About the Role

The Operations Manager will provide oversight across administration, compliance, governance, facilities and HR to ensure the Angelou Centre operates effectively and efficiently. You will ensure that the Centre is safe and welcoming for staff and service users, maintains compliant and efficient operational systems, and deliver key projects on time and to high standards.

This is a key leadership role requiring strong organisational, problem-solving, and people-management skills, with the ability to design and embed systems that strengthen our work and improve our workplace.

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has significant experience in an operations, administration, or HR role. Ideally within the charity sector.
• Has excellent knowledge of HR best practice within the UK, with experience within learning and development.
• Is excited to join The Angelou Centre during a period of growth, working strategically with the Executive Director to strengthen and improve HR practices.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills to develop and inspire staff teams, embedding a culture of learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Has lived experience of, or a deep understanding of, the structural inequalities from the perspective of Black and racialised women.

About the role

As Marketing Manager (Telemarketing & Regular Giving Growth), you will develop and deliver effective telemarketing and cross-channel campaigns to grow the value of our Regular Giving base. By understanding donor motivations, you will deliver campaigns that prompt action and drive income through upgrade, conversion, cross-sell, winback, reactivation, and stewardship activity.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary squad, collaborate closely with colleagues across Public Impact, and manage relationships with external agencies to deliver engaging, data-driven campaigns that keep our supporters at the heart of everything we do.

In this role, you will:

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to engage supporters and grow the lifetime value of our Regular Giving base, using data and insight to understand audience needs and motivations.
• Plan and deliver telemarketing campaigns with a multi-channel approach to achieve ambitious regular giving growth income and donor conversion targets.
• Drive upgrade, cross-sell, reactivation, winback and conversion telemarketing campaigns utilising Email, Direct Mail, and SMS, ensuring optimal performance and return on investment.
• Develop inspiring, audience-focused creative and calling guides, working with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality supporter experiences.
• Collaborate with data and insight teams to develop robust campaign selections, embedding test-and-learn principles to improve results.
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance, sharing insights and learnings to inform future activity.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Significant experience delivering telemarketing campaigns that grow existing customer or supporter value.
• Experience planning and delivering multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns, including Telemarketing, Direct Mail, Email, and SMS.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex campaigns on time and to budget.
• Experience managing external partners, including telemarketing and creative agencies, to deliver high-quality work.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Lead to play a vital role at the heart of our organisation. This is a senior, hands-on post that combines strategic oversight with day-to-day delivery across all core operational functions - including HR, governance, IT and data, finance administration, and internal systems. Rape Crisis South London (RCSL) is seeking a skilled, passionate, and professional Advocacy Manager to join our team and lead our ISVA and Casework department. 
 

As Advocacy Manager (maternity cover), you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality support services for survivors of sexual violence, particularly those engaging with or considering engagement with the criminal justice system. You will manage a team of ISVAs (Independent Sexual Violence Advocates), Caseworkers, and our Advocacy Operations Administrator, ensuring excellence in recruitment, induction, and training.
 

Reporting to the Director of Programmes, you will play a key leadership role within our organisation, working collaboratively with colleagues across our frontline services and our training and prevention teams.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker is a full-time post on a 12-month renewable contract, joining a small team at the JRS UK offices in Wapping, working closely with the Detention Outreach Manager.

The JRS UK Detention Outreach project supports individuals who are detained in the Heathrow Immigration Removal Centres (Harmondsworth and Colnbrook). This busy and varied role focuses on combining accompaniment, practical support, and assistance to those in immigration detention, especially those who are most vulnerable and struggle to self-advocate. The Detention Outreach Caseworker will make referrals to solicitors and partner organisations where appropriate and liaise with Immigration Services, detention centre staff and others as needed.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will occasionally support individuals who are released from, but continue to be affected by, immigration detention. Through relationships built across the NGO sector, they will refer individuals to local organisations who can most appropriately assist with reintegration into the community. They will provide in-depth and pro-active support to high-need individuals supported in detention who continue to require long-term accompaniment on release.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will be responsible for managing their own caseload and work closely with the Detention Outreach Manager to identify themes and trends arising from immigration detention to contribute to the organisations wider strategic work. The post-holder should have a good understanding of and empathy with the issues and challenges faced by asylum-seekers and refugees, with particular focus on immigration detention. They will need highly developed listening skills, personal resilience and emotional maturity to respond to the emotional and practical needs of asylum seekers, accompanying them and supporting them to positively progress with their lives. They need to have and maintain an up-to-date knowledge about the immigration and asylum context as it relates to our work in immigration detention.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will be enthusiastic about working in a small faith-based organisation and have a willingness to integrate JRS UK’s ethos of accompaniment in their approach whilst also demonstrating sensitivity in responding to the needs of destitute and detained individuals. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills. They will work flexibly as a member of the team and organisation and undertake other reasonable duties and responsibilities as needed.

The Press and Public Affairs Manager role is an opportunity to join our dynamic and fast-paced team working on issues at the top of the political agenda.

About the role

We are seeking a Stakeholder Engagement and Comms Manager

The National Safeguarding Team provides professional safeguarding advice to the Church of England on matters of national policy as part of its wider transformation plan, which includes the development and implementation of national policy, training, quality assurance and audit, and work with survivors. The national safeguarding team also leads complex casework and supports dioceses in their safeguarding of children and adults.

The Redress Scheme project is part of the Church of England's Safeguarding Programme, which aims to embed structure, quality assurance and continuous improvement in line with its Safeguarding principles. Following the Church of England's recently approval of a comprehensive redress scheme for survivors of Church-related abuse, the project is now moving into the implementation phase, and we are looking for a new member of the team to help us prepare for the opening the Scheme.

The role will work with multiple NCI departments involving, for example, HR & Payroll, Finance & Resources, Legal, among many others as well as Safeguarding Bishops and Safeguarding teams of the Church of England in support to the mission of the Church of England and this Programme's in particular, as well as external stakeholders, including the media. To assist this project, there is a requirement for a Stakeholder Engagement and Comms Manager role to be performed by a specialist with relevant experience and expertise.

What you'll be doing

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Church's Redress Scheme. This high-profile project requires a strategic communicator and relationship-builder who can lead engagement efforts across the wider Church and National Church Institutions (NCI) staff, ensuring clarity, sensitivity, and impact in all communications.

As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communications strategy, acting as the face of the programme and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed, consulted, and supported throughout the Scheme's development and launch.

Summary of main responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement across diocesan and cathedral safeguarding teams, NCI staff, and external media.
• Develop and deliver a multi-channel communications and engagement strategy.
• Build stakeholder knowledge and capacity to support effective communication and collaboration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder enquiries and engagement.
• Facilitate meetings and consultations, including with volunteer survivors to inform messaging.
• Maintain and update project FAQs and key messaging documents.
• Liaise with the National Communications Team to manage media strategy and press engagement.
• Coordinate out-of-hours media responses via dedicated mobile (as agreed).
• Monitor and report on engagement progress, risks, and feedback to governance boards.
• Create awareness campaign materials and oversee their release in line with Scheme launch.

Key Role Requirements

• Fixed-term contract until June 2026.
• A basic DBS check will be required as part of our pre-employment checks.
• This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work from the office location 1-3 days per week.

Your Salary

• A salary of £59,248 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

We're looking for an efficient, friendly Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our award-winning charity.  The team is based at our busy community centre from where it offers a range of services from community meals, art classes to gardening services and digital support.  We support older and disabled people living in Fulham, London.  Much of our work is delivered by volunteers, so this post is critical to our service delivery. You will recruit, induct, and coordinate volunteers; including leading our Good Neighbours Scheme and Befriending Scheme and supporting the recruitment for all other projects. 

About you: You will have experience of volunteering and in coordinating volunteers or staff, and have strong organisational and communication skills. You will be pro-active and diligent and able to solve problems as they arise. You will be a 'first point of contact' for people getting in touch with FGN, and so you will have a welcoming, and compassionate demeanour and be able to represent FGN at events (partnership meetings, volunteer recruitment drives, fairs, etc).  You will enjoy working with older people and those with disabilities.

The role is based at our community centre in Fulham, Rosaline Hall (70 Rosaline Rd, SW6 7QT) with WFH potentially available for 1/5 of working hours.Hours: 9am - 5pm - Monday to Friday. 35 hours per week. Hospital Carer Navigator – Airedale General Hospital

As a Carer Navigator you will identify and address the needs of unpaid carers whilst the person they care for is in hospital. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting carers through listening, advising, and advocating for them in the hospital setting, liaising closely with health and social care staff in the hospital.  You will be working alongside hospital and social care staff to improve patient flow and support a timely and positive experience of hospital discharge.

Additionally, you’ll engage in outreach work to promote our services.

This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact carers’ lives while collaborating with local partners and working within a dedicated team. Your efforts will contribute to building a supportive community and fostering awareness about the crucial role of carers in society.

You will be based at Airedale General Hospital, with some working from our Shipley office.  It is a requirement of the role to work Monday-Friday. There may be some occasional weekend working.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Based across 4 residential services based in Croydon (11 minute walk from East Croydon station) you will need to be able to travel between sites during the night shift to provide full managerial support. Access to own transport is ideal. Please note that unfortunately this service does not have step free access

Salary: £30,200

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, supporting the night team who predominantly work Monday to Sunday 20:00 - 08:00, you will work within these hours, as well as daytime hours to attend trainings and meetings. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota.

About the role

We're looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will support the Service Manager to provide leadership and line management to a team of Night Recovery Workers and Night Concierge which totals around 10. You will be present to ensure a quality service is delivered 24 hours a day, working closely with the day teams to ensure quality handovers. 

You will provide general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles, supporting a service which focuses on Forensic Mental Health for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. The teams support our residents with person centred support to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, and have greater independence and fulfilled living. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Line Management including providing support and guidance, conducting support and supervisions, and ensuring duties are carried out effectively
• Support with the operational delivery of the service
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
• Property and Housing Management; ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements and is safe to live in

About you

We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated individual to lead the service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. You will have knowledge around the Mental Health complexities that residents can face, and have a can-do attitude which can help empower the team to deliver their KPI's. We look for:

• Experience in working with people who have enduring mental health and complex backgrounds
• Ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve KPI's
• Ability to provide advice, guidance, and support to the team on all aspects of service delivery including resident related queries
• Willingness and ability to work flexibly to meet service needs
• IT proficiency - we use various systems so look for someone who can learn and navigate new systems including case management, microsoft, ATS, HR systems, and other types of organisational software

We are seeking a dedicated Philanthropy Officer who will help sustain and grow the organisation’s income. This involves managing timelines for applications and reports, writing high-quality proposals and impact reports (often in collaboration with colleagues in policy, science, communications, and finance), and researching new funding opportunities. 

The role also includes maintaining strong relationships with existing funders by providing timely updates outside of formal reporting, and leading on the drafting of the organisation’s annual report to clearly communicate achievements and impact.

CHEM Trust’s overarching aim is to prevent synthetic chemicals from causing long-term damage to wildlife and people by ensuring that chemicals which cause such harm are substituted with safer alternatives.

Currently, we are primarily funded by trusts and foundations and are very successful, raising significant funds to facilitate the sustained growth of the organisation and our reserves.  We have an ethical funding policy, and it is imperative that we maintain our independence and science-based approach.

Key Duties

• Fundraising activity – preparing compelling and bespoke proposals tailored to donor requirements, ensuring effective stewardship of charitable trust and foundation major gifts within CHEM Trust’s portfolio by building relationships and providing on-time reports and updates.
• Working cross-organisationally, to ensure relevant information is obtained from CHEM Trust’ team members in a timely fashion to report to funders in advance of deadlines.
• Timeline management – keeping an accurate track of the necessary reporting and application deadlines and ensuring these are communicated in good time to relevant team members.
• Developing relationships and networking – including excellent donor stewardship to existing funders and using events, meetings, talks and inspirational writing to help charitable trusts learn about CHEM Trust’s work and understand the difference we are making.
• Recording and maintaining accurate funding data, ensuring records are kept and effectively managed and that CHEM Trust’s fundraising team operates within GDPR.
• Good team working - daily interaction with the fundraising team, wider CHEM Trust team, funding partners and others, plus possible interaction with trustees.
• Leading on the writing of the annual report, tailoring it to be a key document that prospective funders can use to get a succinct overview of CHEM Trust’s vision, goals, and achievements.
