Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Office Manager who will report to the Head of Strategy & Operations, and be responsible for health & safety, and HR for the organisation. This exciting role will also ensure the smooth running of the office space, support staff wellbeing and team culture, and assist the CEO and Trustees as Secretary to the Borad.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management

• Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, and Health & Safety requirements.
• Serve as the main contact for the office’s building management, and keep staff updated about the premises as needed.
• Maintain and organise the office space and storage unit.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.

Health & Safety

• Act as the Health & Safety Officer for the organisation.
• Collaborate with external consultants to ensure compliance with current legislation, and annual Health & Safety assessments.
• Keep team members informed about office safety, First Aiders, and Fire Wardens; maintain up-to-date records on SharePoint and in the office.
• Attend relevant training to stay current with new legislation.

Human Resources

• Serve as the first point of contact for staff HR matters; including annual leave, sickness, contract changes, and updates to the staff handbook.
• Work with the charity’s external consultant and legal advisors to resolve HR issues.
• Support recruitment by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring payroll and benefits information is correctly shared.
• Review and recommend employee benefits based on changing team needs.
• Manage the in-house learning portal and ensure all staff training is current and relevant.

Company Secretarial Duties

• Act as Secretary to the Board of Trustees.
• Manage correspondence with the Charity Commission and Companies House.
• Ensure timely submission of required documents and accurate record-keeping on SharePoint.
• Coordinate and schedule Trustee meetings, ensuring all documentation is completed ahead of deadlines.

Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint, and other relevant software.
• Solid understanding of HR processes and Health & Safety regulations.
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to solve problems and make decisions independently.
• Willingness to work occasional additional hours as required.

• To facilitate introductory training workshops for kinship carers across England, as part of the national training team, through an annual programme of Kinship roadshows and in-person and online workshops.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK as a Mass Participation Manager (Engagement) where you’ll shape how we connect with and inspire mass participation supporters, ensuring every interaction is meaningful, timely and drives long-term engagement. You’ll lead a talented supporter facing team, optimize supporter journeys, and use data-driven insights to grow income and maximise lifetime value.

You will be responsible for the stewardship of supporters taking on a virtual event or Dementia UK owned product. The virtual events portfolio at Dementia UK consist of a series of month-long challenges that bring our supporters together online across the UK, for example our upcoming Walk 31 Miles in May challenge. The Owned Products Team is responsible for delivering key flagship events such as Time for a Cuppa, alongside other mass participation fundraising products at Dementia UK. Working closely with the Mass Participation Manager (Virtual Projects) and Mass Participation Manager (Products) you will drive excellent supporter experience, ensuring supporters are engaged, well-supported throughout their events, and motivated to continue their engagement with Dementia UK.

A part of this role will be project based, with the goal to develop supporter experience to build lifetime value of supporters by regularly reviewing stewardship journeys. You will also work with other fundraising teams to identify any other fundraising opportunities to continue the supporter journey after our virtual events to build supporter long term value. You will be managing a team of four and will support them with complaints escalation, first point of contact customer service with mass participation supporters, and identify areas of improvement with the team’s processes.

We are looking for you to have experience with high volume of supporter enquiries and some experience of managing a team or helping them to deliver excellent supporter or customer care, especially in busy periods. You will have experience of delivering supporter journeys and stewardships communications, as well as strong fundraising and stewardship knowledge to motivate, uplift and engage our supporters to build long term value with Dementia UK.

The Job

Reporting initially to the COO, the Finance Manager will lead all day‑to‑day financial operations and provide expert financial advice across the organisation. About the role
Galop is looking for an experienced practitioner to provide effective support to LGBT victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK. You will work within the advocacy team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to LGBT victims and survivors of interpersonal abuse and violence each year. You will act as a specialist lead within the advocacy team for work with Trans and Non-Binary survivors, including providing support, advice and expertise to your colleagues and externally. 
 
As a Senior Advocate, you will provide high quality advocacy and support to Trans, Non-Binary and Intersex people who are subjected to abuse and violence, specifically domestic abuse and sexual violence, focusing on their needs, safety and recovery. This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT people who have been victims of violence and abuse.  Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community. 
 
You will work directly with Trans, Non-Binary and Intersex victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related to domestic abuse and sexual violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.

Are you an experienced arts manager with a good knowledge of the choral singing sector? We are looking for our new General Manager to work across finance, marketing, strategic and artistic direction, development, smooth daily operations, and responsible for safeguarding. The main duties and responsibilities for the General Manager role are as follows:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT

• Setting the annual budget and reviewing every quarter for Trustee meetings

MARKETING AND REPRESENTING THE ORGANISATION
• Develop and execute a vision and ‘story’ for the Foundation, both for marketing

• Write and send Newsletters to our database of supporters at least monthly or

Foundations, including developing a case for funding as necessary.

• Working with our Trustee for Safeguarding, reviewing and updating all
safeguarding policies annually, briefing annual course staff on their
safeguarding responsibilities
• Dealing with any disclosures and keeping records.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the Foundation

GENERAL
• Attend Team and Board meetings as required
• Be a passionate advocate at all times for Rodolfus
• Adhere to all legal requirements relating to the General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR) as well as all other company policies and procedures

About the Role

As General Manager, you will play a central role in leading and developing the work of The Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship, raising its profile and ensuring its long-term sustainability. You will oversee the overall management of the charity, alongside the effective operation of the Victoria League Student House.

This is a broad and hands-on leadership position, combining strategic development with day-to-day operational oversight. You will drive key fundraising initiatives and business development opportunities, as well as support the House Manager and their team, and the Membership and Administration Officer.

The Social Media and Digital Content Manager is central to shaping and delivering the Young Vic's social media and digital content strategies. This role will take ownership of the Young Vic’s social media channels, promoting the full scope of programming and projects and bringing the Young Vic’s brand and tone of voice to life for our online audiences. It will also lead the Young Vic's approach to digital storytelling and video content, finding innovative ways to engage new audiences in our programming and bring them closer to the artistic visions and processes behind our work. Help tackle child food insecurity by working directly with schools, building relationships, capturing impact, and supporting community fundraising that drives real change.

This is an opportunity to join a growing charity at a pivotal moment and play a key role in expanding a national programme supporting children and families across the UK. This is one of the charity’s first two hires and is a hands-on role in a small team.

MCKS Charitable Foundation works with schools to provide pantry and breakfast support to families experiencing food insecurity. We currently support over 180 schools and are now scaling our work towards 500+ schools nationally.

We’re looking for a Schools, Community & Impact Manager to help us strengthen our relationships with schools, understand how our support is being used, and capture the stories and data that allow us to grow our impact.

This is a varied, outward-facing role where you’ll work directly with schools, build trusted relationships, and ensure we are delivering support in the most effective way possible.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll sit at the centre of the programme, working across schools, impact and community engagement.

You will:

• Build strong relationships with schools and act as their main point of contact
• Support new schools joining the programme and help them get set up effectively

Volunteer Centre Hackney is a thriving charity (annual income circa £1.1m, with 29 paid staff) providing volunteering infrastructure to the voluntary sector across the City of London and the London borough of Hackney. We support over 1500 residents a year to realise their skills and passions through volunteering and social action, and to share these for the benefit of others. We also provide volunteering resource, and advice and guidance on best practice in volunteer management, to hundreds of charities and community organisations.

Through our specialist programmes, our impact on the lives of residents is huge. We match volunteers to housebound residents to help them engage with communities and leave their homes; we provide long term personalised support to people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities to help them volunteer and find paid jobs; we support patients to deliver hundreds of their own activities and peer support groups at GP practices across City and Hackney; and in partnership with Public Health, we support over 250 Community Health Champions to share vital health messaging with their own diverse communities.  

This is a hands-on and strategic role for an experienced fundraiser who thrives in a small to medium sized charity environment. You will have autonomy to develop a whole new fundraising strategy, utilising diverse fundraising methods, and building and developing new project ideas and partnerships. You will lead on income generation primarily through sourcing and applying to multiple trusts and foundations, but diversified by building new corporate partnerships, community campaigns and individual giving. You will build authentic relationships with funders and supporters, and together with VCH colleagues, will identify new programme models as ways to generate income. You will contribute to the development and production of compelling stories, evidence and marketing and build and maintain the infrastructure needed to track and achieve progress against annual income targets.

Post holders need to have excellent communication skills, to represent the charity in writing and in person. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivating and confident to work primarily alone, but also able to engage and collaborate with staff from across the organisation to share information and impact evidence to support your role. If you are successful in securing funding there will be the potential to recruit additional support, and for you to become the Head of Fundraising of a small team.

This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT people who have experienced domestic abuse. Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
 
You will sit alongside our other advocates supporting LGBT people facing abuse or violence. You will work directly with LGBT victims/survivors of domestic abuse, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related experiences of abuse or violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.
 
You will work with mainstream services to ensure the voices and experiences of LGBT survivors are represented in order to make change for our community at a local and national level. You will also work closely with key partner organisations by attending meetings and have the opportunity to take part in external work to ensure a joined-up approach among services working with LGBT people facing abuse and violence.
