Job description

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. It aims to raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions; fight to improve frontline mental health services for individuals and carers; provide support, information and guidance through SANEline, our Call Back service, email and text support; and promote and host research into causes, treatments and therapies through its Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE research.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Training and Outreach Officer to enhance the delivery of SANE’s volunteer training programs and develop our corporate training initiatives, as well as to foster outreach activities that increase partner participation. This pivotal role focuses on expanding SANE's current corporate training offerings and ensuring high-quality learning opportunities for volunteers. Additionally, the Officer will engage with a broader range of relevant partners, contributing to SANE's mission and impact.

Working closely with the Volunteer Programme Manager and alongside the training team, you will deliver engaging and inclusive training sessions for corporate partners, volunteers and stakeholders, ensuring learning is accessible, impactful and aligned with SANE’s values and objectives.

This is a part-time office-based role, with occasional weekend and evening work as required.
