Are you passionate about improving processes and creating a positive employee experience?

Do you enjoy turning ideas into practical solutions that help services perform at their best?

Do you want to make a meaningful contribution to the workforce behind a life-changing service?

If yes, then we'd love to hear from you.

  • Sustainable Travel: Cycle to work scheme and season ticket loans.
  • Career Development: Ongoing training and support with opportunities for career progression.

About the Role

As Project Leader - Workforce Development, Recruitment & Onboarding, you'll lead and coordinate recruitment, onboarding and workforce development activity across the Safe Horizons Pan-London Domestic Abuse Service. You'll work closely with managers to attract and retain talented staff, support new starters through induction and probation, and help develop processes that strengthen the employee experience and workforce effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating recruitment campaigns and supporting managers through the recruitment process.
  • Leading onboarding, induction and probation activity for new starters.
  • Ensuring pre-employment checks and safer recruitment requirements are completed.
  • Developing resources, guidance and processes to support workforce development.
  • Monitoring workforce data and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Building effective relationships with operational managers, HR and corporate teams.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, workforce development or a related role.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience of reviewing and improving processes and ways of working.
  • Confidence using data and reporting information to support decision-making.

Experience within the domestic abuse, victim support, charity, criminal justice, public or wider social care sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
