The Trust is seeking a Fundraising Director to run the day-to-day operations of our small and successful charity, alongside our existing Director of Operations, starting 1 September 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The annual salary is £33,000 and hours of work are 35 hours a week. The successful candidate must be able to work from home but be willing to travel to central London for regular meetings and occasional events. We are open to part-time or flexible working options.

22 days annual leave increasing one day per year up to 30 days, plus bank holidays.

Pension contribution: employer 3% and staff 5% at the People’s Pension.

The National Youth Arts Trust (NYAT) is a small performing arts charity that exists to widen access to the performing arts for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds - through giving bursaries for music, dance, and drama lessons, running youth theatre projects, and taking children to the theatre, often for the first time.

Purpose of the Job

The Pathway Administrators sits within The Green House (TGH) under the direction of the Service Manager and Clinical Manager. They will be part of a busy and friendly team and responsible for supporting children, young people and families with accessing our frontline services. The post holders will be the first point of contact for families and professionals wishing to make referrals to our service. They will lead on allocations to our Frontline Services and respond to Subject Access Requests and Pre-Trial Therapy Notes Requests alongside the Service Manager and Data Protection Officer. They are also responsible for day-to-day administration of the whole service. The key duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description are shared by both post holders. The normal place of work is The Green House, Bristol, however it may be necessary from time to time to attend meetings and events elsewhere.

Though we deliver a local service, our work is influencing the national response to child sexual abuse. We provide national training on pre-trial therapy and survivor-led leadership programmes. It is an exciting time to join us as we establish our new service model, deliver a new strategy and look to increase both our local and national visibility. You will be joining an ambitious team who work tirelessly to improve the lives of children, young people and families who have experienced sexual abuse. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide a trauma-informed contact via telephone, email, website contact form, voicemail, or text message for Children, Young People and Families referred to TGH, including self-referrals.

2. Provide information about what support services are available and refer/facilitate access to internal, or external support services.

3. Input Request for Support Forms (Referrals) into the case management system.

4. Communicate closely with clients and keep them informed of any wait times, action taken or referrals made on their behalf.

5. Gather information from other professionals at the point of referral or allocation as advised by the Clinical Manager and Service Manager.

6. Take part in promoting services including talks and training to organisations based in key agencies across Avon and Somerset to support staff, volunteers, and clients to build trust and understanding about TGH, our referral pathways and services.

7. To work with the Service Manager and Clinical Manager to manage and co-ordinate appointments for our services, updating our database and associated spreadsheets.

8. Attend organisational meetings as required and communicate effectively with

relevant colleagues across the TGH team.

9. Support with administrative tasks across the organisation including support to the Senior Leadership Team where appropriate with administrative tasks.

10. Maintain accurate, confidential records of all contacts and interventions with Children, Young People and Families/professionals, ensuring timely documentation using internal systems e.g., Oasis.

11.  Commit to self-care and participate in line management, annual appraisal, clinical supervision, training and contribute to team communication and operational improvements.

12.  Support the Research Team and Services Team to actively gather feedback from clients and professionals.

13.  Maintain documentation and manuals associated with the role as and when required (alongside the Service Manager).

14.  Respond to Subject Access Requests and Pre-Trial Therapy Notes Requests in partnership with the Service Manager and Data Protection Officer.

15.  Produce professional letters to advocate on behalf of Children, Young People and Families and manage client post.

16.  Assess risk and report safeguarding concerns in line with the Green House Policies, maintain up-to-date safeguarding training, and stay informed on relevant legislation about child sexual abuse and procedures. 

17.  Work within professional boundaries and comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation connected to your work.

18.  Ensure that all work is carried out in line with Health and Safety and other policies outlined in The Green House Bristol’s Employee Induction Pack and Handbook.

19.  To contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation by helping to improve systems and procedures.

20.  Take a positive and proactive approach to problem solving to manage a varied workload and contribute to a positive working environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.

You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.

You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Excellent communication and organisational skills will also be essential as you work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our income records are accurate and efficient.

We are looking for a Supporter Acquisition Lead to join the mass fundraising and engagement team at Scope.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of innovative, inclusive, and data-driven acquisition campaigns.

Job Title: Philanthropy Manager

Overall purpose

The Philanthropy Manager will manage and steward a portfolio of funders and donors – across trusts and foundations, statutory sources and major donors – to secure annual and multi-year gifts in support of Breaking Barriers’ vision. As well as managing relationships with our existing donors there will be a focus on creating new relationships through proactive prospecting and developing a long-term strategic approach to stewardship and relationship development.

You will be an ambitious, enthusiastic, energetic, and autonomous fundraiser with a demonstrable passion for supporting people from a refugee background. You will have a strong track record of high-value relationship management and fundraising, ideally specialising in Trusts, Statutory, Major Donor fundraising or a related area. We are looking for someone who can successfully secure and steward gifts of 5 figures and above – so evidence of stewarding high-value relationships and high-quality written skills are key.  You will collaborate with additional fundraisers across Trusts, Statutory, Corporate and Major Gifts to coordinate approaches and maximise opportunities across all functions.

We welcome applicants with relevant transferable skills from other sectors and other areas of fundraising but a strong knowledge of the fundamentals of grant fundraising is essential. We are looking for a passionate individual who can get people excited about the work we do and who wants to make a difference in the lives of individuals from a refugee background. About the Role:

You will provide high quality support to all victims and witnesses of crime and Anti-Social Behaviour, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for service users referred in to the service, completing comprehensive impact and risks assessments using agreed processes and a tailoring the response to each individual's needs.
• Manage a caseload of service users who require more immediate and short term interventions, referring on those with more long term needs either internally or externally.
• Develop support plans where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service and provide accurate and timely performance information for internal and external use.

About the team

The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 16 staff. Impetus has an annual income of £10 million, which we are looking to grow to £12–£14 million within the next few years. The team is led by the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships.

The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant-making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also delivers a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono support for Impetus’s corporate partners.

In addition to our direct grants, we have several themed funds that support specific areas of our work, currently Connect and Engage, with plans to launch Skills and Attainment. About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Philanthropy Team as an interim Events Officer. The successful candidate will be a highly organised individual who has a positive, can-do attitude, who enjoys working independently and as part of a team. ​

Impetus has a successful annual programme of fundraising and cultivation events including the Transforming Lives Dinner, the Impetus Triathlon and Impetus Future Party. We are looking for an Events Officer to support our programme of events, while also working creatively to innovate and improve our practices.​

Reporting to the Head of Events, the Events Officer is an integral part of the Impetus team, supporting our calendar of fundraising and engagement events.​

The Events Officer will be involved in all aspects of events management such liaising with venues and suppliers (catering, production, design), working with sponsors, event marketing, guest management and finance tracking. Event Delivery

We are looking for a passionate, ambitious Assistant Charity Shop Manager to join our successful team to help manage our charity shop in Old Swan. 

The Assistant Shop Manager will be an integral part of the wider Charity team.

Main Duties/Tasks: 

You will play a vital role in supporting the Shop Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team of dedicated employees and volunteers, fostering strong community engagement and maximising the shop’s impact. The purpose of this role is to deliver frontline service to victims of fraud within North Wales providing immediate and on-going emotional support to victims of Fraud by providing high quality, accessible, relevant telephone, Livechat and outreach support.

Based in the Victim Help Centre, in St Asaph, North Wales and working in liaison with North Wales Police and Action Fraud. The post holder will identify and manage the victims immediate service needs and contribute towards risk assessment processes and following agreed safe contact processes and recording all contact securely.

Right now, we are looking for a Age Well Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Roehampton Older People service. 

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

Work collaboratively with the Team Leader to identify and support older people at risk of losing independence, promoting recovery and delaying health deterioration. Engage with statutory, voluntary, and independent sectors, as well as residents aged 60+, to optimise local resources and knowledge in service development. Help older residents in Roehampton access health and wellbeing services and build stronger community connections. Contribute to the ongoing development of Age Well services by sharing best practices and participating in provider forums. With support from Hestia's Fundraising Team, explore opportunities for additional funding. Co-produce community-led activities that empower individuals to improve their health and wellbeing, supporting residents to initiate and run local interest-based groups. Recruit and supervise volunteers to enhance programme delivery. Conduct outreach, including home and hospital visits when needed, and explore digital solutions to strengthen service provision. Facilitate peer support through various formats, participate in service evaluations, and help implement participatory evaluation methods. Work in partnership with the council and stakeholders to assess and respond to community needs with flexibility.

Here's what the team will be looking for:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing services that address health and social care needs among vulnerable populations, particularly older adults. They will bring experience in recruiting, supervising, motivating, and supporting volunteers, as well as coordinating Age Well or Public Health programmes (desirable). Strong research skills and a demonstrated ability to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders are essential. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and digital—and be a self-starter capable of working independently and finding creative solutions to support isolated community groups. They should have the knowledge and experience needed to design engaging, relevant services for older people, with a desirable understanding of community development work. A solid understanding of older adults' health needs—including dementia, falls prevention, and social isolation—is critical. The role also requires the ability to build professional relationships across sectors, influence others, manage conflict effectively, and analyse performance data to drive improvements. A thorough understanding of safeguarding issues and the ability to respond appropriately is essential.
