Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Big Change Programme and play a key role in delivering major digital transformation projects across the organisation.
Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, this role will lead the delivery of projects within our Big Change Programme (BCP) – Centrepoint’s flagship initiative to modernise systems, improve ways of working and strengthen how we support young people.

About the role
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in Centrepoint’s digital transformation journey.
As Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a new People system implementation, ensuring it is delivered successfully and embedded across the organisation.
You will manage the full project lifecycle – from planning and governance through to delivery and transition into business-as-usual – while working closely with senior stakeholders, business teams and external suppliers.
Alongside delivery of this key project, you will contribute to the wider Big Change Programme portfolio, helping to embed strong project management practices and supporting the development of Centrepoint’s project management capability.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact transformation work that directly supports Centrepoint’s mission.
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model, requiring colleagues to spend a minimum of 50% of their working time in the office.

Senior Direct Marketing Officer - Acquisition
As Senior Direct Marketing Officer, you will operate with a level of autonomy, build excellent agency relationships and deliver outstanding fundraising campaigns to achieve ambitious income targets. A focus on results will be vital but how these are achieved will also form a large part of the role; considering the non-financial measures of quality in addition to more traditional measures of success.
Working with internal teams and external suppliers, you will deliver direct marketing activity across a range of channels and media. You will lead paid media campaigns that drive donations and prize-led support, implementing the associated programmes and products. You will also deliver large-scale projects that strengthen the long-term success of campaigns, while delivering exceptional fundraising activity to achieve ambitious income targets.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for line managing the Acquisition Direct Marketing Executive who will support the Direct Marketing Acquisition team in achieving their targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management
· Plan, manage and deliver our Weekly Lottery and Value Exchange campaigns; ensuring they are in market on time, on budget and on brand across a range of channels and media.
· Manage projects that will improve the long-term success of campaigns.
· Deliver motivational fundraiser training and develop engaging fundraiser materials with agency stakeholders to ensure high-quality fundraising.
· Ensure compliance and adherence to regulation and codes of practice is considered in all campaign activity, for example through fundraiser monitoring and engagement activities.
· Work closely with Data and Digital teams to ensure effective processes are worked to and full campaign evaluation is possible.
· Continuous improvement through test and learn principles across all activity.
· Work collaboratively across the charity to deliver and amplify Individual Giving and wider organisational campaigns, maximising impact and income.
· Development of compelling communications and materials to support all activities.
People management
· Management and development of the Acquisition Direct Marketing Executive.
· Ensure direct report has clear, SMART objectives and a development plan in place.
· Complete routine 1-1 meetings and annual appraisals.
· Ensure direct report has goals and a development plan written up which are routinely reviewed.
· Agency relationship management across a variety of partners and suppliers, from building relationships and negotiating, to routine performance reviews.
Planning and budgeting
· Input to annual planning and development of individual giving campaigns.
· Compilation of detailed income and expenditure campaign budgets.
· Work with Direct Marketing Acquisition Manager (Direct Response) in developing the Acquisition programme and strategy.
· Input to quarterly forecasting and regular reporting across a range of financial and non-financial KPIs.
Finance and reporting
· Ensure daily campaign tracking and reporting.
· Routine end of campaign reviews and analysis.
· Ongoing reporting on long-term success measures, such as attrition and ROI.
· Invoice reconciliation and processing for timely payment.
· Non-financial KPI trend reporting, such as opt-out/in rates and quality scoring.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Group Activity Programme Co‑ordination
- Build and maintain a diverse pool of activity volunteers, from musicians to hobby practitioners

- Schedule group activities and accompany volunteers on first visits
- Check in with new volunteers after one month and regularly with longer-standing volunteers
- Track activity participation and outcomes, gathering feedback from residents, volunteers and care home staff

This role sits at the intersection of faith-based community action, cohesion and inclusion, and inter faith work, addressing the social fractures of a changing Britain with care and credibility.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The main purpose of the role is to prepare individuals to move on to independent living in the community. Service users may step down from the intensive support service to high, medium or lower needs before moving into the community. From the outset of an individual's tenancy the focus of the support is on preparing them for their journey of recovery and independence over an agreed period.
You will be working Monday to Sunday on a shift rota starting from 08:00 until 23:00 at the latest
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
You have a strong understanding of recovery principles and varied recovery approaches, with experience supporting individuals with mental health and dual diagnosis needs. You are confident in crisis management and able to communicate with dignity and respect. You hold knowledge of relevant legislation, including CPA processes, and understand safeguarding responsibilities and how to respond appropriately.
You work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to support and induct new peer staff and volunteers. You can collaborate with statutory services such as the NHS and maintain awareness of health and safety requirements within frontline settings. You are flexible and able to work early, late, weekend, and bank holiday shifts to meet 24-hour service needs.
You also bring strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills, with the ability to produce clear written communication and use MS Word, Outlook, and online systems confidently.

As a Trainer at Cruse Bereavement Support, you will play a key role in delivering and developing training for external organisations. You will equip employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders with the knowledge and skills to support bereaved individuals, including clients, employees, or community members.
You will deliver both scheduled and bespoke training sessions, adapting content to meet the needs of diverse audiences while maintaining alignment with Cruse’s values, safeguarding standards, and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles. The role includes supporting the development of new training content, digitisation of learning materials, and contributing to quality assurance processes including trainer observations and feedback review.
We are looking for a collaborative, self-motivated professional with experience in training or coaching adults, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload while promoting a positive learning environment. A passion for bereavement support and commitment to enabling others to provide compassionate care is essential.
