and collaboration is in place
• Together with the Head of Fundraising, lead on the drafting and development of the Schools Triathlon parent comms
• Manage the partnership with our events photographers

Sponsors

• Together with the Head of Fundraising, develop a sponsors partnership prospect list that aligns with our social values for year 2027 and beyond
• Lead on the project plan for our sponsors with support from the Head of Fundraising
• Set, monitor and report on the progress of KPIs and fundraising as and when needed
• Work with the wider team to plan and deliver an excellent stewardship journey for sponsors ensuring continued engagement 

Systems, Processes & Communications

• Support the wider team with event comms responding in a timely and professional manner.
• Use DotDigital to communicate to  schools and event participants 
• Competent use of Excel to process data and regularly update internal and external databases.
• Manage the Schools Triathlon website, ensuring that it is up to date and relevant.
• Accurate and timely logging of information into Restless Development’s registration system Eventrac and CRM, Salesforce – executing mass imports, new individual records, and regularly cleaning data.
• Understand and manage fundraising using the digital fundraising platform, JustGiving, ensure all pages set up are logged on our CRM.

Other 

• Must attend the Schools Triathlons as needed across April, May and June and other occasional evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.

The Opportunity:   

The Aspiring Professionals Programme Coordinator (APPC) role will be well-suited to someone who is focused on the best ways they can help the aims of the charity as well as those of our participants and partners. An APPC is responsible for supporting the delivery and development of the Social Mobility Foundation’s programme of activities for young people through their S5-6/sixth form and university years.   
The SMF offers in-person and online support and opportunities, so this role will involve providing virtual and in-person support to students and working with employers across the UK.

Sculpt is a UK-based charity with over 20 years’ experience, who support young people to shape their own future. Our vision is that we live in a society where young people can be fulfilled through their education, work and participation in wider society. Sculpt UK is hiring a youth programme officer who would deliver our direct intervention work with young people with a focus on skills building around employment through our holistic work experience programmes.
