At the Poppy Factory, we help armed forces veterans with health conditions to find meaningful and sustainable employment after service. This often means overcoming significant barrier to employment. As an Employment Consultant, you will be assisting veterans across the region back into work. Based at your home, but with extensive travel, you will help with application materials, overcome challenges, and connect with employers. You will also work alongside professionals in other services such as health or welfare to ensure that the veterans have access to all the support they need to overcome barriers to gain and retain employment.

Job Purpose

This role plays a key part in the delivery of Operation Smile UK’s retention programme, generating income and retaining existing cash and regular giving donors. Key Responsibilities

Campaign Delivery & Coordination

· Deliver cultivation and retention campaigns, setting up and developing schedules in Asana and coordinating all required stakeholders.

· Manage timelines to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to plan.

· Compile campaign costs and track expenditure against budgets, flagging issues as they arise.

Creative, Data & Fulfilment Management

• Develop campaign briefs for creative, data output, print and fulfilment for review by internal teams and suppliers.
• Manage the creative sign-off process: collate feedback from stakeholders and ensure briefing accuracy to suppliers.
• Proof all campaign materials to maintain brand integrity and accuracy.

Digital & Email Communications

• Support the development of donor emails in line with agreed campaign structures.
• Coordinate the production and scheduling of email content in collaboration with the communications and data and tech team.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Compile campaign results for analysis and provide reports to inform future activity.
• Work closely with data teams to ensure appropriate segmentation and tracking.

Donor Stewardship

• Support the thank-you process, including personalising and developing donor thank-you cards as required.
• Contribute to improving supporter journeys and experiences through campaign touchpoints, especially for regular givers.

We are recruiting for an Admissions and Assessment Coordinator to join our Specialist Family Residential Service in Sheffield. The service provides drug and alcohol recovery support for parents and their children in a residential setting.

The hours are full time, Monday to Friday 9-5, based at the Sheffield Family Residential Service, and you will be expected to take part in a on call rota to support the staff and service delivery. Flexible working can be considered.

The service is based close to Eccelsall Road/Sheffield Hallam Collegiate Campus area of Sheffield, it is easily accessible. Situated in a large Victorian Building, fully refurbished in 2022, there is free on-site parking as well and is also easily access by multiple bus routes.

The Role

We need someone who can work in a team within a residential family setting and be empowering and passionate in supporting families to make positive changes in their drug and alcohol lifestyle choices. Your role would include the following:

• To manage all enquiries and referrals made to the service, undertake comprehensive needs assessments and risk assessment for individuals.
• Liaise with Residential Manager to make placement decisions about the suitability of individuals with multiple needs.
• Welcome new residents into the service and ensure all needs of the individuals are met upon arrival.
• Be responsible for data management of referrals, assessments, ensuring all admissions are managed safely and report data in line with processes in place.
• Liaise with referrers and stakeholders to ensure promotion of new relationships and existing relationships are maintained

Whilst the service is 24/7, this role is Monday to Friday with flexible working opportunities.  

About You

• Experience of working with people and families with multiple and varying needs including addiction and have a working knowledge of residential rehabilitation and strengthening recovery capital.
• Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders and nurturing relationships, you will be able to confidently provide guidance and support to individuals, families, and stake holders in relation to accessing and developing residential rehabilitation pathways into the service.
• Experience of completing robust assessments and risk management plans.
• You will be positive, innovative, and motivational in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team also on your own initiative.

About the role

Reporting in to the Director of Organisational Effectiveness, the Head of Health, Safety, Security & Safeguarding is a key role for Christian Aid and will inspire, design and drive Christian Aid's Global Safe strategy, in respect of safety, security, and safeguarding, ensuring that staff in the UK, overseas offices, and partner organisations operate in a safe, secure, and well-supported environment.

The Big Issue is looking to appoint to a critical role supporting our vendors. The Support and Outreach Worker will be a leading role in our belief of “A Hand Up Not a Hand Out”, and has been created to improve our service to vendors, helping them to increase their income through selling our magazine and providing casework support.
 
You will also positively promote The Big Issue in your local area, build partnerships with third-party organisations and identify and promote opportunities all with the aim of moving people out of poverty.
 
To offer our vendors the best possible support you will have experience and knowledge of working with vulnerable adults in a frontline setting, along with the ability to offer effective sales advice and guidance helping them to increase their income through magazine sales.
