About the Role

You will:

Effectively manage and provide a pro-active, high quality frontline service to male victims of domestic abuse. You will work within a multi-agency framework consisting of MARAC and multi-agency partners when required. This role requires a specialist understanding of the barriers faced by male victims of domestic abuse and harmful practices. We particularly welcome applicants who are male, as they are under-represented in the provision of support to domestic abuse victim survivors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and develop a high quality, innovative and pro-active domestic abuse service for victims and their children, including those at highest risk
• Ensure that the service prioritises the safety, security and dignity of service users and their children
• Be the lead in crisis situations and provide advice and guidance on safeguarding issues and information sharing concerns.
• The role will work collaboratively with the Management team, in order to achieve the implementation of the business plan and the development of the service to maximise positive outcomes for clients.
• Manage a small team, conducting supervision and case reviews to ensure safe practice.
• Carry a caseload, supporting male domestic abuse victim/survivors to increase their safety.
• Develop relationships with partner agencies in this area.

About You:
Ideally, you will have knowledge of migration and asylum routes and the procedures for applying for refugee/asylum status in the UK, legal remedies for domestic abuse victims and have experience of working with housing, homelessness, drug, alcohol, mental health issues and have an understanding of the benefit system.

You will need:

• Experience of supporting people in vulnerable situations, having worked with victims of domestic violence & abuse.
• Knowledge of safeguarding issues, legal responsibilities and GDPR & data protection regulations.
• Have strong crisis management skills to support staff dealing with stressful and difficult situations
• Experience of managing a team delivering front line support to victims or domestic abuse or vulnerable people to a high standard
• A passion for working with male victim/survivors
• Experience of working with housing agencies or in a housing setting is advantageous

The Assistant Clinical Psychologist for Tom's Trust is integral to our mission and is embedded in our strategy to walk alongside the child and family. This exciting new position, under the supervision of a clinical psychologist, is intended to develop and implement our new strategy to provide more national resources to reach every family in the UK impacted by a child’s brain tumour diagnosis.  This will include supporting the development of the online resources hub, an online forum, peer support groups, activity camps and increasing patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE).

About the role: We have been appointed as the secretariat of an Expert Reference Group (ERG) comprising a network of organisations in the London-wide violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector. The ERG supports the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) with its delivery of the Mayor’s VAWG strategy.

As the secretariat for the ERG, we will ensure that the VAWG sector is fully involved in MOPAC’s VAWG-related work. We will convene regular meetings and other opportunities for ERG members to raise, discuss and escalate to MOPAC relevant issues affecting the VAWG sector, ensure the needs of victim-survivors of VAWG are represented, and bring together the shared expertise and knowledge of the VAWG sector to provide expert insight to MOPAC’s VAWG-related work.  

We are looking for a partner network coordinator to coordinate the operations of the ERG; support the partner network manager in liaising with MOPAC, the VAWG Board, and other key stakeholders; and ensure that the needs of both the VAWG sector and MOPAC are appropriately managed and represented through the ERG. The coordinator will work closely with the partner network manager, who will have overall responsibility for the operations of the ERG.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team working to tackle youth homelessness. 

This role is funded by the Oak Foundation and forms part of Coram’s Voices in Action programme which combines CCLC’s legal work, Coram Voice’s advocacy support and Coram’s policy and participation work to champion young people’s rights and create change.  It centres and amplifies the voices of young people through our young ambassadors with personal experience of homelessness or school exclusion. The young ambassadors campaign locally and nationally to change policy and practice and empower their peers with knowledge of their rights through workshop delivery and content creation. 

Working with others across the group, the purpose of this specific role is to provide specialist housing law advice, preliminary casework and onward referrals to young people under the age of 25 experiencing housing related issues.  This will include delivering regular outreach advice sessions in partnership with community organisations.  The post holder will work with the Head of Community Care Law on project design, co-ordination, delivery and reporting.  Supported by the Head of Community Care Law, they will be proactive in developing community partnerships and managing relationships with partner organisations.

The role will be integrated within the wider community care and public law team and will be supported by the Head of Community Care Law.  Building on the existing expertise and practice within the team, there will be a particular focus on advising and supporting young people who are care experienced, should have benefited from care or are young migrants.  The aim is to diagnose complex legal issues relating to housing and homelessness, to ensure young people understand their position and legal rights and are either supported to take steps to realise those rights, provided with preliminary casework to resolve issue at early stage, or where needed, referred on for complex casework and litigation either internally or externally.

The role would suit an experienced housing law advisor or caseworker. We welcome applications from solicitors and non-solicitors.  The priority is experience delivering high quality housing law advice and casework sensitively to vulnerable clients with a track record of delivering against project targets and meticulous case management skills. We are looking for a committed, resourceful and determined housing law advisor with a positive and solutions focussed attitude who is able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. They will be well supported with access to training, supportive line management and will benefit from being part of a wider collaborative legal practice team. They will work closely with a paralegal and be responsible for helping to develop the paralegal’s knowledge and understanding of housing related law.

The role will be based in our offices and with regular advice delivery in outreach locations. However, some remote/ hybrid working may be possible depending on the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period. The Research Manager will play an important role in working with the Head of Impact and Evaluation and across Coram to develop and expand work of the team within Coram’s Institute for Children.

Working within Coram’s growing Impact and Evaluation team (which currently includes eight permanent researchers) the Research Manager will lead the delivery of high quality, innovative qualitative and quantitative studies including externally commissioned research and evaluation to support the improvement of policy and practice for vulnerable children, young people and their families. This will include implementation and process evaluations with children/young people, parents/carers and professionals as well as quasi-experimental and experimental impact evaluations.

• Review and submit invoices for approval and maintain records of purchases on credit and debit cards and submit on a timely basis for processing.

With the backing of an engaged Board of Trustees and a passionate, committed team, you will provide strategic leadership across all income streams. Primary objectives: The Head of Fundraising manages a small, expanding team to deliver sustainable fundraising income. Hours: 30 – 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility on when hours are worked.

Salary: £46000-£50000 FTE Pro Rata (depending on experience).

Pension: We make a 5% contribution to your pension with a minimum of 3% from the employee based on salary paid. Specialisms: The Head of Fundraising will specialise in increasing income through donor development and legacy fundraising whilst having a good, general understanding of community, corporate, events and challenge fundraising.

Key requirements:

• Work with trustees and colleagues to develop organisational and fundraising strategies, business plans and budgets.

• Work with the fundraising team to deliver events and initiatives and build relationships to raise funds for the charity

• Build fundraising campaigns to gain support through direct marketing

• Deliver agreed fundraising strategies, business plans and budgets

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of Vision Rehabilitation Services across a geographical area, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with national standards. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll help shape and improve services, embed safe practices, and ensure that customer feedback drives continuous improvement.

This is a leadership role with direct line management responsibilities. You’ll develop and support a high-performing team, promote professional best practice, and ensure services are delivered efficiently and compassionately. You’ll also contribute to strategic planning, monitor performance against key indicators, and support change initiatives that align with our long-term goals.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is confident managing operational delivery, and has a strong understanding and experience of safeguarding, service design, and quality assurance. Experience in rehabilitation or similar services is highly desirable.

You’ll work 35 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. Some flexibility will be required to occasionally work outside these core hours. This role includes line management responsibility for teams across Scotland, so regular travel across the country will be required for meetings and 1‑2‑1s. Your nominated office will be Forfar or Glasgow, however homeworking will be permitted on non‑travel days.
