About Friends for Life Bedfordshire
We are a Bedford-based charity working to address the social isolation of older residents in Bedfordshire’s care homes.
Founded in 2007, we have grown from a small local initiative to a registered charity with c90 volunteers supporting more than 30 care homes across Bedford Borough. In the last year, over 1,100 care home residents received our services.
The Role
This is a pivotal role for the charity. It is key to the delivery of our business plan and growth aspirations.
You will take ownership of fundraising and income generation, ensuring we have the resources to sustain and grow our impact.
You will lead on grant fundraising whilst also developing community and individual giving, and delivering engaging fundraising events.
This is a hands-on role in a small organisation, so you will have real ownership and visibility. You will shape our fundraising strategy and directly influence how many residents we can reach.
This role is suited to someone who is both strategic and practical — someone who can develop the fundraising strategy and the plan to deliver this, but is equally comfortable writing applications, building relationships and making things happen.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can bring significant income-generating expertise to a new challenge. You’ll sit lead our Outreach team, be a collaborative 'do-er' who leads inclusively, is passionate about our mission and wants to add value to our small team from day one. We are launching our Senior Leadership Team this summer, which includes a Director of Income to take ownership of our income generation, drive forward our social value offer and lead our Outreach team effectively and kindly.
Purpose of the Role
The Director of Income role is responsible for leading our income generation. Our fundraising strategy is to significantly grow and further diversify our income, with a particular focus on corporate and trading income. The postholder will coordinate our fundraising activity, lead our Outreach team and work closely with the CEO to drive forward our income generation so we can safely deliver our ambitious strategy over the next 5 years.
In particular, the postholder will be responsible for coordinating and developing our income function, converting our strategic fundraising objectives into operational plans, managing the Head of Outreach and representing the organisation externally. However, the role is not solely governance and leadership - we need a do-er who is comfortable working in a small team and sharing responsibilities, including submitting fundraising proposals and taking responsibility for our reporting. They will work closely with the CEO, Director of Programmes, Head of Outreach and Communications and Fundraising Coordinator to ensure we are communicating our value proposition coherently and effectively to the important stakeholders that make our work possible.
We do not see this as a traditional fundraising director role - we are looking for a skilled generalist who can meet us where we are at by working confidently across Trusts and Foundations, statutory grants, corporate partnerships and traded services simultaneously. We are a small charity with 10 staff, so while we are looking for a decision-making and accountable leader, the postholder will be expected to support colleagues across the organisation. They will have a collaborateive spirit and the emotional intelligence to thrive in a small team.
The postholder will lead the Outreach team (CEO, Head of Outreach, and Fundraising and Communications Coordinator), ensuring we work efficiently and together. Description
You will provide strong and steady leadership for SafeLives’ communications, marketing and public affairs work over the next year, communicating our Whole Picture Strategy, finding what works and helping it happen to end domestic abuse for everyone for good.
You will shape and deliver strategic communications and influencing work to reach decision-makers, strengthen public trust, and support our mission to drive real change in the UK’s domestic abuse response.
You will be able bring to together robust data, the voice of survivors, and the view of practice experts to position SafeLives at the centre of the conversation with professionals, key policy and decision makers and influencers as a credible and trusted voice.
You’ll lead a cross-functional team of comms, marketing and public affairs colleagues to:
You will connect reactive work with long-term strategic priorities, ensuring our external engagement supports our strategic priorities, policy goals, and income generation ambitions. And you will lead high-quality responses to breaking news and emerging issues, providing clear strategic advice to the Senior Leadership Team and acting as a trusted lead on reputational risk.
You will ensure SafeLives is visible, authoritative and survivor-centred in public and policy conversations, with timely responses, briefings and support, ensuring our communications and influencing are clear, consistent and drive impact.

And as part of the Operational Management Team (OMT), you’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure an inclusive and supportive organisational culture, role modelling our values.

About this role:
The Analysis and Insight (A&I) Team provides analysis and insight expertise to UK fire and rescue services (UK FRSs), the NFCC and its partners by way of advice and consultancy, research, data collections, data cleansing and validation, data analysis, reporting and horizon scanning. The team is passionate about cultivating the evidence-based culture that is developing within the NFCC and across UK FRSs.
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail focused Data administrator to support national data collections and reporting activity. The role is key to ensuring data is collected, validated and quality assured to a high standard enabling analysts to produce meaningful insights for internal and external stakeholders including government.
Working as part of a remote team, you will manage data requests, support survey activity, and provide administrative support, contributing to the effective delivery of quarterly and ad-hoc reporting.

The Opportunity
Engagement is becoming central to how school leaders think about improvement. The 2026 White Paper reframed it as a lead indicator of school improvement. Ofsted's new framework gives it weight. MAT CEOs and headteachers increasingly want termly data they can act on, and TEP is built to provide exactly that.
We have a strong foundation in the North of England, as a region with some of our founding partners, including Outwood Grange Academies Trust, The Education Alliance, BDAT and Pathfinder were among our Research in the Commission for Engagement and a Lead Indicator and we are proud to still have in our community. However, there is still substantial appetite across the North for TEP to give trust and school leaders precision they can act on. There is a pipeline of interested trusts. And there is real opportunity to shape a regional story (events, flagship partnerships, local authority engagement) that compounds as partnerships grow.
The Regional Director will own that opportunity and lead business development in the region. You'll be building on a proven product and a credible research base, and joining at the point where regional presence matters most. Early work will focus on opening new partnerships at trust level, stewarding a small number of strategic relationships with sector bodies and Teaching School Hubs, and establishing TEP as a trusted voice in the region.

The role
You'll lead TEP's growth and business development across the North of England: opening new partnerships with schools and trusts, stewarding strategic relationships with sector bodies, and shaping how TEP shows up in the region. You'll have real autonomy, backed by a Director who's hands-on with strategy, a growing marketing function, and the research weight of ImpactEd Group behind you.
There are three main areas of responsibility:
Winning new partnerships: Lead new business across the North of England, opening conversations with schools and trusts, converting them into partnerships, and delivering against termly targets.
Growing strategic partnerships: Steward the region's highest-value partnerships (typically Teaching School Hubs, sector bodies, or place-based local authority partnerships), leading the relationship and evidencing TEP's impact.

We are open to a range of backgrounds, though it is likely the successful candidate will have significant experience working in or closely with schools and education, and experience in selling products or developing partnerships with school leaders. This role offers hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the office or on the road. About the role

We're looking for someone with persuasive writing and communications skills, good numeracy and systematic attention to detail, who wants to develop their career in this area. About the role
You will ensure you and your team will deliver high quality legal services and manage our Legal Aid Contract, with your main focus being on your own caseload and to manage and supervise the legal teams who are advocating for clients with housing issues, as well as bringing about systemic change. You will be dealing with personnel issues, providing professional support and supervision to your team, including but not limited to, independent file reviews (IFRs), time recording and good case management, as well as carrying your own caseload of housing litigation.
Contributing to the strategic direction of Shelter legal services nationally will be an important aspect of the role too, as will taking the lead on delivering strategic change aligned to Shelter’s strategy and ensuring Legal aid contract requirements and performance targets are met.
You will be able to identify test case opportunities to address systemic bad practice and so achieve change for a greater number of people and will work closely with the Head of Legal Services, the Hub Management Team and teams within Communications, Policy and Campaigns and Business Development. As a key member of the management team, you will also get to play your part in the management of our offices, including attending management team meetings and collaborating with other teams.
About you
1. You will be an experienced housing solicitor, court advocate, carrying your own caseload as well as managing and supervising others.
2. You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification legal practice experience
3. You will have supervisor status and have substantial knowledge of housing and homelessness law.
4. You are able to carry out research and policy analysis in the areas of housing, homeless and welfare law, produce reports and presentations.

About Woman's Trust
The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. About the role
As Counselling Coordinator, you will support the smooth and effective delivery of Woman’s Trust’s specialist counselling services for women affected by domestic abuse, with particular responsibility for supporting crisis and short-term therapeutic provision in East London.
You will coordinate referrals, assessments, caseload allocation, liaison with counsellors, and ensure accurate administrative and clinical record systems. You will maintain safeguarding processes, contribute to service development, and work collaboratively with the Counselling Manager, Head of Therapeutic Services, and external partners to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed, woman-centred support.
