You have the entrepreneurial confidence to build something new, the strategic thinking to identify opportunities, and the relationship skills to turn those opportunities into sustainable partnerships. You're equally comfortable developing pricing models and financial projections as you are crafting compelling partnership proposals.

Role Mission.
To ensure Scotty’s delivers high-quality, consistent, and scalable support to those affected by military-connected bereavement, by leading all aspects of service delivery.
You’ll own the structure, systems, standards, and team needed to deliver support across all four Family Programmes (SMILES, SUPPORT, STRIDES, and the planned START programme) and help ensure our support reaches the growing number of families who need us.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Programme Operations & Service Infrastructure
- Overall accountability for the service provided to the bereaved military community.
- Leading, and working closely with, the Head of each delivery Programme to ensure all activities are impactful and meeting the needs of our community.
- Mapping and maintaining the full beneficiary journey across all programmes and cohorts (CYP and adult).
- Developing our first adult focused services and building them in line with the charity’s long-term vision to be supporting more than 25k bereaved people by 2035.
- Being the link between our service delivery and both internal and external technology partners to ensure our systems match, and meet the needs of, our processes.
- Alongside our Operations Team, lead the scoping of a full future CRM (Salesforce) rebuild and related beneficiary tech interfaces such as websites, future app development etc.
- Oversee the design of a 2026 ‘light’ CRM phase to support individual adult service delivery.
- Ensure that lived experience remains at the heart of our services.
- Accountability for Safeguarding within the organisation.
Team Leadership
- Support Programme Leads (e.g. Heads of START, SMILES, SUPPORT), providing direction and support as well as ensuring clarity of ownership and goals.

External Partnerships & Collaborations

- Ensure the new START (single point of contact) Programme becomes an active network-builder in the space.
- Represent Scotty’s externally at events, conferences, meetings etc within the sector.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key link to Outreach and Fundraising — providing insight and service stories to fuel content.
- Work with the Ops team to align delivery processes with systems, IT, and compliance.
- Support bid development and reporting for funders by sharing service insight and outcomes.
The 30-day goals for this role are:
- Build a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction.

As Product Manager HOSTHub Lead, you will drive the vision, design, and delivery of HOSTHub, HOST’s secure digital platform for global civil society operations.

Role Summary
This is an exciting role for someone with a passion for leading data-driven, insight-led service design and delivery, and for a person who loves to champion best practice in data management and governance. In this role you will contribute to improving the experiences and outcomes of the women who access our Women’s Centres and Services, and by listening to and learning from women, you will utilise insight to drive organisational and systemic change.
You will lead on the strategic use of data and insights, embedding best practice in data collection methods and gender-specific assessment tools, with a focus on the Women’s Risk Needs Assessment (WRNA) and the Gendered Wellbeing Assessment (GWA). You will deliver robust and meaningful operational and strategic reporting; regular and accessible management information to support effective service delivery; regular performance monitoring and reporting to commissioners and funders; and further develop the ways we demonstrate our impact and share stories of change.
You will lead operational delivery of our data systems, to ensure robust data governance, compliance and ongoing technical implementation and optimisation. This role is critical to embedding a culture of data-driven decision making, using insight to support high quality service delivery, and to drive long term systemic change through key research projects. You will work closely with our WRNA Project Manager and the wider Management team to embed learnings from the Effective Women’s Centres Partnership and support our ongoing contribution to University of Birmingham long term research into women’s experience of the criminal justice system, helping to shape the development of evidence-based policy and best practice across the Women’s sector in the UK.
You will work closely and line manage the Data and Impact Analyst to ensure robust training programmes are in place, to support our staff teams to effectively and efficiently utilise our data tools and systems, and to embed data management best practice. You will also work together to embed our involvement and lived experience strategy, ensuring women’s voices and insight are at the heart of our service delivery models.
The role will also provide leadership on data protection and organisational Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsibilities, and will work closely with our Information Governance Lead.
Key accountabilities
Data Systems Oversight and Leadership:
- Work with EWC partners, The JABBS Foundation and University of Birmingham to support the final design phases of a specialist, bespoke case management system (CMS), to ensure it meets the needs of Together Women, and our sister organisations within the Effective Women’s Centres Partnership.
- Roll out the implementation and adoption of the new CMS, to include data migration, staff training programmes, and new reporting suites and dashboards.
- Provide strategic CMS oversight to ensure the system continues to meet organisational needs and lead planning for CMS development projects including upgrades, integrations and enhancements.
- Monitor and assess future CMS system needs, scoping and identifying development areas.
- Contribute to budget planning, including CMS ongoing costs and development projects, and ensuring activities are delivered within agreed resources.
- Work closely with Senior Management and wider Management team on future projects relating to updates or changes to the CMS system.
Data Leadership and Governance:
- Develop a Data and Impact Strategy to align with organisational priorities.
- Lead on data governance and UK GDPR compliance, including data governance policies, DPIAs, information sharing agreements, SARs, and ongoing breach and information security risk management.
- Support the implementation and ongoing review of data policies, ROPA documentation, data security protocols, and internal staff training.
- Provide assurance to the Senior Management team on data compliance, reporting risks and mitigating actions.
- Ensure staff understand their data responsibilities, build data capability and a strong data protection culture through training, guidance and fostering data confidence and accountability.
Insights, Analysis and Performance:
- Lead the provision of insights, analysis, and performance reporting, and embed a culture of insight-led decision making across the charity.
- Support the ongoing development of our involvement and lived experience insight workstream, and further establish our ability to co-design and co-produce our service offer.
- Evidence our impact and performance within contractual monitoring reports, and contribute to future funding bids and tenders to secure commissioning arrangements.
- Produce clear, interpretable reports for internal and external stakeholders, as required.
- Produce clear management information and performance reports on both outputs and outcomes, and enable Managers to articulate stories of change, drive continuous improvement and demonstrate the quality of our work.
- Develop a performance framework to monitor progress of the implementation of Together Women’s strategy, and prepare reports to inform Trustees of progress made.
- Support senior leaders with data-driven planning, presenting insights in accessible ways.
- Conduct ongoing data analysis to identify improvement opportunities, risks and issues.
Team Leadership and Collaborative working:
- Line manage the Data and Impact Analyst, providing support, direction, coaching, workload prioritisation and professional development opportunities.
- Take a hands-on role in data processing to support the day-to-day delivery of the data function, ensuring operational resilience. Contribute to the immediate data management requirements as well as leading on the longer-term data strategy.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Together Women to align data activities with organisational objectives and mission.
- Work closely with key external stakeholders and maintain excellent relationships with key partners through collaborative, mutually beneficial working practice.
- Attend regular meetings and networking opportunities relating to the Effective Women’s Centres Project, and associated networks and events.
Quality Assurance and Contribution to research:
- Ensure data collection, management and storage processes are standardised and consistent across all our services.
- Embed the Women’s Risk Needs Assessment and Gendered Wellbeing Assessment as Together Women’s default assessment tools.
- Support Master Trainers to embed WRNA and GWA certifications across all frontline staff teams.
- Work closely with colleagues to develop a new Quality Assurance (QA) audit process and embed this into Together Women’s work.
- Identify and resolve problems that may affect the achievement of research objectives and deadlines, and escalate where necessary.
- Uphold the principles of ethical research, particularly with regard to consent and confidentiality.
- Carry out administrative tasks related directly to the delivery of the research.

International Finance Manager

Role Purpose
As International Finance Manager, you will work alongside the UK Finance Manager overseeing the full lifecycle of all financial transactions with particular focus on funder grants managed through HOST — across both Project Hosting and Hosted Grantmaking services. You’ll ensure every grant is managed with accuracy, compliance, and care so that funds reach the world’s change-makers safely, transparently, and on time.
You will be responsible for ensuring that funder requirements, hosted partner needs, and HOST’s financial integrity align seamlessly. This means managing due diligence, contracting, reporting, and financial monitoring for all funder grants — whether they are received on behalf of a single hosted partner or distributed through multi-grant programmes.
Working at the heart of the Delivery Circle, you’ll collaborate with the Partnerships, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure HOST’s grant management systems are reliable, scalable, and trusted — enabling funders and movements alike to focus on what matters most: delivering impact.
Core Responsibilities
1. Grant Lifecycle Management (Project Hosting & Hosted Grantmaking)

Manage the end-to-end administration of all funder grants, from due diligence and contracting to financial tracking, reporting, and closure.

As part of the NFCC People Culture and Leadership (PCL) Hub this post plays a key role in supporting and enabling fire and rescue services (FRS) to drive organisational and culture change.
The postholder will use their subject matter knowledge, skills and experience alongside the principles of project management to support the design, development and implementation of a range of PCL products and services. Whilst the role supports all PCL activities, the role will have a focus on Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)-related projects, therefore experience in this area is particularly desirable. Moreover we require someone with relevant knowledge and experience in one or more fields of the people/HR/OD/EDI profession.
Evaluating the effectiveness of the NFCC’s PCL products and their benefits to FRS’s will be a key aspect of the role and the postholder will undertake a range of evaluation activities to identify improvements and make recommendations for improvement. They will be responsible for implementing agreed changes and maintaining PCL products to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose.

Senior Communications Manager
FCDO Research Commissioning Centre (3ie)
1. Background
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) Research Commissioning Centre (RCC) has been established to commission and manage research to enhance development and foreign policy impact. The RCC, co-led by the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) and the University of Birmingham, provides support to FCDO teams for commissioning and delivering high-quality and impactful research. It addresses challenges associated with research bureaucracy by providing a streamlined process for commissioning and delivering FCDO-funded research.
This role is based at 3ie, working closely with colleagues at the FCDO, University of Birmingham and across the RCC consortium. This is a fixed-term position for the RCC, which is a pilot project that began on the 6th June, 2023, and is due to run until the 5th June, 2028. The role is linked directly to the project funding.
The International Initiative of Impact Evaluation is a mission-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to using evidence to transform people's lives in low- and middle-income countries. 2. Position summary
3ie is inviting applications for a Senior Communications Manager to join the FCDO Research Commissioning Centre (RCC) team at 3ie. With the RCC entering its third year of operation, this is an exciting time to join the project.
The role will be responsible for the strategic management of RCC communications and for the oversight and management of the Global Research and Technology Development (GRTD) website . The position will work closely with the team of the FCDO Chief Scientific Adviser and FCDO’s Deputy Head of Research to support the development and rollout of GRTD, suiting a strategic thinker with experience or knowledge of leading communications and engagement campaigns.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised, skilled communicator with excellent command over producing a range of communication and knowledge products such as blogs, policy briefs, infographics, impact stories and case studies, as well as editing technical writing. Prior experience in social media and event management, is desirable. They will be a self-starter with a can-do, team-player attitude.
The ideal candidate will be based in the UK and have the flexibility to travel to London for in-person meetings and events as required. The candidate will need to work according to UK office hours. The role will largely be remote working with dedicated in-person time with the RCC team and with FCDO.
3. Key job responsibilities
a) GRTD website development oversight and strategy; FCDO GRTD communications, branding and development
- Work with FCDO to develop a coherent strategy and campaign for engaging with and communicating GRTD to external partners. Manage the relationship with FCDO communications counterparts in delivering the vision for GRTD
- Lead engagement with FCDO to determine design of enhancements and new features for GRTD; oversee these developments, managing external contractors (when required) and working with technical colleagues to ensure developments are fit for purpose
- Collaborate with FCDO teams to support the rollout and visibility of the GRTD brand
- Contribute to the development and implementation of editorial standards, templates, and guidance for GRTD content, in coordination with FCDO and RCC stakeholders
- Assist in the dissemination of impact stories and research outputs that align with GRTD branding and strategic objectives
- Support stakeholder engagement activities and campaigns led by FCDO to promote the GRTD platform, where relevant to RCC-funded research
- Monitor digital engagement with and develop KPIs to track performance, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization
b) RCC presence on GRTD
- Ensure the RCC is adequately presented on GRTD and that the design and structure of RCC pages is coherent and promotes the RCC vision
- Create, edit and post new website content for the RCC on GRTD as required
- Coordinate with the 3ie Strategic Communications Office to monitor the website regularly to ensure content is updated and bugs are identified.
c) RCC Communications
Strategy:
- Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the RCC’s overall communication and engagement strategy, including areas of thought leadership around best practice evidence led by the RCC.
Content:
- Strategise on new communication products (including website content, impact stories, blogs, media articles, social media and multimedia content), launches, events, and online promotions Edit, manage and publish research commissioning call documents and participate and manage related events such as Early Market Engagements, FAQ sessions, etc.
- Work with RCC Grantees and project teams editing and publishing RCC publications and deliverables, including reports, briefs and other publications.
- Create social media content and manage dissemination through 3ie’s social media channels, working with 3ie colleagues (NB: RCC social media channels may be established and in this case the role will directly manage these).
- Events and engagement: Provide end-to-end support for workshops and events, including content, budget, logistics, communication and marketing
- Provide inputs for communication and implementation plans for research funded by the RCC.
d) Project management: Ensure that RCC publications and communications products are processed in a timely manner and published on GRTD
- Maintain and update process documents, guidelines and templates for external communications for the RCC and for communications from grantees.
- Oversee the implementation of and improvements to RCC’s branding and logo suite as needed.
e) Stakeholder support: Work closely with RCC staff to cultivate relationships across the research ecosystem, consortium and with grantees. This is likely to include RCC representation at external events.
f) Support RCC grantees: Provide guidance and advise on dissemination activities to grant recipients. Review and approve the engagement and dissemination products and plans submitted by RCC grant recipients as part of their work on RCC-funded projects and support the wider RCC team to monitor engagement activities undertaken by grantees.
g) Knowledge sharing: Collect and collate impact stories for the RCC to support both learning and reporting requirements
4. Qualifications and skills
- Master’s degree in journalism, public affairs, marketing, or a field directly relevant to international development, including formal communication training. Exceptional candidates with a bachelor's degree and extensive work experience may be considered
- At least seven to ten years of experience in a communication role in development sector.
- Proven ability to plan and implement communication and engagement strategies for organizations and research projects
- Knowledge of tools for graphic design, content management, social media and event management is desirable (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Mailchimp, Canva, Drupal, etc.)
- Proven project management and coordination skills to ensure on-time delivery
- Excellent English writing and editing skills; cross-platform writing experience is desirable
- Self-motivated, creative, and multi-tasker with a proven ability to work under tight deadlines accurately and professionally
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a matrix-organized team environment
- Experience working with UK government departments is desirable

About the Role
The Finance and Administrative Assistant will provide essential support across three main areas: finances, events and training. This role is about being detail-oriented in the finance administration, well organised, supporting smooth communication, and helping our members and partners to engage with our services. The role will report to the training and conference manager. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance administration, substantial experience of using Customer Relations Management Systems (CRM) and Xero (or similar systems), and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Above all, you should be eager to learn and ask questions. This is a new role for us – so we're excited to explore and shape it together.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the organisation, including accounts payable and receivable
*Manage weekly accounts reconciliation process
*Preparing financial reports, issuing invoices and chasing debtors for training and events
* Assist operations manager with budgeting and forecasting
Training and events
* Provide administrative support to the operations and training manager by managing the training and events inbox, bookings and attendance.
*Assist in monitoring of training and events by running feedback reports
*Provide more general administrative support for regular training events and the annual conference
* Coordinate meetings and events, liaising with trustees, volunteers and colleagues
General
* Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Essential Experience & Skills
● You have worked in a finance administrative role where you’ve managed multiple tasks and met deadlines.
● You have experience using digital tools like Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) and accounting software. You don’t need to be highly technical, but you should be comfortable navigating systems, updating records, and assisting others with basic queries.
● Responding to customers/clients via emails
● You have experience supporting projects or coordinating tasks
● Intermediate level of excel skills, e.g. produce monitoring reports on training bookings
Desirable Experience (Nice to Have, but not required)
● Knowledge of financial regulation for charities, e.g. the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP)
● Experience working in a membership organisation, charity, or similar setting.
● Familiarity with basic data management (e.g. updating records, handling databases).
● Experience coordinating online or in-person events
● Experience of changing website content or interest in learning

Role Description
The purpose of the Executive Assistant role is to provide administrative, organisational and coordination support to the Executive Team, ensuring their time and attention are aligned with organisational priorities, goals, and objectives. Responsibilities
Executive Coordination
- Manage calendars, inboxes, travel and meeting preparation for Executive Team
- Coordinate agendas and logistics for internal and external meetings

Governance Support
- Own the established governance timetable, board meeting scheduling, and trustee communications
- Draft and distribute board packs, take minutes, and track actions
- Support governance processes in collaboration with the Operations Director

- Leverage AI tools and platforms to enhance business processes
Strategic communications

Role Requirements
Required:
- Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a fast paced and changing environment, taking initiative and managing competing deadlines calmly and flexibly.
- Confident communicating with the executive and leadership team, trustees and external partners in a professional and timely way.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and good judgment.
- Confident coordinating meetings, preparing papers and taking accurate minutes.
- Ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely.
- Ability to identify and apply AI-driven tools to enhance business activities and using AI to streamline workflows and personalise business engagement.
- Comfortable stepping into an established role quickly and maintaining continuity during the maternity leave period.

The Role
The Volunteer Recruitment Officer role is critical to the charity's long-term sustainability and is pivotal in ensuring our branches have the volunteers and guidance they need to support our clients going forward.
This is both an internal and external-facing role, focused on recruiting volunteers and developing initiatives that will streamline how we recruit and welcome new volunteers into our network of branches.

As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with project delivery and innovation. Building on the strategy that has already been prepared for you, you will work closely with our Volunteer Administration Officer and our Operations Manager to help REMAP support our branches across the UK.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar position and be comfortable working with a diverse range of volunteers/people. As a self-starter, you can work at pace and quickly assess and deliver to changing priorities in a busy remote team. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to coordinate multiple tasks/activities and have the flexibility to respond to changing demands.
You will be proactive, enthusiastic, and excited about joining an organisation with ambitious plans to future-proof its services and reach more disabled people. Experience working in a remote environment is highly desirable.

Place of work: Fully remote, with occasional 1/2 nights away for year-round events.
Working Hours: 22 hrs (pattern to be discussed)
Salary: 13,400 - £15,000 (actual salary), dependent on experience
Holiday entitlement: Begins at 25 days per annum (pro-rata), in addition to public holidays.
