Job Title: Senior Brand and Campaigns Manager 

Reporting to: Head of Brand & Marketing

Salary: £50,000

Contract Type: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract 

Location: London and Hybrid, with weekly visits to our sites across London (mainly to Old Street) 

Hours/Days per week:35 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday

Purpose of the Job 

Focusing on building and maintaining the charity brand identity, through execution of marketing initiatives that grow brand engagement, understanding and participation. Leading integrated campaigns and identifying marketing activities that meet strategic objectives and income targets. Ensuring that marketing plans are effective in reaching multiple target audiences. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Your normal duties and responsibilities will be set out in your job description. However, the charity may require you to perform other duties from time to time. 

• Lead the development and implementation of and brand and campaign activities across the full mix of marketing channels, appropriate to the target audience

• Manage and develop two direct reports, and a team of 6

• Responsibility for the charity brand guidelines for visual identity, messaging, and tone, to ensure consistency across the charity and marketing materials

• Maintenance and optimisation of the brand ambassador programme across the charity, ensuring engagement, understanding and accurate adoption of brand material

• Supporting the integrated strategy and planning of the annual marketing calendar to maximise and prioritise opportunities across multiple channels and audiences

• Lead the major fundraising and event campaigns, working alongside stakeholders to ensure campaigns meet income targets

• Engagement and collaboration with network partners nationwide to support their marketing needs, with communications and toolkits

• In collaboration with the Head of Volunteering, advise and deliver activities that support the acquisition, engagement and retention of volunteers

• Creation of clear briefs that support the management of external creative agencies and/or inhouse designers, to ensure assets and materials are compelling and on brand

• Work hand in hand with Senior Digital Marketing Manager to create cohesive marketing plans that deliver results through applied learnings

• Measure and report on campaign performance using analytic tools and processes that provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation of marketing activity

• Manage campaign budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximise return on investment

Essential Criteria 

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Or significant experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
• Proven experience of working in the charity sector on brand, fundraising and marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of marketing tools and strategies
• Experience of leading a team within a brand and campaign role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members and key stakeholders
• Experience in thinking strategically, to create  marketing plans and briefs that deliver to organisational goals
• Campaign management experience, including management of multiple stakeholders, planning, budgeting, and evaluation with the ability of managing conflicting demands and needs of key stakeholders
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions based on campaign performance metrics
• Creative and innovative flair, with proven examples of successful and engaging campaigns and solutions 

Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, but dynamic team at Access – The Foundations for Social Investment. The Assistant Management Accountant will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Access's financial records. The role will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and provide support to the Senior Finance and Operations Manager and Director of Finance and Operations.

Main responsibilities include:

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (guide c.85%)

• Keeping the accounting system up to date, ready for review by the Senior Finance and Operations Manager, this includes but not limited to weekly bank uploads, posting weekly and monthly journals and reconciling Access's bank accounts and balance sheet.
• Assisting the Senior Finance and Operations Manager with preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and Access's year end audit. 
• Supporting treasury management by maintaining cashflow records and assisting with forecasting future cash requirements.
• Managing the accounts payable and receivable functions
• Maintaining organised financial files to support monthly reporting and the year-end audit
• Work with the Finance team to ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place and are being followed in order to comply with financial regulations and internal policies
• Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time, consistent with the nature, level and responsibilities of the role

OPERATIONS, PEOPLE AND GOVERNANCE (guide c.15%) – scope dependent on number of hours worked

• Support the Senior Finance and Operations Manager with the delivery of the finance and operations team’s objectives
• Support the implementation of new systems and processes to improve operational workflows, with a dedication to continuous improvement
• Understand the programmatic work via the building of strong relationships across Access to be able to provide support to other areas of the business.
• Support the Senior Leadership Team with ad hoc administration, coordination and organisational tasks as required
• Support the Senior Finance and Operations Manager in assisting with the preparation of Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee (ARCC), Endowment Investment Committee (EIC) and Board papers and minute taking as and when needed

Additional Information

In April 2025, the charity adopted a four-day working week policy. Staff previously working 37.5 hours now work 30 hours across four days, maintaining full pay while supporting a better work-life balance.

Your role

As a Philanthropy Manager, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:

• Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels both internal and external, securing and managing meetings with senior stakeholders, flexing style to the audience.
• Excellent numerical skills and ability to prepare financial information, and ability to discuss and present complex information, and the ability to communicate with passion and authority

Citizens Advice Newcastle is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Research and Campaigns Manager funded by Millfield House Foundation, to lead our research, policy and campaigning work. Who are we?

Volunteer Centre Hackney is a thriving charity (annual income circa £1.1m, with 29 paid staff). providing volunteering infrastructure to the voluntary sector across the City of London and the London borough of Hackney. We support over 1,500 residents a year to realise their skills and passions through volunteering and social action, and to share these for the benefit of others. Background and Aims of the Community Health Champion Programme

This role is for our Community Health Champions Programme (CHC). The programme is led by and for City & Hackney’s diverse communities. Community Health Champions (Champions) empower residents to become aware of, take ownership and work towards more positive health and wellbeing outcomes.

This is achieved by the programme sourcing, recruiting, training and supporting a diverse cohort of Champions who live, work, volunteer or study within City & Hackney. Our vast network of 230+ Champions who amongst them speak 40+ languages, are instrumental in tailoring and sharing vital health messaging with residents and feeding back insights, concerns and questions which are then used to develop more bespoke, relevant and culturally nuanced health messaging. Champions, with support from the programme, give voice to communities with varying levels of health literacy: how residents access, assess, and engage with healthcare information, services and systems.

The programme was launched during the Covid-19 pandemic but has now expanded to focus on wider health issues and wider determinants of health such as mental health and wellbeing, long term conditions, diet and nutrition.

Purpose of the Role

The Communications and Engagement Officer will lead on programme communications, coordinating and delivering the day-to-day communications that power the Community Health Champion CHC) programme. The primary goal of this role is to equip Champions with accessible, inclusive, high-quality communications content, tools and resources enabling them to effectively engage in the programme whilst building trust and improving health literacy across City & Hackney.

This is a hands-on role focused on amplifying community voices, positioning and showcasing the continued impact of Champion activities, maintaining a positive programme reputation, and ensuring our health messages reach the people who need them most.

Who we are

Every year, thousands of people in the UK face court alone. Often through no choice of their own, people must represent themselves at a moment that could have life-changing outcomes. This includes loss of access to children or homelessness. At the same time, people facing court alone may find themselves up against a party with legal representation. They are instantly at a disadvantage and overwhelmed by the enormity of the challenges they are up against. We supported unrepresented litigants in the civil and family courts in England and Wales over 45,000 times last year.

We provide a safe space with volunteers who listen to each client’s individual story. Last year, over 1000 volunteers helped people to get their thoughts in order, problem-solve and decide next steps, source relevant and reliable legal information, explain complex procedures, complete court forms, and clearly present statements.

At a time when legal support is increasingly limited, we have a vision that no one should have to face court alone.

The role 

Support Through Court is establishing a legal advice clinic for money claim matters under £10,000, for a one-year pilot. Advice will be given to clients across the national service network who have been internally triaged to the clinic.

The role involves day-to day management of the clinic and supervising law students as they facilitate client appointments, conduct research and draft letters of advice. Clients will predominantly be supported remotely with occasional in-person appointments and advice “drop-ins” in the local area. You will train and supervise students to help them gain practical legal skills in a clinic setting, having final sign-off of completed letters of advice/oral advice to ensure clients receive an excellent service.

You will embed the legal advice offering of the clinic into the organisation, increasing and developing referrals from our national service network and supporting staff understanding of referral ability.

You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years PQE (ideally 5+) with an active practicing certificate. You will have experience managing students and/or volunteers and a commitment to supporting Litigants in Person.

RSPCA Finchley, Golders Green, Hendon & District Branch is looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Shop Manager to lead our North Finchley Charity Shop and help transform the lives of vulnerable animals across North London.

Location: North Finchley, London
Salary: £21,840 per annum
Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract: Permanent contract (subject to successful completion of a 3-month probationary period)

Every sale, every donation and every volunteer you inspire helps fund the rescue, veterinary treatment, rehabilitation and rehoming of abandoned cats and kittens, alongside neglected, injured and vulnerable animals. This is more than a retail management role: it is an opportunity to make a genuine difference every single day.

You willlead the day-to-day operation of our busy charity shop, motivate and develop a team of staff and volunteers, drive sales both in-store and online, maximise donations and deliver an excellent customer experience while supporting the Branch's local animal welfare work.

We're looking for someone with retail management experience who enjoys leading people, achieving ambitious targets and delivering outstanding customer service. Charity retail experience is welcome but not essential.

The role will include weekend working and occasional evenings in line with the operational needs of the Branch.

Avon Wildlife Trust are looking for an IT manager to manage The Trust’s internal IT services and provide support to all employees. We are looking for someone to provide project management support, oversee internal IT systems and help to develop the skills of employees through training.
