A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Casework Administrator to join the Southeast Regional Office at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. Our region covers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Sussex.
While much of the administrative and casework support is delivered remotely, this role will involve regular in-person visits to beneficiaries, primarily along the South Coast (with a strong focus on Hampshire). This is an essential and integral part of the role.

In this role you will be working closely with colleagues in the Southeast Region Office, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. Rights of Women (ROW) is looking for a woman lawyer to join our team as a Legal Officer working on criminal law.
The postholder will be part of Rights of Women’s Criminal Law team and will play a key role in delivering the organisation’s core services to women who come into contact with the criminal justice system, often as a survivor of sexual or domestic violence, as both victims and as women who have been criminalised.
The post holder will provide specialist legal advice through Rights of Women’s telephone advice lines, contribute to the design and delivery of training, and support the development of accessible legal information through publications and other resources. They will also support survivor engagement and contribute to Rights of Women’s policy work, driving systemic change for women’s rights.
The Legal Officer will also play a leading role in maintaining and developing Rights of Women’s online peer-to-peer forum for professionals supporting women survivors.
