About the role

· Have experience of managing a team, including providing supervision to other social workers.

Job Purpose

To provide strategic and  operational leadership for the Bexley Mental Health  Hub, which is an integrated service between Mind in Bexley,  Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and London Borough of Bexley Adult Social Care . The postholder will play a key role in supporting three partners to deliver an  integrated service, ensuring alignment, coordination, and high standards across both organisations. They will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and other senior leads to ensure service delivery is safe, effective, and responsive to community needs.

This position requires the ability to deliver results at pace, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. The postholder will manage a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring performance, professional development, and wellbeing are prioritised. • Provide operational oversight across Oxleas and Mind in Bexley, ensuring integrated pathways and a seamless service user experience.

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for our charity shops and support functions across London
• Post job adverts and screen CVs via platforms like Indeed and social media whilst budgeting and managing costs associated with recruitment
• Arrange and at times attend interviews with hiring managers
• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and support them throughout the hiring process
• Support with the development of recruitment and volunteering policies
• Develop and maintain recruitment processes to help ensure compliance and observe best practice at all times
• Develop, organise and deliver recruitment training for hiring managers
• Contribute to targeted recruitment campaigns in collaboration with our marketing team
• Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment metrics
• Help grow our volunteer programme and develop pathways for volunteer engagement
• Produce insightful recruitment reports for the Senior Leadership Team
• Champion equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of hiring

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Proven experience as a recruitment professional  (3+ years) and qualifications in the subject matter, preferably CIPD certified
• Experience working in charity retail, non-profit organisations and recruiting volunteers
• Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems
• Experience producing reports for senior leadership
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with great time management
• Passion for diversity, inclusion and collaborative working
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup and travelling to shop locations

Job Title: Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA)

Location: The GAIA Centre (Lambeth)
Salary: £28,857.12 per annum (Inclusive of London Weighting, which may not be applicable depending on your home location and any agreed permanent homeworking arrangement)

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an IGVA supporting women and children who are impacted by different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The independent gender violence advocate will work closely with victims of gender-based violence from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of gender-based violence at the highest risk and their children.

The role will be part of increasing the ability of partner agencies to recognise, reject and respond appropriately and safely to all forms of gender-based violence (including domestic violence, sexual, financial and emotional abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and honour-based violence). The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. The job involves ensuring that women are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal, and practical options that might increase their safety.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Delivery of Spear Programme

• As a coach you will support Spear centres in London and across the UK by preparing and coaching Spear Foundation group sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme
• Quickly building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room
• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively
• You will be required to travel outside of London and potentially stay for a period of time at the centre. All business expenses will be covered during the working week

Spear Centre Support

• You will form part of a central support team that enables Spear Centres to deliver high quality, high impact sessions to young people when one of their team is sick or the centre is short-staffed
• You will be placed where the support is needed most, working peripatetically across centres. This could look like 2 months based in one centre or various weeks working across different centres both in London and across the UK

Trainee recruitment

• Supporting Spear Centres to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme, through active face-to-face recruitment

Active participation in and support for Resurgo’s team and mission

• Help build and develop Resurgo’s ethos and Christian life as a team member including leading and contributing to daily team prayer meetings as an integral part of Resurgo’s operation and for the success of its mission

This role will suit you if:

•  You have demonstrable experience as a coach, or a background in youth work or teaching, and are keen to develop these skills further

• Exercises initiative, highly self-motivated, flexible and a forward planner

This role requires occasional evening work, for our termly Spear Celebrations (where we celebrate our trainees as they complete the initial six weeks of the programme).

The LSO is actively expanding its digital offer through the work of LSO Live, Discovery and Marketing and is running a Digital Asset Management project to provide greater access to its digital content assets across the organisation and in commercial, non-commercial and academic contexts. 

The DAM will contribute to more efficient ways of working, help generate new income, enhance creativity across the organisation and assist LSO teams to find, collate and use a wide range of digital content generated by key stakeholders. 

To assist with this detailed and essential work, we are now looking for a Digital Archives Coordinator who will support the DAM system by ensuring the transfer of data is both accurate and in line with deadlines, working closely with several colleagues to agree the correct approach, whilst ensuring the DAM is championed across the organisation.
