Sutton Night Watch is a registered charity which was set up to support and raise awareness for the homeless people within the London Borough of Sutton and surrounding areas.

Over the past 10 years, with the support of local business, the local community and fundraising efforts, we have been able to grow and expand into our own, permanent base in December 2019.  From here we are able to not only provide the essentials such as food, showers and clothing supplies, but we are able to also offer our service users a range of health services, benefit advice, wellbeing and educational based courses, clothes, washing facilities and most importantly, a place where people are seen, heard and understood. We also support people to find secure accommodation. In the past 3 months we have found homes for 13 people.

Job Purpose:

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization.

Our annual fundraising target is set at c250k (cash income) plus additional targets for in-kind donations, preloved donations and donated services. These support the growth and sustainability of our operations, ensuring we can continue to provide essential items and services to local people experiencing homelessness.

This role involves managing donor relationships, coordinating fundraising campaigns, organizing events, and ensuring income targets are met to sustain and grow the charity’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy across individual giving, corporate partnerships, grants, trusts, community fundraising, and events.
• Set annual income targets and monitor performance against goals.
• Identify new opportunities for sustainable income generation.

Donor & Stakeholder Management

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and sponsors.
• Ensure regular communication, reporting, and stewardship to encourage long-term support.
• Work closely with trustees, senior management, and volunteers to maximize fundraising potential

Campaigns & Events

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and events (in-person and digital).

Main purpose of the role 
As our Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of our fundraising strategy, working closely with the Executive Director, the Finance Team, the Insight Fundraising Officer and the Trust and Foundations consultants. The Fundraising Manager will develop existing income streams and strengthen stakeholder and supporter engagement. As Fundraising Manager, you’ll work closely with other global team members to review and implement our fundraising strategy in line with our strategic goals. 

Main Responsibilities: 

1. Play a leading role in the development and delivery of ICC’s fundraising strategy and the success of direct marketing, telemarketing and online campaigns to generate cash, regular giving and Gift Aid. 
2. Plan, research and implement all aspects of direct marketing aimed at acquiring and retaining new and existing supporters. 
3. Establish a robust donor stewardship strategy, building strong relationships with existing  and potential donors and increasing donor retention and engagement 
4. Lead on the cultivation and stewardship of partnerships with churches. 
5. To manage the direction and relationship with our Trust and Foundation consultants by collaborating in the research, writing and submitting targeted Trust applications and report on grants awarded. 
6. Work with the team to support the legacy giving strategy, to maximise long-term income. 
7. To have oversight of the in-house CRM database (Microsoft D365). Work with the team to develop competency in the effective use of our CRM database as part of our donor stewardship and reporting structure. 
8. To assist and promote ICCs presence at fundraising and other events.
9. Manage the ongoing development and implementation of a regular giving strategy and donor care to reduce attrition rates. 
10. Regularly monitor and evaluate direct marketing campaigns, Trust fundraising, recurring giving and legacy fundraising, provide results and feed the learning back into the organisation. 
11. To keep abreast of key issues and best practices within the direct marketing/fundraising sector. 
12. Ensure fundraising practices comply with GDPR, the Data Protection Act and the Code of Fundraising Practice. 
13. Undertake additional duties as requested. 
14. Line manage the Insight Fundraising Officer and lead our Trusts and Foundations partner.

Fundraising Campaigns and Events 

1. Plan, coordinate, and manage our annual fundraising event. 
2. Support the Executive Director on other events. 
3. Project manage our newsletter and appeal campaigns.

About Children Not Numbers

The conflict in Gaza has left thousands of children in urgent need of medical care, trauma support, and long-term assistance. Children Not Numbers is a grassroots UK-based charity committed to the health, safety, education, and wellbeing of Gaza’s children.

Children Not Numbers was established in early 2024 to address the urgent need to support Palestinian children caught up amid an unprecedented conflict. Within 18 months, we have grown rapidly into a global network of c.200 staff and volunteers, most of whom are volunteer paediatric medics representing more than 30 subspecialties.

• Emergency medical aid for sick and injured children in Gaza, delivered through collaboration between local staff and an international network of volunteer medics

• Short-term medical evacuation for urgent and complex cases – more than 230 children have been safely evacuated to date

• Maternal Support Programme – over 500 women supported across 1,100+ appointments

• Manage all Facilties soft services to enable a positive employee experience within the UK office including direct management of cleaning, security, office events, reception services (couriers, post etc)

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• On the job facilities management experience (minimum 3 years in a facilities manager role).
• Experience of working in a customer facing facilities team, and proven ability in providing an excellent experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment; with strong multi-tasking, organisational and time management skills.
• Experience of managing the tendering processes, contractor/supplier services and budget management (with a focus on value for money and quality of service).

About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values-led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. You will have the ability to work with staff across the organisation in supporting good financial governance and oversight of financial operational matters. You will have the ability to analyse financial information and present this in a suitable format for the audience. You will have good ability to meet deadlines, be IT literate with an emphasis on financial systems, spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Excel. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.

About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

The Role

Planning and delivery of the Greyhound Trust’s fundraising from individuals to support delivery of our organisational strategy.

This is a new role within our new and growing income generation and engagement team. Reporting to the Head of Income Generation and Engagement, the Greyhound Trust looks to you to review and develop current Individual Giving income streams, identify and implement new opportunities and deliver a sustainable growth plan suited to the Greyhound Trust brand, stakeholders, resources and strategic aspirations. We need to build a strong financial foundation that will allow us to care for and home even more greyhounds both today and in the future, engaging new supporters and motivating existing ones to continue their support.

What you will do

• Under the direction of the Head of Income Generation and Engagement, create, deliver and evaluate a long-term Individual Giving strategy.
• Build a diverse and sustainable individual giving portfolio suited to the Greyhound Trust brand, stakeholders, resources and growth aspirations.
• Plan and deliver engaging multi-channel fundraising campaigns, appeals and/or product promotions

Camp Jojo is a small/medium, but growing charity with a committed team of Trustees, Special Advisors, and Volunteers. This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic organisation and work in a supportive environment. In particular, Camp Jojo’s extension of its work to Nags Head Farm, Appleby, Cumbria, is new; with Open Days held in 2025, and the first camps to be held in August 2026.

The holder of this post will be critical to this development; working to establish a sister site in Cumbria to Ivy Farm on Mersea island, Essex, with a well tried and tested model of operations. The role of Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager (Families and Site Ops) is to offer leadership and administrative support to key functions of Camp Jojo at Nags Head Farm, and to members of the Camp Jojo Board, in relation to the camps held at Nags Head Farm.

The Contractor will handle clerical and logistics tasks for the organisation in a timely and efficient way. The primary task of the Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will be to oversee family applications to the camps, and to maintain and develop data bases in support of this. They will hold a key role in relation to communications with the families pre-, during, and post-camps. In addition, they will attend and minute meetings, and contribute to camp operations in planning etc. They may need to work flexibly, according to the seasonal demands of the charity.

They will attend the first day (Friday) of each camp The Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will have a varied and sometimes high-pace job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, interact professionally with the wider Camp Jojo community, and be very good communicators.

Person Specification

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
• Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner. 

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details in a timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations pipeline and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

• Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

Finance Manager 
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the growing Reaching Higher team and bring our finance function fully in-house. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional who will play a pivotal role in ensuring strong financial systems, accurate reporting, and sound financial planning. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in financial management and governance, budgeting and forecasting, payroll and pension oversight, and the ability to provide clear strategic insight and analysis to support organisational growth and sustainability.

Purpose of this Role

Our finance functions are currently partially outsourced to an external contractor. Our income has grown significantly over the past five years and our Board have now decided to employ a Finance Manager and bring financial expertise in-house. In this new position as the Finance Manager at Reaching Higher, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and planning, payroll and pension management, and financial governance and compliance. You will support all aspects of Reaching Higher’s work and development through ensuring strong financial systems. 

You will work closely with our team to ensure that all day-to-day finance requirements are met, including accurate grant finance monitoring and reporting to multiple funders. You will also work closely with our senior leaders and board to build the charity’s financial resilience and the financial awareness of our wider team.

You will work closely with the Executive Assistant & Administrator and report to the Executive Director, as well as working closely with the Executive Team, Treasurer and wider Board. 

About Reaching Higher 

Reaching Higher is a youth organisation which works with over 2000 young people aged 9-21 each year across Croydon and surrounding boroughs. Developed in partnership with local churches, we are a youth-led charity with a Christian ethos and this role is restricted under basis of faith.We have a particular emphasis on providing mentoring support to young people and supporting their development as leaders. We have established strong links with key local, London and UK-wide organisations and our approach leads us into regular working contact with partner schools, community groups and churches.
