Working closely with senior leaders and Board members, you will be responsible for coordinating meetings, preparing high-quality documentation, and supporting compliance with governance and regulatory standards.

You will play an essential part in delivering a professional and efficient meeting management service. This includes planning and scheduling meetings, drafting agendas and papers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that best practice principles are upheld across all committee processes.

You may already have experience in committee administration, or you may bring a strong background in general administration or an educational interest in governance and a willingness to learn.

As Clinical Research Administrator, you will be integral in helping to support and deliver the activity in the research team. This includes supporting our clinical research initiatives, such as the UK Blood Cancer Research Network, and a newly launched strategic funding call for large-scale clinical trials. The UKBCRN is a large network, consisting of 16 major disease sub-groups and acts as a focal point for UK clinical academics to collaborate and drive the blood cancer research agenda.

The Chartered College of Teaching is currently working on a number of exciting projects, and is looking for an EdTech Evidence Lead who will play a key role in the success of these projects. The EdTech Evidence Lead will play a key role in delivering one of our key projects, focusing on EdTech Evidence. Drawing on their experience and knowledge of EdTech, they will support EdTech companies and educators to build understanding about gathering and evaluating evidence for different EdTech products. They will develop guidance and materials to facilitate this, and work with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to develop resources, systems and processes that aim to promote and recognise ‘high-quality’ evidence around EdTech. 

Main responsibilities include:

• Developing tools and resources to support individuals and organisations to engage with, and in, gathering and evaluating evidence around EdTech
• Developing guidance and training which helps EdTech companies plan and carry out evidence-gathering activities for their products and prepares them to submit evidence for formal review
• Contributing to the development and delivery of processes and systems for formally reviewing EdTech evidence
• Build relationships with EdTech companies and other key stakeholders to understand their use of evidence relating to EdTech and engage them with the project

Role Purpose:

The postholder will develop and implement strategies to double the amount individual members give each year for the next three years. Spires supports homeless and vulnerably housed people in South London. Spires has undergone a period of rapid transformation, moving to a model of multi-site working across three London Boroughs. Our core services include, day centre style drop ins for homeless people, a Women’s drop in, a Refugee drop in and outreach targeted at supporting Women who are sex working.  
 
The Head of Fundraising and Communications will be joining the organisation at an exciting time. Recent successful funding outcomes provide a short period of relative funding stability and an opportunity for the post holder to develop our communications and community fundraising strategies.

Part 1:  Job profile 

 
1.1 Purpose of job 

To generate income from a diverse funding pool that includes trusts and foundations, legacy and individual giving, community giving, government contracts and corporate support. Trusts and foundations remain the primary funding source for Spires so maintaining consistent application output is a core element of the role.

Oversee Spires’ external relations and public profile. The post holder will be responsible for all communications and will look for areas to increase the organisations profile.

Work with Spires CEO and the Head of Client Services to ensure that data and outcomes are being effectively captured in a way that is helpful for evidencing impact.

1.2 Position in organisation 

The post holder joins Spires’ Senior Leadership Team and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The post holder will join the finance, fundraising and risk subcommittee which includes members of the board of trustees.

The post holder will manage the Communications and Community Engagement Lead who currently leads on community fundraising, social media and volunteer recruitment.

Part 2: Key duties and responsibilities

• To manage the fundraising/communications staff and volunteers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on World Cancer Research Fund International’s Global Cancer Update Programme (CUP Global). CUP Global (previously known as CUP) is a unique, long-standing, and rigorous research programme that systematically gathers, analyses, and judges the strength of the global evidence on how diet, nutrition, physical activity and body weight affect cancer risk and survival. This work led to the publication of the authoritative Third Expert Report in 2018, which now needs updating in places to remain relevant and impactful. 

As Senior Research Interpretation Officer, you will be a valuable member of the Research Interpretation team and the CUP Global scientific Secretariat. Your core work will be supporting the management of CUP Global on a day-to-day basis to help deliver its main objective of updating the Third Expert Report. You will provide scientific input, administrative support, and help coordinate specific work areas of CUP Global.

Job Purpose

The Email Conversion Officer plays a role in maximising the effectiveness of our digital campaigns, channels, platforms, and user journeys.

They will work alongside the other members of the Digital Conversion teams under the direction of the Digital Conversion Manager and in collaboration with the wider Digital Team and Fundraising and Communications departments.

The role holder will improve key conversion metrics such as donations and campaign engagement through iterative design processes; making sure we fine tune our supporter journeys and enhance digital marketing practices.

The Email Conversion Officer will specifically help with:

·Optimising our post donation journeys specifically with audience segmentation

·Devising and running email testing schedules, implementing iterative improvements to meet user needs
