You will be required to work 2 days in the central London office, with the rest from home. This role can be full time, or 4 days per week pro rota if you wanted less hours, and the pro rota salary is £42840pa.
The client is looking for a permanent member of staff, so this fills an interim gap, following unsuccessful rounds. This is therefore an ASAP start.
As the Trust and Foundations Manager, you will be required to complete applications in the £50k + remit. However, depending on experience and profile, this could be the Mid - low value side instead or in addition.
As its hard to put a financial target within a 6 month stint, KPI's will be set in the number and value or applications sent.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager with a health research charity on a part-time (0.6 FTE), permanent basis. As Finance Manager, you will play a leading, hands-on role in running the organisation’s core finance operations, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting and effective support to teams across the organisation. Working closely with the Director of Finance & Resources, you will take ownership of core finance processes providing operational leadership, internal business partnering and process discipline.

As Finance Manager, you will:
- Lead and oversee the organisation’s core finance operations (accounts payables, receivables, bank accounts, cards and other elements) ensuring financial data and transactions are processed accurately and on time
- Prepare timely and accurate management accounts, forecasts and other reports as necessary for the Trustees, CEO, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and internal teams
- Assist the Director of Finance & Resources with annual planning and budgeting
- Support the Director of Finance & Resources in improvements to finance processes, reducing reliance on manual spreadsheets and ad-hoc workarounds
- Support the transition from outsourced to insourced finances and services during the implementation phase
- Line-manage and support the Finance Officer
The successful applicant will:
- Have significant demonstrable experience in finance within the charity sector, in a similar role
- Be a part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc)
- Have significant experience and confidence in managing a full range of finance operations in a small or medium sized charitable organisation
- Have excellent knowledge of UK charity SORP and regulatory reporting requirements
- Be highly experienced in all aspects of Xero cloud-based accounting system, especially reporting
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

As a Marketing Manager, you will deliver marketing campaigns and developments in a multi-disciplinary marketing team. You will work on a range of channels, products and campaigns. Expectations
Responsible for managing expenditure and/or income within an allocated budget – including making recommendations for planning and reforecasting to maximise Return on Investment
Operational delivery of marketing campaigns. This will include developing briefs and scrutinising media plans, working with the Creative team and partner agencies to produce creative content, working with the relevant teams to generate complex data selections, reviewing campaign performance analysis and recommending optimisations and testing strategies
Support development and implementation of strategy and roadmap for a specialist marketing area
Support teams to plan effective marketing activity and projects for your specialist area, providing informed recommendations and ensuring teams are supported to deliver effective marketing activity
Develop productive day-to-day working relationships with marketing agency partners; ensuring accurate and timely reporting, status meetings and a smooth working relationship.
Collaborate internally to build positive working relationships to ensure that key stakeholder teams have a good understanding of marketing objectives and support in their delivery
Approach all marketing activity with a commitment to deliver positive supporter experiences and complete confidence in compliant data management
Implement marketing campaigns in response to humanitarian emergencies. This requires the post holder to be on call over some bank holidays and weekends
Experience
