The Independent Training, delivered in collaboration with IPCAPA at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (bpf) and the Anna Freud Centre/UCL is seeking progress advisors to support 4-5 trainees on the Doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy training from the start of their training through to completion.

This is an exciting opportunity to guide and support trainees in their development as future child psychotherapists. The successful postholders will liaise with the year 1 tutor, clinical and research tutors, service supervisors and intensive case supervisors. About the role

You will join a team managing Galop’s specialist advocacy services, providing support to LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK, with a specialist focus on hate crime and hate-motivated abuse. You will work within the advocacy management team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to thousands of LGBT+ victims and survivors of interpersonal abuse and violence each year.

You will manage a team of specialist advocates and triage workers providing needs-led support, information and advocacy to LGBT+ survivors of a range of violence and abuse. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and other advocacy managers to ensure that survivors have access to needs-led, timely support that is right for them, maintaining high quality, consistent support across our advocacy and one-to-one support, whether that is in-person or remote. 

You will have an in depth understanding of the spectrum of violence and abuse that LGBT+ people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community. 

You will also have management and oversight of the CATCH Partnership, a pan-London consortium of by-and-for hate crime support services, that cover all protected strands of hate crime across race, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation and transgender status. You will need to have excellent partner management skills and be able to lead and support a diverse range of organisations with an understanding of their specific needs and challenges. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected about the service is collected consistently and use this to report to funders. You will develop and maintain relationships with funders and ensuring that the service is effectively demonstrating the different that it makes. We are looking for a Marketing Manager, Supporter and Youth to join our Engagement team.

Title: Marketing Manager, Supporter and Youth

Salary: £39,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location: Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London

This role sits within the Marketing team and supports the Senior Marketing Manager in delivering audience-centred marketing to increase visibility, inspire action and nurture a growing, engaged and loyal community.

You will lead the day-to-day marketing approach for supporter and youth audiences, developing and optimising end-to-end audience journeys and delivering integrated, insight-led campaigns. This includes campaign planning, overseeing creative development, conducting audience and competitor research, executing multi-channel activity, and evaluating performance to inform continuous improvement.

Working closely with the wider Marketing team and Communications, you will provide strategic marketing support planning and advice to the Fundraising and Register Development teams to build brand awareness, drive consideration and strengthen long-term engagement. You will build impactful relationships across the organisation, managing stakeholders effectively and ensuring shared objectives and alignment on priorities.

You will have proven experience in delivering brand-led marketing campaigns, alongside strong stakeholder management skills. You will also work closely with external brand, media and creative agencies where needed, supporting the development and delivery of campaigns aligned with organisational aims.

The role is part of the wider Engagement division (which includes Communications and Register Development).

Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to lead a reactive repairs team across South East London, ensuring high quality repairs and excellent customer service for residents.

Position: Reactive Maintenance Supervisor
Salary: £47,989 to £51,650 per annum depending on experience
Location: South East London covering Lewisham and Bromley
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Shifts between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday plus call out rota

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reactive Maintenance Supervisor to join a busy in-house maintenance team delivering responsive repairs across social housing properties.

You will lead a team of approximately 10 multi-trade and specialist operatives, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard. Working closely with housing, surveying, property services, planning and contact centre teams, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent repairs service for residents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of maintenance operatives
• Managing reactive repairs performance and service delivery
• Monitoring KPIs, budgets and productivity levels
• Providing technical advice on complex repairs and maintenance issues
• Ensuring health and safety compliance across all works
• Managing performance, absence and development within the team
• Working collaboratively with contractors and internal departments
• Promoting a strong customer-focused and inclusive working culture

About You

We are looking for a confident people manager with strong maintenance knowledge and experience within social housing, local authority or property maintenance environments.

You will have:

• Experience managing maintenance teams within social housing or property services
• Good knowledge of reactive repairs and maintenance trades
• Strong understanding of health and safety, including asbestos awareness
• Experience managing KPIs, budgets and operational performance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to motivate and develop dispersed teams
• Experience managing performance and absence processes
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Full manual UK driving licence
