Our Bath Road Service is a CQC‑registered residential home providing long‑term accommodation for up to 10 people with severe and enduring mental health needs. We support individuals with daily living skills, personal care, financial management and rehabilitation, while encouraging active engagement within the local community.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the service and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care.

How you will make a difference as a Registered Manager:

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and organisational policies while leading, motivating and developing your staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, personalised services through assessment, person‑centred planning and regular outcome‑focused reviews
• Develop and maintain high‑quality, aspirational support plans
• Implement safe systems of work, including personal safety and lone‑working procedures
• Ensure accurate and high‑quality recording on the Rethink Information System, supporting staff in its effective use
• Manage incidents, accidents and complaints in line with policies and regulatory requirements
• Act as the service Safeguarding Lead, maintaining strong professional relationships with safeguarding partners
• Provide effective line management, including supervision, performance, conduct and attendance management
• Recruit and retain a skilled workforce in line with safer recruitment practices and Equality legislation

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Achieved or working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Experience in an operational management role within health or social care
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards, legal responsibilities and person‑centred care
• Proven experience supervising, leading and managing staff
• Direct experience supporting people with severe and enduring mental illness
• Experience working with statutory agencies and external professionals

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that trainers with lived experience are supported, empowered, and able to deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions.

The LJS Community Care Co-ordinator is central to/at the heart of the care and advice provided to our members of all ages, where needed.

We are seeking someone who is confident in communicating with a range of people across generations, and empathising with those in stressful situations. Experience of working with volunteers, being motivated to help solve problems and alleviate difficulties, and familiarity with Social Services and Jewish community services are primary attributes.

Liaising with our Rabbis and lead volunteers to provide advice and help to members, preparing casework supervision, and maintaining communication with Social Services, appropriate charities and agencies are central responsibilities

The accreditation of units is then published for families, individuals and professionals to help inform their choices when identifying suitable provision for brain injury survivors. Our accreditation process is designed to be collaborative and supportive, guiding units through every step towards achieving and maintaining exemplary service standards.

What you will do:

• Conduct Approved Provider assessments, which includes going into brain injury residential units and assessing the services they provide and making recommendations, to improve practice against the framework.
• Writing and reviewing reports for Approved Provider units, following assessments, that clearly highlight strengths and areas for development.
• Contributing to the development and growth of Headway UK’s Approved Provider scheme, by continuing to drive forward standards and onboarding new units.
• Working with freelance Lead Assessors and Service User Perspective Assessors (who are brain injury survivors or family members) who are based around the UK, to organise assessments and ensure the schemes standards are upheld.

About you

The Role

Social prescribing link workers will work as a key part of the primary care network (PCN) multi-disciplinary team. Social prescribing can help PCNs to strengthen community and personal resilience and reduces health and wellbeing inequalities by addressing the wider determinants of health, such as debt, poor housing and physical inactivity, by increasing people’s active involvement with their local communities. It particularly works for people with long term conditions (including support for mental health), for people who are lonely or isolated, or have complex social needs which affect their wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with direct supervision from the Programme Lead/Senior Link Worker and input from the PCN’s Clinical Lead GP, take referrals from staff in GP practices within the local PCN.
• Provide personalised support to individuals, their families and carers to take control of their health and wellbeing, live independently and improve their health outcomes, as a key member of the PCN multi-disciplinary team.
• Developing trusting relationships and taking a holistic approach, based on the person’s priorities and co-produce a simple personalised care and support plan to improve health and wellbeing, introducing or reconnecting people to community groups and statutory services.
• Work collaboratively with all local partners to contribute towards supporting local community groups and organisations, making themselves aware of local resources and “assets” through mapping and then building a relationship with these organisations.  Also sharing intelligence regarding any gaps or problems identified in local provision with commissioners and local authorities. 
• Social prescribing link workers will work collaboratively with GP’s and have a role in promoting social prescribing and educating non-clinical and clinical staff within their PCN multi-disciplinary teams on the benefits of social prescribing
• Raise awareness of other services available within the community and how and when patients can access them. Linking into the work of Neighbourhood Network Schemes, locality Adult Social Care & Community Mental Health Teams.

About You

As a Social Prescribing Link Worker, you will have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (Health & Social Care, Health Trainer, Health Improvement, Community Family Worker, Psychology) or be working towards/willing to work towards.

You will have:

• Demonstrable commitment to professional and personal development
• Experience of working directly in a community based context (including unpaid work)
• Experience of supporting people with a mental health need and or complexities/vulnerabilities
• Experience of delivering one to one support

Our Complex Needs Accommodation provides supported accommodation, bespoke person-centred care and support as well as intensive housing management services in the community for adults with specific accommodation and well-being support needs. You will ensure the smooth running of the night service by conducting welfare checks, supporting residents, and handling any issues that arise. The role includes completing administrative tasks and providing thorough handovers with day staff and managers to maintain consistent service.
