This leadership role will play a critical part in leading the strategic change programme for animal care, by planning, co-ordinating and monitoring all the change projects as one overall plan needed to drive the continued transformation of our animal care and teams. They will also oversee the regular planning and monitoring of Operational business plans to ensure they are on track and in synchrony with the change plans.

About the team 

The Data Operations Team sits within the wider Supporter Experience and Operations team, within the Mass Engagement Department at WaterAid. The team is responsible for enabling a high-quality supporter experience through best in class data operations, ensuring tasks are effectively managed across the team. This role leads on all aspects of data imports, Direct Debit processing and Gift Aid claims, enabling WaterAid UK to maximise its fundraising potential, ensuring compliance with financial and data regulations and maintaining high data quality standards.

About the role 

As our Data Operations Manager, you will ensure the accuracy and efficient management of data imports and core income processes such as the Direct Debit and Gift Aid claims. You will work closely with key stakeholders in Performance and Insight, Finance and Mass Engagement to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will: 

• Manage the day-to-day data operations (including data imports, Direct Debit submissions, submitting Gift Aid claims to HMRC)
• Line Manage two Data Operations Officers, providing support, coaching and mentoring 
• Manage the workload and responsibilities of the Data Operations Team, ensuring that tasks are carried out on schedule and within agreed SLAs 
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy through automation or system enhancements 
• Build strong operational relationships with key stakeholders in the Data Engineering and CRM teams, as well as with WaterAid’s third party agencies, to identify areas for improvements and rapid problem fixing, particularly in relation to managing data rejects

Requirements

To be successful, you will need: 

• Excellent problem solving and communication skills 
• Strong experience of using relational database packages and working with large and complex data sets 
• Experience of leading, managing and motivating others and driving change

• Experience of using SQL 
• Knowledge of BACS, Direct Debit and Gift Aid HMRC regulations

The Director of Income Generation will lead the development and delivery of a long-term, sustainable income strategy. This includes overseeing all income streams, from charitable trusts and foundations to corporate partnerships, individual donors, alumni, and commercial opportunities, ensuring they align with their mission to inspire young people in STEM.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will manage a high-performing department across fundraising, partnerships, and marketing, and play a visible and active role in building internal and external relationships.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Significant experience in a senior income generation or fundraising role, with a proven track record of success across diverse income streams.
• Demonstrable experience of building and managing strategic, long-term funder and partner relationships.

About the role

Woman’s Trust is the leading independent charity providing free and confidential mental healthcare to domestic abuse survivors throughout London and the South-East. You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective communications that reach, engage, motivate, and resonate with media, clients, fundraisers, and policy makers across a range of channels.

We are looking for someone with a strong news sense and experience in Press and Public Relations. You will have a demonstrable background of proactively getting organisations involved in the public conversations that matter – while reflecting the confidential nature and sensitivities around domestic abuse and mental health. We aim to proactively generate more awareness of our work and its impact, including our unique position in the women’s and mental health sectors.

The role will be responsible for proactive and reactive media relations; effective engagement on social media; developing engaging content for our website; drafting copy for and producing marketing materials, including our e-newsletter. A highly autonomous role, you will work closely with our Chief Executive, fundraising, counselling, and research teams. You will also be engaging regularly with the Board of trustees, supporting our Chief Executive in our work and mission.

Our ideal candidate would also have experience of working on press and awareness campaigns; and the ability to create content on social media in line with branding guidelines. Experience in developing communications strategies and reporting on Key Performance Indicators would be preferred.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Conservation Officer - Mourne Park on a fixed term contract until December 2029 to support the work on the development and delivery of The National Lottery Heritage Funded project at Mourne Park.

The Role: 
•    This is a key role in The National Lottery Heritage Funded project at Mourne Park.  The Conservation Officer will be required to work on the development and delivery of woodland creation and restoration operations, natural and built heritage and countryside access projects and local habitat auditing and assessment programmes.
•    The role will be responsible for providing advice and assessments to landowners who wish to participate on the woodland creation or restoration element of the project and continually monitor work undertaken to ensure successful implementation.
•    You will co-ordinate and oversee implementation work on heritage conservation projects identified by the project, including the writing of management plans when required.
•    You are responsible for fostering good relations with partners, contractors, interested organisations and individuals, local people, visitors and the media. Identifying, reviewing and meeting with potential partners who could assist the project to meet its objectives and whose objectives could be assisted by the project. 
•    This role is based in Mourne Park, Northern Ireland and will require the successful candidate to travel to site and around Northern Ireland as required.
•    This role is a funded fixed term role until December 2029.

Person Specification:

You will work with the Senior People and Culture Manager in areas including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and a variety of HR projects such as Training, Learning and Development, EDI, and policy development.

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Work with managers to refine job descriptions, post roles, and advertise vacancies effectively.

• Manage the Recruitment inbox, responding promptly and professionally to candidate queries.

• Oversee the Applied platform to facilitate end-to-end recruitment, including application tracking, interview scheduling, and assessment centre coordination.

• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance during onboarding, including preparing offer letters and contracts, conducting reference checks, and creating induction schedules.

• Coordinate equipment setup (e.g. laptops, phones) and access to key systems such as Appogee for new starters.

Offboarding

• Assist managers and employees through the offboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.

• Conduct exit interviews and summarise feedback to facilitate continuous improvement efforts.

• Manage administrative tasks for leavers, including system deactivations, final leave calculations, and equipment returns.

Operations & Systems Management

• Maintain and update employee data. 

• Assist with the planning and administration of staff surveys, including setting up surveys, booking town halls, and coordinating related logistics.

• Assist in event coordination, including booking venues, transportation, and accommodations for key events such as the SSMAs, Team Day, Gala Dinner, Mental Health First Aid Training and staff induction weeks.

• Oversee the movement and tracking of all tech equipment across sites in line with onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Act as the first point of contact for general People & Culture queries, providing consistent and helpful support to all colleagues.

• Ensure employee records are accurately maintained and GDPR compliant.

• Produce HR-related reports covering recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement metrics (with guidance from senior colleagues).

• Work closely with the Senior People & Culture Manager to review and improve internal HR processes, aligning them with organisational goals.

Our Data Operations Managers sit within Product and Systems Management team.

Our Data Operations Managers have a key role in ensuring our end to end processes are working through our central CRM system. These processes include the processing of our income through the system such as Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits.

This role also ensures our end to end data flows are fit for purpose and that data within it are clean, accessible and available.

This role is responsible for:

• Custodian of our CRM data and responsible for major data import/export into the system including data validation, de-duplication, cleansing and fixing of data throughout the multiple data systems.
• Responsible for the curation and management of import and export routines of key fundraising data using appropriate tools.
• Responsible for forming and managing how the functions work within the Organisation to build key relationships with key data users to ensure data is correctly ingested
• Responsible for defining and setting standards and principles of data use in the system and fully enforcing these principles across the Organisation and to suppliers.
• Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary

For this role we’re looking for:

• SQL (SSIS, SSRS) knowledge
• Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology
• Working knowledge of KingswaySoft
• Knowledge of deduplication techniques
• Proven data management skills and experience

About Slough Foodbank

Slough Foodbank is a charity whose object is the prevention or relief of poverty in the United Kingdom, mainly in Slough and the surrounding area, in particular but not exclusively by providing emergency food supplies to individuals in need, as motivated by the principles of the Christian Faith.

Slough Foodbank believes that no one in the community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced, emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. In 2024, we gave out 12,147 food parcels.  Sadly, this is almost double the number in given out in 2020.  In addition to providing food and basic toiletries, we try to understand the situation of the people referred to us so that we can signpost them to other organisations where appropriate, in order to give a helping hand through a crisis.
