Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for a Junior Reporting Analyst to join our Service Delivery team in a newly created position.
We have recently implemented a new ITSM tool which provides lots of raw data, which we would now like to process, analyse and use to make decisions across our Digital and Technology division.
We are looking for a Junior Reporting Analyst who is confident working with data sets, is analytical in their approach and enjoys creating data backed suggestions around saving and making money, achieving charity objectives and reducing risk for Age UK.
This role offers hybrid working, where you'll spend 2/3 days a week on-site in either our London, Ashburton, Warrington or Blackpool office. The rest of time is spent working remotely.
Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Must haves:
Data Analysis Skills:
* Proficiency in SQL: You'll have some experience or an understanding of how to retrieve, manipulate, and analyse data from relational databases. SQL is fundamental for creating accurate and insightful reports.
* Excel: You understand how to use Excel for data organization, analysis, and visualization. Features like formulas, charts, and pivot tables are crucial.
Technical Competence:
* Power BI: You'll have some experience or an understanding of how to use Power BI to develop dashboards, predict performance, and automate reporting processes.
* As a reporting analyst you'll deal with large datasets. Being meticulous ensures accuracy and high-quality work.
Analytical Mindset:
* Critical Thinking: You'll evaluate data objectively and identify trends.
* Problem-Solving Skills: You'll have an understanding of the importance of being able to analyse complex issues and work with your team to devise appropriate reporting strategies.
Communication Skills:
* You'll work with your team to translate data into understandable insights for stakeholders.
* You'll present findings effectively through written reports and verbal communication
Business Acumen:
* You understand the importance getting to know the context and goals of the business. This will help you to align your reporting with organisational objectives.
Continuous Learning:
* You are self-motivated and stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques.
* You'll engage with communities, practice regularly, and explore new features
Great to haves:
* Tableau: Familiarity with Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
* Python or R: Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or R can enhance your analytical capabilities.
* VBA (Visual Basic for Applications): Learn to automate tasks within Excel using VBA1.

The Press and Media Relations Officer represents the work of SCIE, acting as the point of contact for members of the press and other media representatives. The post holder is responsible for maintaining the profile and reputation of the charity and helping to achieve our influencing objectives with policymakers and leaders in the social care sector. About the role:
As a Housing Domestic Abuse Advocate, you will provide intervention, advocacy, and support to survivors of domestic abuse. Working within a fast-paced team, you will help empower women and ensure that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. You will have your own caseload of survivors who hold social tenancies with local authorities or housing associations, and you will encourage them to engage with our service and ensure they have access to support. You will also co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support which focuses on working with domestic abuse survivors to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.
About You:
To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You will bring solid experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms; coming from a sector with transferrable skills or possess a feminist/VAWG degree and be keen to learn and to train on the job. You will have a good understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families, and communities. You will have proven skills and experience in conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse, including carrying out short risk management and safety planning. We will expect that you have experience in assessing the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have and an understanding of the criminal justice system and relevant legislation with regard to legal and civil options, housing, benefits, matrimonial and children. Lastly you will bring your knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures, and legislation.
With many skills and qualities to add to this role, if you have good IT literacy, data collection and monitoring these skills are maximised in your role. If you have experience or have been trained or are qualified in the fields related to substance misuse, criminal jusice, law, social work or domestic abuse we would love to hear from you.

About the role:
We are excited to be taking the lead in the London Whole Housing Service Partnership (LWHSP) which will address and enhance the pathways of housing support for women experiencing domestic abuse, from removing them from immediate harm, to enabling recovery and resettlement across all levels of need. The LWHSP are seeking to build on our delivery across 11 East and West London boroughs of the Whole Housing Approach (WHA).
The Housing IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will specialise in working with clients for whom housing, and risk of tenancy breakdown is a factor. You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. You will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
About You:
As a Housing IDVA, you will need to have a degree of flexibility for colocation work across London boroughs; providing support to women who have experienced domestic violence, focusing on individuals with housing or tenancy issues. Working in our fast-paced crisis intervention, advocacy and support service, you’ll ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will have your own caseload of survivors and will focus on working with those aged 18 and over who access our domestic abuse service.
You will bring experience in providing independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women who approach housing advice and assessment for help. Ideally experience in working with housing service providers, and advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies. You will have the ability to develop individual safety and support plans in-line with the clients’ needs and the risks they face.
