Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity to recruit for The Individual Giving & Supporter Care Assistant role in order to play a key part in ensuring supporters receive excellent service while helping to process and manage donations accurately. This is a varied role combining direct communication with donors, finance support and database management.
Key responsibilities:
- Process donations received via post, telephone, online platforms, and standing orders, liaising with the Finance team where needed
- Manage daily income processing, ensuring all donations are correctly recorded or forwarded
- Oversee Gift Aid processing, including checking, scanning, and secure storage
- Respond to supporter enquiries via phone, email, and post in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain and update donor records, including changes to personal details and communication preferences
- Manage filing systems and maintain accurate records of correspondence
- Record Legacy and In Memoriam income and maintain related communications
- Support fundraising campaigns by assisting with data checks, proofing materials, and coordinating with external partners
About you:
- Experience working in an office or administrative environment
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident telephone manner
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Experience using databases or similar systems
- Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information with tact
- A collaborative and positive approach, with a willingness to support team objectives
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £32,929
- Contract type: Permanent, full-time
- Location: London, hybrid working, 2 days in the office

The Role

- Supporting and growing community fundraising initiatives
- Developing and managing corporate partnerships and CSR opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with supporters, fundraisers, and volunteers
- Tracking income and maintaining accurate fundraising records and reports
About You
- Proven experience in a fundraising role (essential)
- Experience within a charity or not-for-profit organisation (desirable)
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding fundraising targets
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects
- Confident using IT systems, including databases or CRM platforms

Role overview
You will oversee repairs, maintenance, compliance, and voids across a portfolio of properties, ensuring homes are safe, well-maintained, and meet all regulatory standards. The role includes managing a team, overseeing contractors, controlling budgets, and driving service improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the property services team
- Manage repairs, voids, planned and cyclical maintenance
- Oversee contractor performance and KPIs
- Ensure full health & safety compliance (gas, fire, electrical, water, asbestos)
- Monitor budgets and control costs
- Reduce void turnaround times and rent loss
- Maintain estate and scheme standards
- Produce performance and management reports
- Engage residents and incorporate feedback into service delivery
About you
- Experience in housing/property management (social housing, local authority, or similar)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of repairs, compliance, and housing legislation
- Experience managing contractors and KPIs
- Strong understanding of H&S in housing
- Good communication and stakeholder skills
- Customer-focused approach
- Property/surveying qualification desirable
