ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join our central HR team. You’ll support a group of academies, providing expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations and workforce initiatives, while contributing to projects that shape the future of education.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of a generalist HR advisory service to the Federation and our Academies, providing up to date and informed HR guidance and support on HR policies, processes and systems
- Providing professional advice and support to Federation and Academy leaders in all areas of HR practice and employee relations such as grievance, disciplinary, performance management and sickness absence management, escalating complex cases as appropriate to the Head of HR and HR Business Partners
- Supporting the HR Business Partner with organisation change programmes including redundancy, restructuring and TUPE transfers; preparing documents, supporting planning, due diligence completion etc.
- Participating in the development and delivery of HR policy skills workshops for line managers and academy HR
- Assisting with end-to-end employee lifecycle and payroll processes
- Preparing HR documents and create and maintain templates
- Producing management information reports
- Evaluating job descriptions and providing advice and guidance on salary bandings to ensure a consistent and fair approach
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Your job responsibilities will include:
Apprentice Lifecycle Management
- Onboarding & Induction: Co-ordinate the smooth induction of all new apprentices, ensuring they receive necessary documentation, program details, and are integrated into their respective teams.
- Administration: Maintain and quality assure all apprentice records, training agreements, and learning plans, in accordance with the apprenticeship funding rules.
- Compliance: Monitor and track apprentice progress against milestones, funding requirements, and End-Point Assessment (EPA) readiness, ensuring all programs comply with DfE, Ofsted, and Awarding Body regulations.
- Off-the-Job Training: Monitor and track the accurate recording of Off-the-Job training hours for all apprentices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
- Apprentice Support: Act as the first point of contact for apprentices, offering guidance, support, and signposting to relevant resources regarding their well-being, training, and workplace issues.
- Liaison: Build and maintain effective working relationships with Employers, internal line managers, and mentors to ensure consistent program delivery and feedback.
- Meetings: Ensure that all progress review meetings are being held and attended to, ensuring that outcomes are documented and follow up on agreed actions.

Our organisational income has grown consistently year on year since we registered in 2018. Working within the New Models of Care (NMOC) framework, our team delivers trauma-informed, recovery-oriented interventions that support individuals from their first days in custody through to release and resettlement. We work hand-in-hand with healthcare partners to ensure every service user receives holistic, person-centred support.
What You’ll Do
As our Peer Supporter Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind peer-led, lived-experience initiatives across the prison. Your role will include:
- Recruiting, training, and supervising peer supporters and mentors
- Empowering peer supporters to deliver interventions and wellbeing initiatives across all prison wings
- Promoting engagement in recovery pathways and strengthening service-user involvement
- Building effective links between the substance misuse service, healthcare teams, prison staff, and service users
- Supporting the continued development of the Peer Supporter programme in partnership with healthcare providers

Role Purpose
The Head of Policy and Advocacy will lead the strategic development and delivery of MCF’s policy, advocacy and research agenda. The role involves shaping long-term strategy, building a robust evidence base, influencing government and policymakers, and representing MCF at senior levels across the charity, public and political sectors.
The postholder will engage proactively with central and local government, devolved authorities, and regional mayors, ensuring that the voices and experiences of Muslim-led organisations are represented in policy development and decision-making.
They will work collaboratively with MCF’s Communications, Partnerships, and Systemic Change and Sector Capacity teams to ensure a coordinated and strategic approach that delivers sustainable, long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy and Leadership

Develop and deliver the next three-year Policy and Advocacy Strategy aligned with MCF’s organisational objectives.

Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board on policy opportunities and risks.

Lead and develop the Policy and Advocacy team, fostering a high-performing, inclusive and collaborative culture.
2. Policy, Research and Insight

Monitor and analyse UK policy and regulatory developments affecting Muslim-led civil society.

Oversee research, consultations and data-driven insight to inform MCF’s policy positions.

Produce high-quality policy outputs, including reports, consultation responses and position statements.
3. Influencing and Stakeholder Engagement

Lead MCF’s engagement with central government, local authorities, devolved administrations and regional mayors, as well as regulators and sector networks.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with ministers, parliamentarians, senior officials, think tanks and sector leaders.

Coordinate MCF’s public affairs activity, including roundtables, Select Committee and APPG engagement, and representation at high-level external forums.

4. Sector Capacity and Member Support

Engage MCF’s members and Muslim-led organisations in collective policy development and advocacy.

The role
We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to help us maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment in our Grade 1 listed building near St James’ Park SW1.
The role holder will be primarily responsible for providing effective and efficient support for the running and maintenance of our prestigious building, responding to facilities issues as they arise along with the operation and administration of hard and soft services.
You will support the Health and Safety functions, run the Facilities Help Desk and manage the CAFM system, amongst other day-to-day responsibilities. You will contribute to establishing best practice and work under the supervision and guidance of the Operations and Facilities Manager to ensure adherence to regulatory, statutory requirements and best practice guidance.
We are looking for a proactive team player with great communication skills. You will need to be well-organised, able to prioritise your own workload and show flexibility in meeting the needs of the team.

We are excited to be looking for someone with expertise in high value fundraising communications and project management to join our growing Philanthropy and Partnerships team. What will I be doing?

- Create and maintain a suite of clear and compelling written and designed communications including funding propositions, toolkits and cases for support to secure six and seven figure gifts from high value audiences.
- Coordinate stewardship moments across Philanthropy and Partnerships aligned to key calendar events throughout the year.
- Being responsible for development and overseeing an exciting stewardship and cultivation strategy and action plan for newly identified and top prospects, designed to support the delivery of targets and KPIs around high value fundraising development and income growth.

This includes keeping internal teams informed about donor impact, sharing updates through meetings and internal channels, and responding promptly to requests for information. As a Talent Partner you will provide proactive customer-focused administrative support across Recruitment, HR, and Learning & Development. You will drive process improvements and ensure efficient service delivery.
The starting salary for this role is £29,784.51, increasing to £30,784.51 after successfully passing probation.
The shift pattern for this role is Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm, including hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the office.
This is a fixed term contract until 1st April 2026.

Learning and Development Officer

Position: Learning and Development Officer (known internally as Talent Academy Officer)
Location: London/Hybrid working (two days a week in the London office/White City, combined with home-working and frequent travel across the Youth Zone network as required)
Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
As a pioneering and growing charity, the award-winning Talent Academy has grown from strength to strength, expanding employee development programmes and supporting staff learning and growth at all levels, from part time youth workers to Board members and everyone in between.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with high profile stakeholders, trainers and learners, helping to implement excellent learning and development activities, both established and new.
Supported by the Talent Academy team, you will be the central co-ordinator of all Talent Academy activity, managing a variety of programmes, with lots of opportunity for your own growth and development. It is a busy and varied role involving events management, co-design and, in some instances, co-delivery. The role would suit someone at Officer level or an L&D Assistant looking to move up.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the learning and development of all people with an excellent understanding of L&D activities and processes.
You will have:
- Demonstrable experience of working within an L&D role
- Experience of end-end co-ordination and management of learning programmes
- Experience of communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior teams
- High level knowledge of and skill with various Office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience of producing accurate reports and analytics
