This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s Finance team as a Procurement Support Officer, playing a vital role supporting the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the charity’s operations.

Working alongside with the Procurement Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you will provide essential support on all procurement related matters, offering advice and guidance to ensure all procurement activities are aligned with our corporate strategy.

About the role:
As the Gender and Equality Lead, you’ll provide expert technical guidance to ensure global programmes are inclusive, gender-responsive, and transformative. South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). The service has supported over 4,000 parents within the last eight years.

We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to act as our Single Point of Access for professionals, service users and volunteers. The role is responsible for managing all referrals, providing holistic and person-centred support to vulnerable women experiencing mental health challenges. The role will provide high quality and supportive line management of staff, and will oversee the recruitment life cycle of volunteers to the Mindful Mums project, including interviews, onboarding, training and supervision.

You will be highly organised with experience of staff and data management in a target-driven environment. Working independently but collaboratively, you will take a solution-focused approach to improve processes and will be able to utilise databases to produce and analyse reports. You will also be a confident facilitator, as some group and training delivery will be expected.

This role would ideally suit a parent who has successfully managed their own perinatal mental health problems and those with good understanding of promoting positive perinatal mental wellbeing.

We are seeking a Finance Officer with a keen eye for detail, and an aptitude for learning new skills, to take on purchase ledger and payroll administration duties in our Finance Department.   You will have either begun on the path of attaining a financial qualification or had some experience in a similar role.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all purchases, payments and returns, including supplier invoices, staff payments (salaries, expenses and advances), project and contractor payments and credit card transactions.  Responsible for project reporting against budget.

• Ownership of the purchase ledger system, administering the entire process of invoice receiving, checking, coding, distributing for approval, posting to the accounts software (currently Sage), setting up domestic and international payments for authorisation, and electronic filing of documents.
• Administering all credit card returns including distribution of statements to colleagues, checking and coding returns, collating documents, submitting for line-manager approval, posting to Sage and following up on outstanding items.

Context and purpose of role

The Out There Award (OTA) increases the skills, confidence and social connections of young adults (18-26 years) from diverse backgrounds to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. As a member of the Programmes team, the Programme Lead (Out There Award) will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of the programme across GB.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on the design, development and operational delivery of the Out There Award programme across GB.
• Create operational delivery plans – to identify milestones, monitor risks, resolve issues and manage resource requirements.
• Design and develop resources and processes to support programme implementation.
• Be responsible for managing a budget in line with programme goals and objectives.
• Be responsible for evaluation and reporting, to ensure the programme meets KPIs and delivers measurable impact.

The Service Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the mission of our charity by providing comprehensive assistance and advocacy services to individuals and families in need. The Service Officer will work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to deliver Food Bank services, Activity Camps, and Afterschool club, advice and advocacy support, clothing assistance, cooking programs, and Social Supermarket Operations, as well as support initiatives for the elderly, individuals experiencing poverty and isolation, and families with children.

Programme Planning, Delivery and Implementation

•  To design and deliver the  Activity Camps and After School Club  Programme calendar, curriculum, and events that are outcomes-focused, educational, and engaging, and enable young people to develop a range of skills appropriate to their needs.

• Working with Children, young people, and their families to build services that meet their needs, wants, and aspirations of the individual.

• Work in Collaboration with the Leadership Team  to oversee the work of the Spring Activity Camps Coordinators to design and develop a range of activities, workshops, and programmes to meet the needs of our children, young people, and their families 

• Collaborate with other staff members, volunteers, and external partners to deliver engaging, fun, and impactful activities

• Ensure all activities align with the organisation's mission and values and promote personal growth, inclusivity, and well-being.

• Oversee and coordinate the operations of Food Services

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity to join Into Film and lead on the production of all audio-visual content for the UK’s foremost film education charity. Overseeing an in-house production team of six, the Production Lead will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to identify, develop and deliver an exciting and wide range of content for classroom resources, social media channels and the Into Film website.

• Extensive experience of working successfully and collaboratively with senior colleagues from across an organisation to plan and produce audio-visual content.
• Experience of managing individual project and departmental budgets. 
• Good working knowledge of rights and compliance issues in relation to audio visual production. 
• Confident, creative judgement, including experience of feeding back on briefs, scripts and edits, and taking responsibility for project sign-off and delivery. 

Desirable:

• Experience of producing audio-visual content for an education and/or youth audience.
• Experience of editing audio-visual content using Premiere Pro.

 Salary:£37,800 per annum Band F Level 3 - (Homebased)  £39,560 per annum Band F Level 3- (Gilwell based, inclusive of Outer London Weighting)

 Contract Type: Fixed term for 24 months

 Working Hours: 35 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to shape how we support and enable excellent, safe Scouting through stronger assurance and risk practices.

As our new Risk and Assurance Executive, you’ll help lay the foundations of a refreshed assurance function — working alongside colleagues in safeguarding, safety, and governance primarily. You’ll support the delivery of assurance activities aligned to our “Reassuring Scouting” programme of work, and play a key role in embedding a practical, proportionate, and learning-focused approach to risk management.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping a new and developing function, and getting into the thick of it to establish a mature approach to Enterprise Risk Management and Assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, delivery, and reporting of assurance reviews across core areas (i.e., safeguarding, safety, and governance to start with).

• Help co-ordinate internal assurance activities and maintain the assurance schedule.
• Support the development and testing of an integrated three lines of defence model tailored for Scouting.

Skills and abilities:

• Ability to gather and analyse qualitative and quantitative information to draw insights and form clear recommendations.
• Skilled in facilitating discussions or workshops that help others reflect, evaluate, or plan.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce accessible and engaging reports.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
