Contract: Permanent 

Salary: £36,000- £40,000 per annum, pro rata depending on experience (based on a full-time equivalent salary of £45,000–£50,000) 

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week 

Location: Hybrid working with a minimum of one day per week at our Putney, London (SW15) office plus regular travel to our services across London and the Midlands

About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and develop our IT infrastructure, ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable and fit for the needs of the charity. Following a significant organisational structural change, you will have the opportunity to input into a review of the IT resourcing and will support the implementation of any resulting changes. 

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT and communications infrastructure while delivering an excellent service to colleagues across the organisation. Working closely with your team, external managed service provider and stakeholders, you'll ensure technology enables our staff to provide the best possible support to children and young people. 

This is a varied role combining operational oversight, supplier management, cyber security, infrastructure management and service delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Managing and developing the organisation's IT infrastructure across multiple UK sites.

• Ensuring colleagues have reliable IT equipment, connectivity and systems to work effectively.

• Supporting technology that enables young people in our homes to safely access education, communication and online services.

• Leading the IT helpdesk to deliver an excellent customer-focused support service.

• Maintaining robust cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements.

• Managing IT budgets and ensuring value for money from suppliers and technology investments.

• Supporting ICT projects and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

• Providing occasional out-of-hours support for critical ICT incidents. 

Our IT Environment: 

You'll oversee and support an established Microsoft-based infrastructure including: 

• Windows Server (physical and virtual VMware environments, to be retired)

• Hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD migration)

• Windows 10/11 laptops and desktops

• Multi-site WAN infrastructure across the UK

• Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online and SharePoint

• WatchGuard firewalls

• DrayTek routers and web filtering

• Unifi network switches

• Mimecast email security and archiving

• 3CX VoIP telephony (currently under review) 

• Third-party applications including ADP, Raiser's Edge, ClearCare, Charms, Access Finance and SolarWinds Service Desk

About You 

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent leadership and communication skills. You should have: 

• Experience managing an IT department or IT infrastructure.

• Experience administering Active Directory (on-premises), Microsoft 365 and Azure, including Exchange.

• Experience managing multi-site IT environments and WAN connectivity.

• Knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery and cyber security best practice.

• Experience managing an IT helpdesk, ideally using SolarWinds or a similar service desk platform.

• Experience leading and developing staff.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience managing IT budgets and delivering value for money.

• A flexible approach with the ability to travel occasionally to services across London and the Midlands, and provide out-of-hours support for critical ICT incidents when required.

• To be aware of our child protection procedures and immediately report any child protection matter or concerns to a TACT manager and any relevant placing authority and the area authority.
• To carry out the duties in line with our Foster Carer and Supervising Social Worker Standards and Practice Guidance.

Rates of Pay for Form F Assessors

• £2,250 per Form F Assessment / £37.50 per hour,  plus £250 bonus for ‘panel ready’ assessments, plus £250 bonus for completion within 16 weeks, plus 55p mileage

You'll do this through providing excellent stewardship to newly established corporate relationships and identifying opportunities to grow current partnerships. This role is all about opening doors and generating new opportunities for support. You'll support the delivery of events on behalf of the hospice for both existing and potential relationships, and you'll also represent the hospice in external networking events, delivering presentations, and clearly communicating the hospice's case for support.

As Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will:

• Line manage and develop two Corporate Partnerships Managers, setting clear objectives, driving performance, and maximising partnership income and engagement

The Scotland fundraising manager role sits within our vibrant community and events team, reporting into the head of community and events. The team builds strong, long-term relationships regionally and nationally to maximise potential across all income streams. Role Summary:

The Programme Development Officer is responsible for ensuring that The Girls' Network develops high-quality, consistent, and impactful programmes for girls and young women across all regions. Working closely with the colleagues in the Programme team, volunteers, and education establishments, the post-holder will support the development and continuous improvement of our mentoring, workshop, and ambassador offer. They will ensure that programmes are grounded in best practice and aligned to organisational strategy. Key responsibilities include leading programme quality assurance, developing resources, and delivering staff and volunteer training, while embedding learning from delivery to strengthen outcomes.

Alongside programme development duties, the post-holder will also be a member of the safeguarding team, acting as a Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO). In this capacity, they will support the organisation's commitment to providing safe and inclusive programmes to girls and young women. This role involves supporting delivery staff on day-to-day safeguarding issues, refining policies as required, carrying out risk assessments, and auditing procedures to guarantee that safeguarding frameworks are consistently understood, accurately recorded, and central to service delivery.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Programme Development

• Support the development and continuous improvement of The Girls' Network's programme offer, ensuring delivery aligns with organisational strategy and responds to the needs of the girls and young women we serve.

• Develop and maintain programme standards, frameworks, and guidance to drive consistent, high-quality delivery across all regions.

• Take ownership of The Girls' Network volunteering platform, ensuring it effectively supports volunteer engagement and delivery.

• Ensure mentoring, workshops, and wider programme activities are aligned with The Girls' Network Theory of Change.

• Work collaboratively with the wider programme team to identify opportunities to strengthen and evolve programme delivery.

• Qualified teacher or experienced trainer, with a proven ability to design and deliver engaging learning programmes.

Freedom from Torture is a human rights organisation that provides rehabilitation to survivors of torture. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for human rights to join our team in Manchester. ​

The Welfare Advisor works within the holistic rehabilitation model of Freedom from Torture and provides welfare advice and advocacy to our clients, forming part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will receive, process and manage welfare referrals, and act as a point of contact on welfare issues primarily for the Manchester centre, and to a smaller degree, the​​ Scotland Centre.

This role requires careful and sensitive delivery of complex welfare information and advice, often to very vulnerable clients. You must have in- depth knowledge of the welfare rights and benefits available to asylum seekers and/or refugees. The Exempt Accommodation Support Service is based at our main hub in Digbeth but provides outreach support across the city. We are looking for project workers to provide flexible, person-centred support to people aged 25 years plus who are precariously accommodated, have a history of homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless. It will primarily be supporting people living in exempt accommodation who have support needs relating to substance use, physical health and mental health.

The aims of this service are to provide additional support to improve access and sustainment of suitable accommodation for people engaging in structured drug and alcohol treatment, to reduce the scale of unmet housing need for this group of clients and to build evidence of housing-related need and effective interventions. The service will provide a range of practical support around finances, health and wellbeing, access to volunteering or training opportunities and integration into local communities as well as supporting continued engagement with treatment and tenancy sustainment.

This is a part office-based, part community-based role with a requirement to travel to accommodation providers and outreach sites. Travel expenses will be paid for any journeys undertaken.

Key tasks (selection of):

1. Provide a person-centred service to individuals, taking a psychologically informed approach, advising and supporting to ensure that clients are given choice and control about how their support is delivered.

2. Assist with practical support such as travel issues, settling into accommodation and addressing any immediate accommodation issues.

3. Ensure individuals have access to key services, including health care, substance misuse, and wellbeing services.

4. Manage an active caseload of clients, keeping effective and up to date records and monitoring outcomes through our CRM database system.

5. To support with timely reporting information regarding visits, support plans and session notes.
