Job description

The purpose of this Children in Need funded role is to work closely with our established Youth Advisory Board to ensure that the voices of young people affected by PANS and PANDAS are heard, valued, and reflected in our work. The successful applicant will support the Youth Advisory Board in identifying, developing, and delivering youth-led projects that align with their priorities and lived experiences.

Current Youth Board priorities include:

Influencing decision makers and key stakeholders such as MPs, health care professionals and school staff to shift attitudes and increase understanding of PANS and PANDAS
Raising public awareness of PANS and PANDAS through campaigns and merchandise
Informing PANS and PANDAS research to ensure their experiences are represented
Creating more avenues for peer support

We require the successful candidate to have relevant qualifications and a minimum of two years' experience working directly in youth voice, participation or youth leadership.
