The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

As one of our Project Managers in the Event Development team, you will play a vital role in project visioning, developing and tendering for a wide range of annual contracted events throughout The Royal Parks.

Specifically, you will help support and deliver the commercial and strategic vision for our most significant major events and lead on the development of new event tender projects.

You’ll ensure that our commercial activities are sustainable and profitable whilst remaining consistent with our values and sympathetic to parkland activities. The role will involve:

• Creating and drafting strategies for future tenders for major public events
• Preparing and maintaining detailed project plans and tender documentation

• Managing the day-to-day admin for event tender projects

About You

To be considered as one of our Project Managers within Event Development, you will need:

• Excellent experience working as a project manager within outdoor events or public parks
• Good knowledge and experience in tendering for event providers and contract administration within the events industry
• Excellent communication, presentation, proofreading and report-writing skills
• Good organisation skills
• The ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships
• The ability to analyse information, make informed judgements, appraise performance, and manage risks
• A PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent Microsoft Project and/or Project Management experience would be beneficial to your application. A degree level education in event management or equivalent experience would be desirable.

We are recruiting a Training Manager to run this programme end to end. Key Responsibilities

TPP are recruiting a part time Venue Sales Executive (community centre).  This community hub provides a variety of activities and events for local residents of all ages.  Amongst the already proven income generation streams are meeting room hire and a cookery school.  You can expect to be working off a warm client list and developing new business.

The role:

This Venue Sales Executive role is pivotal in maximising room hire and activity bookings, developing client relationships, and generating sustainable revenue for this central London charity.
As Venue Sales Executive, you will proactively identify opportunities, convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, and work with internal teams to ensure clients have a seamless, high-quality experience.

• Actively promote and sell conference room hire and activity packages to new and existing clients.
• Respond promptly to enquiries, prepare tailored proposals, and follow through to secure bookings.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, encouraging repeat bookings and referrals.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise income.
• Coordinate post-event client interaction, including feedback collection, evaluation, and follow-up to maintain client loyalty.
• Monitor local competitor offerings and market trends to identify new income opportunities.

 
Essential criteria:

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or income generation.
• Ideally, experience in hospitality, events, venue sales or similar.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Self-motivated and target-driven, able to work independently.

About the role:

These roles are offered on a hybrid working basis, 1 day per week from our London Singer Street office (every Tuesday). The remaining 4 days per week will be home-based but there will still be the requirement on these days to travel to London courts to deliver pre-trial visits. Therefore, it is essential the travel distance from surrounding counties outside of London is within 30 minutes to London.

As an Independent Witness Advocate you will:

• Lead on providing pre-trial, outreach & post-trial support for witnesses; ensuring their pre and post-trial needs are assessed and a plan for support is put in place so they can attend court to give their best evidence
• Provide advocacy, support in court, and emotional/practical support around their physical, mental, social or financial wellbeing
• Liaise with criminal justice partners to ensure witnesses are kept up to date with arrangements for attendance at court and where applicable, ensure special measures have been granted
• Provide practical and emotional support in a way that is approachable, flexible and caring, showing empathy at all times
• Need to be tenacious in support of your clients and being able to solve problems and surmount the challenges posed by the criminal justice system
