Ealing Accommodation Services provides high‑support, 24‑hour staffed accommodation for 24 adults with complex and multiple needs who have experienced street homelessness. We work intensively with individuals to help them stabilise, rediscover their strengths, and move towards sustainable independent living.
As a Recovery Worker at Ealing Accommodation Services, you will:
- Support residents with high and complex support needs, including mental health, substance use, homelessness and social isolation
- Carry out dynamic risk assessments and respond appropriately to changing needs and behaviours
- Deliver regular keywork sessions, helping residents develop confidence, stability and life skills
- Support people to progress towards move‑on accommodation and longer‑term independence
- Liaise with external professionals and services to ensure coordinated, holistic support
The service operates 24 hours a day, so the role requires working a rotating shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. This is an on‑site role with no home working.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic NYAS Cymru team. We are currently seeking to appoint a Project Worker to conduct Return Home Interviews with children and young people living in South Wales, who have returned after being missing from home or care. This role will be full time, working 35 hours per week, and will be fixed term for 6 months with the possibility of extension (maternity cover). The role will be home based with some travel to a Basic Command Unit in Swansea Neath Port Talbot or Cwm Taf Morgannwg (Bridgend, Merthyr and Rhondda Cynon Taff).
Working alongside our project worker team and partner agency, South Wales Police, you will provide support for children and young people to explore the reasons for being missing, identifying risks and vulnerabilities to exploitation, ensuring reports are completed within the agreed timescale.
The successful candidate will work on an agile basis and will primarily involve extensive travel across the Swansea Neath Port Talbot area or Cwm Taf Morgannwg area with occasional requests for return home interview support across the force wide area.
About you
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic team member with significant experience of direct work with children and young people, within a social care environment, including those who have been and / or at risk of being exploited. You will have the ability to work creatively with children and young people, responding to high service demand, with excellent interpersonal and report writing skills.

About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Casework Administrator to join the Scottish Regional Office team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
You will be responsible for providing specialist administrative support and undertaking virtual telephone casework across the whole of Scotland, working remotely with SSAFA branch volunteers and Regional Office colleagues to ensure a consistent, timely, quality service is provided to SSAFA beneficiaries.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to the Scottish Regional Office. You will work closely with the Regional Casework Managers and the Regional Manager.
The post is home-based and lone working with support from your line manager and team colleagues and you must have a fast, stable broadband connection in your proposed workspace. You may have to travel occasionally around Scotland or elsewhere in the UK; expenses will be paid.
About the team
In this role you will be working closely with volunteers from seventeen SSAFA branches across Scotland, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team which includes 2 Casework Managers and a Regional Manager and a team of Regional Casework Co-ordinators.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. The successful candidate will have experience of using their own initiative, planning and managing their workload with minimal supervision. You should be experienced at writing descriptive reports following a recommended structure. This role requires you to be a resilient person and it would be advantageous if you understand the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across Scotland would be valuable, but not essential.

The role involves providing holistic support to older adults suffering from a serious mental illness or SMI. Our holiday and weekend activities give parents and carers a break while providing participants with a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need. Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.
Family day activities bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. Coordinators develop and facilitate activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.

The Principal Academic and Inclusion Lead acts as a participant-centred professional to lead retention, belonging, and academic success initiatives on our programmes. The Principal Academic Inclusion Lead will strategically design, deliver, and evaluate systems that enable all participants, particularly those at risk or with additional needs, to thrive across the three year Approach Social Work Programme.
You will be based within the Chief Social Worker directorate within the Curriculum Team. However, this role will work across the whole of the Chief directorate including the Curriculum, Delivery and Admissions and Support Teams on the Approach Social Work Programme. As a Principal you will hold line management responsibility within the Chief Social Worker Directorate. You will report to the Head of Curriculum.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Creating and implementing a proactive framework to identify participants requiring early intervention, informed by data and tutor insight
- Training and developing internal practice tutors and curriculum leads in effective academic skills guidance and culturally responsive tutoring
- Lead and participate in teaching, marking, moderation and dissertation supervision

The Barnsley Street Project is a pilot service funded by NHS money following a bid by East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). The service comprises of Look Ahead staff, ELFT staff, and Tower Hamlets Mental Health VCSE Alliance, formed of 17 local VCSE organisations. The Barnsley Street Project operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support for people in the catchment area of one primary care network in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets. It provides a variety of psychosocial and clinical interventions, including the provision of 6 Hospitality Beds for short term support and intervention.
Support Workers within the Barnsley Street Project will be expected to support individuals requiring support from the local community that walk in to the service and those staying in our hospitality beds. This support may include providing tailored and co-produced practical, emotional, trauma-informed support to individuals with a variety of challenges relating to their mental health. This may include the management of symptoms, social support, navigating benefits and welfare systems, practical skills and signposting to specialist services in the local authority for intensive or specific support as required.
What you'll do:
- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Conducting key work sessions as required, that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve individual goals
- Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'
- Providing support with daily living activities, including practical assistance to support customers to independent living e.g. budgeting, cooking, establishing a night time routine
- Supporting customers to maintain a healthy environment and where appropriate assisting them to clean their accommodation and maintain good personal hygiene
- Assisting in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
- Managing customer referrals, completing assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork
- Developing productive relationships with partner organisations to improve service outcomes

Role Overview:
As a Charity Fundraiser with Social Media and Digital Marketing experience, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness and funds for our cause. You will leverage your expertise in fundraising, social media strategy, and digital marketing to develop and execute innovative campaigns that inspire individuals and organisations to engage and contribute. Key Responsibilities:
Although mostly working autonomously, you will be working with, and representing SCUK on the international Marketing and Communications Advisory Group to ensure a cohesive approach (the Communications and fund raising teams from the various Stephen’s Children entities in other nations):
- Fundraising Strategy & Campaigns:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with the charity’s mission and goals.
- Manage and grow fundraising campaigns across multiple platforms, including social media, email, and digital channels, as well as occasionally organising and attending fund raising events.
- Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and corporate CSR partners to grow the charity’s financial support base.
- Organize and manage online and occasional in person fundraising events, appeals, and virtual initiatives.
- Social Media & Digital Marketing:
- Create and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, etc.) to promote fundraising efforts, events, and the charity's mission.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid ads, and influencer collaborations.
- Build a strong online community of supporters and engage with followers through comments, messages, and interactive posts.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital channels.
- Donor Relationship Management:
- Maintain and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors through regular communication, updates, and stewardship.

- Availability to visit the work in Cairo at least once per year (funded by the Charity).

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Leeds Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.
We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.
This role is predominantly site-based with an element of occasional working from home as agreed with the line manager. Your contractual base will be both Home and Hospital.
