We are looking for people with great energy and motivation to join our Short Breaks service which offers a chance for young people with an additional support needs or disability to have fun and take a break from daily routines, and helps families to enjoy quality time, local activities, and connections with others.

Our holiday and weekend activities give parents and carers a break while providing participants with a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need. Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.

Family day activities bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. Coordinators develop and facilitate activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.

Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisational and communication skills. 

Full and part-time positions available, and coordinators are required to work most Saturdays.  In school holiday periods, more activities take place on weekdays (instead of Saturdays), so flexibility is needed. Activities are delivered across Kent, so some travel is required.

It’s essential that applicants have their own car and preferably willing to drive a minibus (full training provided). Immediate start available.

What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader / Manager
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
* Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
* Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
* Support customers to move on from the service through their identified move on pathway liaising with Tower Hamlet's HOST and Clearing House.

Social Prescribing Link Worker

The Role

Social prescribing link workers will work as a key part of the primary care network (PCN) multi-disciplinary team. Social prescribing can help PCNs to strengthen community and personal resilience and reduces health and wellbeing inequalities by addressing the wider determinants of health, such as debt, poor housing and physical inactivity, by increasing people’s active involvement with their local communities. It particularly works for people with long term conditions (including support for mental health), for people who are lonely or isolated, or have complex social needs which affect their wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with direct supervision from the Programme Lead/Senior Link Worker and input from the PCN’s Clinical Lead GP, take referrals from staff in GP practices within the local PCN.
• Provide personalised support to individuals, their families and carers to take control of their health and wellbeing, live independently and improve their health outcomes, as a key member of the PCN multi-disciplinary team.
• Developing trusting relationships and taking a holistic approach, based on the person’s priorities and co-produce a simple personalised care and support plan to improve health and wellbeing, introducing or reconnecting people to community groups and statutory services.
• Work collaboratively with all local partners to contribute towards supporting local community groups and organisations, making themselves aware of local resources and “assets” through mapping and then building a relationship with these organisations.  Also sharing intelligence regarding any gaps or problems identified in local provision with commissioners and local authorities. 
• Social prescribing link workers will work collaboratively with GP’s and have a role in promoting social prescribing and educating non-clinical and clinical staff within their PCN multi-disciplinary teams on the benefits of social prescribing
• Raise awareness of other services available within the community and how and when patients can access them. Linking into the work of Neighbourhood Network Schemes, locality Adult Social Care & Community Mental Health Teams.

About You

As a Social Prescribing Link Worker, you will have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (Health & Social Care, Health Trainer, Health Improvement, Community Family Worker, Psychology) or be working towards/willing to work towards.

You will have:

• Demonstrable commitment to professional and personal development
• Experience of working directly in a community based context (including unpaid work)
• Experience of supporting people with a mental health need and or complexities/vulnerabilities
• Experience of delivering one to one support
• Experience of partnership/collaborative working and of building relationships across a variety of organisations
• Knowledge of VCSE and community services in the locality

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in Bedford. The service provides an 11-bed short stay, trauma informed alternative to hospital admission and facilities, part of a wider integrated initiative for urgent and emergency care. You will support our residents who are at risk of admission but can be supported outside of mental health hospital settings, by providing tailored support to them to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals, to live more fulfilled lives and independent living. 

With a focus on achieving outcomes in line with contractual requirements, while ensuring quality and consistency within a trauma informed, psychologically informed environment. You will deliver flexible, tailored, person centred support to help residents improve their quality of life, overcome challenges, and achieve personal goals. Using your communication skills, you will build trusting professional relationships, support residents to reintegrate into the community, and play a vital role in helping them rebuild their lives through personalised support plans, activities, and partnership working.

About The Role

We’re expanding our team and looking for both full time and part time Care Assistant Nights to join us at Mais House.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents, many of whom have served in the Armed Forces. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, supporting residents with their daily routines, and ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times. As an Internal Auditor, you will carry out detailed financial audits across a wide range of social care settings, including residential care, supported living, and extra care services. This is a hands‑on, varied role that involves significant national travel and provides the opportunity to directly observe and influence financial practices in frontline services, both safeguarding and empowering the people who we support.

Working largely independently during service visits, you will review financial records, assess financial controls, identify areas of concern or risk, and support services to improve their governance and compliance. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and frontline staff, offering guidance, problem‑solving support, and training where required.

Your work will help ensure that individuals receiving financial support, each with different levels of capacity, experience safe, empowering, and well‑managed financial care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and unplanned financial audits nationwide, typically completing three audits per week (including occasional overnight stays).
• Produce clear, detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and required improvements.
• Identify financial irregularities, risks, or non‑compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Escalate potential fraud or financial mismanagement in line with organisational procedures.
• Support investigations into financial concerns or discrepancies.
• Provide practical advice, coaching, and on‑site problem‑solving support to service teams.
• Deliver training to staff on financial responsibilities, procedures, and best practice.
• Analyse patterns and trends to contribute to wider policy, system, and training improvements.
• Represent the Internal Audit function in meetings and share key insights.
• Assist with financial incident management processes.
• Work proactively, managing your own schedule while providing regular updates to your line manager.

The Peer Support In-Reach Service is a partnership between several local Minds. Senior Peer Support Workers and Peer Support Workers, who have direct lived experience of mental health issues, are working on in-patient wards in Croydon, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Wandsworth to provide recovery-focused peer support to people as they leave hospital and journey towards living independently in the community.

We are seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker to join the team in Lewisham and line manage the Peer Support Workers.

You will use your lived experience whilst on the ward to help people to build skills to manage their home, finances, connect with family and friends, pursue social or vocational interests, to get more involved in their local community and to stay physically and mentally well. 

Your support will be person-centred and may include mentoring, coaching, emotional support and facilitating access to community activities, practical support, work or study.  The role will be ward-based initially until the patient is ready for discharge; you will then work with them to develop their support plans and goals. You will support them with the transition into the community for up to 12 weeks, helping them to connect with community resources to ensure they are well-supported in the community and working towards their goals.

We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Cleaner to join one of our services in Hackney. You will make sure the service satisfies health and safety standards by following the set out cleaning schedule for the service. You will be part of a team that is achieving positive outcomes supporting vulnerable adults in their recovery.

In this role you will:

• Provide cleaning to all areas of the building including some bedrooms and communal areas.
• Complete regular inventories of materials and inform management of when items are running low so that they can be ordered.  Pass repairs in to the Housing management part of the team.
• Work to a cleaning schedule to ensure all parts of the building are cleaned on a regular basis.

We are looking for people who are proactive, empathetic and have experience in providing support to vulnerable adults. Candidates will also have:
