We’re looking for a Supporter Development Manager to lead the delivery of innovative, insight-driven campaigns that deepen supporter engagement and help drive income for the Royal British Legion. About you:

The Role

The Opportunity Fund Partnership Development Manager plays a central role in supporting funding opportunities aligned with the objectives of the Opportunity Fund. This role combines relationship-building and programme development to ensure the Opportunity Fund achieves the maximum impact.

This role will be responsible for working closely with the CEO and the Strategy, Research and Engagement team to initially identify possible opportunities for funding, through to managing the relationship with organisations once funding is awarded. Some of the things you would be responsible for as a Community Manager:

• Responsible for the admission welcome including assess new referrals, interviewing potential Companions, welfare and care of Companions, their integration into the Emmaus Community and the wider community at large, developing a sense of extended family.
• Lead and implement a culture which provides confidentiality, promotes professional boundaries, protects data, and safeguards Companions, Volunteers and staff.
• To manage support relating to Companion’s needs regarding their daily living requirements, physical and mental health, safety and personal development.
• To assist and encourage Companions to move into independent accommodation where appropriate
• Ensure that effective Safeguarding systems are in place and maintained, acting as the organisation’s Designated Safeguarding Person, with delegated responsibility for policy development, implementation, and reporting.
• Working in partnership with the Retail Manager, facilitate, encourage, and support companion engagement and training within the social enterprises to ensure they are viable businesses.
• Assist the Multi Site Property and Facilities Manager in the upkeep and maintenance of the Community, to ensure that it provides a pleasant and comfortable home for the Companions, whilst adhering to health and safety requirements.

What you'll be doing:
In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Manager Proposition Development to shape compelling propositions, develop new funding ideas, and design engagement actions that will drive relationships forward.

You will work in partnership with colleagues within the Relationship Development team, Strategic Relationships & Philanthropy directorate (covering Major Donors, Trusts, Statutory and Lottery, and Corporate Partnerships), and a wide range of internal RNIB stakeholders, to develop an understanding of organisational priorities and funder needs.

Using your experience in bid writing or fundraising, you will develop exciting new propositions which appeal to a wide range of funders. You'll be able to develop a deep understanding of the needs of our fundraisers and connect those with the exciting and innovative work of RNIB.

You'll lead on engagement for the team, developing tailored cultivation strategies, engagement pathways, and designing products to move prospects through their giving journeys.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary Relationship Development Team, you'll develop our core offer and adopt a test and learn approach for our key stakeholders.

The post is full-time and permanent, working 35 hours a week. This can either be as a home based role or hybrid, working from one of our offices. You'll need to travel for team meetings and planning days which are often in our London Head Office.

The Kennington Association (KA) is a registered charity and active community organisation based in North Lambeth. In 2013, the KA rescued the historic Lollard Street Adventure Playground (LSAP) from impending closure, brought on by local government spending cuts. With sustained funding from leading grant makers, the playground has since gone from strength to strength, winning Coolest Place to Play in the 2015 London Play Adventure Play Awards. It is now embarking on further development with a capital programme to replace the indoor play spaces, having already replaced the outdoor play structures and built new changing facilities which make our two sports pitches accessible to children with special needs. LSAP is a vibrant, welcoming space where children can engage in free play, and it offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for staff and volunteers alike.

We're looking for someone to be the regional representative for Crimestoppers in the Avon and Somerset area, with specific responsibility for;

• Creation and delivery of local/county/regionally specific crime-based campaigns in partnership with law enforcement agencies, local committees and volunteers.
• Coordination of cross border and national activity in support of ROCU’S, the NCA and other bodies such as the GLAA.
• Identifying and maximising funding opportunities for our charity including RM post, campaign activity, Fearless workers and for Business Development.
• Enabling volunteer committees to develop so they can operate effectively and achieve their full potential.
• Act as Crimestoppers spokesperson for the region covered, regarding media interviews.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are recruiting for a Communications Officer who will coordinate our internal, Network-wide, and external communications. Ensuring excellent communications across the staff team, and the effective promotion of its work.

You will be a highly motivated communications specialist with a proven track record of internal and external communications. You will have excellent planning and prioritisation skills to ensure timely delivery of tasks, along with prior proven experience managing social media channels that results in an impact of campaigns and engagement. 

Key Tasks

• To create content and coordinate internal communications across the Network staff team, ensuring the effective development and implementation of appropriate channels 
• To develop and maintain a communications content calendar when and how the Network’s activity will be effectively communicated
• To coordinate communications across the wider Network, including PTCs, Regional Hubs, and partners, including through the production and dissemination of a regular digital newsletter 
• To develop, post and oversee content for the Network’s social media channels to promote the effectiveness of the Network’s approach and the impact of PTCs and commissioners 
• To establish and maintain appropriate media links to ensure that the reality of poverty, and the impact of commissioners in seeking to alleviate it, is effectively shared
• To support the Network’s parliamentary engagement and its national programmes to ensure that its work is shared impactfully 
• To provide an appropriate level of support to PTCs as they develop their social media and engage with the media appropriately
• To undertake other appropriate duties as requested by the Operations Manager
