The post holder will help to champion and manage the PAPYRUS brand and support the delivery of our projects and services through developing engaging and targeted content. They will act as the day-to-day lead on our social media planning and scheduling, as well as blog writing and storytelling.
What you will do:
Lead on the PAPYRUS social media planning and scheduling, utilising a social media management suite such as Hootsuite, or similar.
Support the day to day running of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and YouTube), using these to promote our services, increase brand awareness and drive engagement with our audiences;
Lead on maintaining and creating content for the PAPYRUS website and blog, collating stories from people with lived experience of suicide, as well as other charity staff and stakeholders.
Develop the charity’s online presence by exploring new opportunities and channels to appeal to different audiences;
Produce creative designs and artwork for print and digital requirements, utilising in-house design tools and software (including Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva);
To be successful in this role you will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Social media marketing campaign experience
A natural flair for storytelling, with the ability to create compelling, informative written content promoting the voices of lived experience.
Good project management skills and ability to manage reactive and planned work

Salary: £29,269 per annum (Scale SCP 18) progressing by increments to £32,076 per annum (Scale SCP 23) If based in the London office, you will receive an additional cost of living allowance of £5,000 per annum.

I disseminate our messages and information to key audiences through clear and engaging social media posts that are tailored for different networks. I monitor the performance of our posts and I am proactive in incorporating best practice to ensure that our posts are well received by our audiences, and that our presence on our social media channels grows.
I regularly collaborate with colleagues across both charities, and the other founding charities of Mental Health UK, and key partners to create compelling and inspiring content.

About the role
This is an exciting role to work with Sustrans as part of the Liveable Cities and Towns Team to increase the impact of our behaviour change work within schools across Southeast Wales.
The role involves promoting active travel (cycling, scooting and walking) to school age children, parents and staff at selected primary and secondary schools to reduce the number of pupils who are driven to school.
This exciting challenge will include working directly with local primary and secondary schools, working with relevant stakeholders, the provision of guidance and training to school staff and the delivery of practical activities to parents and pupils.
Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected to nominated schools across the region.
About you
With experience of working in a school setting with children and young people, of delivering skills training and of partnership working within a range of capabilities, you will have the ability to build strong working relationships.
Your enthusiasm will be motivational to others and your excellent written and verbal communication will complement your strong organisational and planning skills.
IT literacy is essential as is an understanding of school settings and the health benefits of active travel. You will also be committed to active travel and the promotion of sustainable transport.

The British Society for Immunology (BSI) is recruiting a permanent full-time Senior Marketing & Communications Officer to deliver engaging communications to a variety of audiences to drive the reach and influence of the Society’s work.
The British Society for Immunology is an influential and authoritative voice for immunology, a key scientific and health field that plays a central role in many of the most pressing global health challenges we face, including research into the COVID-19 pandemic, developing new treatments and vaccines against disease, and supporting ageing populations to experience healthier lives for longer. This role is split equally between supporting activities of the BSI and those of our publishing portfolio. On the BSI side, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our marketing and communications activity through a variety of channels. Activities can include promoting our membership offering to immunologists working in academia, industry and the clinical sector, promoting key activities such as our events or training offerings, and supporting initiatives to raise the importance and influence of immunology. On publishing, you will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful marketing activities to increase submissions and readership of our official journals, Clinical & Experimental Immunology, Immunotherapy Advances and Discovery Immunology, in particular building the reputation of our newer Open Access journals

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans, the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity. We are looking for a highly organised individual to provide co-ordination and administrative support for Sustrans-wide business development systems, activities.
As the Business Development Officer, you will support colleagues across the organisation bidding for tenders and grant funding, by helping to guide bid submissions through a series of steps, from initial assessment to submission to funder decision.
In this role you will support Project Officers and Senior Managers with all aspects of bid preparation including checking for compliance, proof reading and formatting.
This role requires you to be proactive in researching new potential funding sources and monitoring grant and tender alerts; and you will be expected to manage and further develop a suite of bidding resources.
You will work from a Sustrans office, preferably in Bristol, with the flexibility to work from home, or home-based within reasonable travelling distance from Bristol.
About you
Experienced in providing administrative support and coordinating work in a busy environment, you will be able to communicate and build relationships easily, enabling you to engage with multiple teams and work effectively with colleagues across the organisation.
You will be highly organised, comfortable multi-tasking and working to deadlines, with excellent attention to detail. You’ll use your excellent planning skills to help anticipate and manage potential issues before they arise.
You will have experience of using business development management, client/customer relationship management or contact systems. Ideally you will be familiar with tender procurement portals, grant funding websites and funding sources.

Main Conditions of Service
This is a part time position. The post is for 22.5 hours per week. It is expected that the hours will be delivered on 3 full days (to be agreed) each week but alternative arrangements, ie 4.5 hours per day for 5 days, may be acceptable. ELSC is an initiative of the Palestinian NGO Network, comprising 200 Palestinian civil society organisations, developed in response to the widespread repression in Europe of advocacy for Palestinian rights. Founded in January 2019, we provide free legal advice and assistance to individuals who face unjust smears, disciplinary investigations, criminal sanctions and other repressive measures aimed at shrinking the space for Palestinian rights advocacy in mainland Europe and Britain. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Solicitor will lead our legal team in Britain and oversee our cases in England and Wales.
The role requires a qualified solicitor with experience of running litigious cases. Our main practice areas in Britain are: (i) public law and human rights; (ii) employment and discrimination and (iii) defamation law. The post-holder will have particular expertise in one of these areas. Our cases also involve data rights, freedom of information, criminal law, actions against the police, charity law, education law, international humanitarian law, and immigration issues.

Required experience, knowledge and skills

A focus of this role is producing, promoting and quality assuring content that gets more people on to our programmes; builds awareness, understanding and positive perceptions of our brand; and helps the education sector to understand the value of high quality, evidence-based professional development. You’ll support others to do the same too.
We’re looking for a collaborative and proactive communicator who can work with stakeholders to create brilliant content; deliver a high-quality experience for audiences on our social media channels; and help everyone to use our brand well.

We would like you to:
- Manage our social media accounts day-to-day: monitoring and responding to engagement; producing and quality assuring excellent content for key moments; scheduling posts; and boosted content campaigns.
- Maintain, produce and develop brand assets including merchandise designs, templates, guidance, visuals, photography and videography.
- Act as a content business partner for your assigned programmes and areas: establish effective relationships and ways of working with stakeholders, taking ownership of content planning, production, promotion and maintenance.
- Lead projects and carry out ad hoc tasks to drive the continual improvement of our brand, content, social media and team operations.
Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office and will report to the Brand and Content Associate Director. In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a month, in addition to team days and this may be reviewed by Ambition.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
To succeed in this role you'll be a strong copywriter with the ability to adapt and adhere to the Ambition tone of voice and style guide. It is essential that you have experience in creating content in a range of formats and for a range of channels. Whilst it would be desirable for you to have design skills with experience of using InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop, this is not essential for the role.
