What you’ll do
As the Research Tutor, you will support the delivery of the MSc Psychology and Trauma programme by supervising student research, contributing to teaching and assessment, and providing academic and pastoral support to ensure students successfully complete their studies in line with UCL standards.
- Research Supervision & Assessment – Supervise MSc research projects, advise on ethics applications, and mark student assessments (e.g. podcasts, dissertations)

What you’ll bring
The ideal candidate will be a doctoral-level researcher with expertise in child and adolescent trauma, strong supervisory and teaching skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports postgraduate students in completing high-quality research.
- Doctoral qualification (PhD or professional doctorate) in a relevant field (or near completion), with excellent understanding of psychology and neuroscience as applied to trauma in children and young people.
- Proven experience supervising student research projects, including support with ethics applications, research design, and academic writing.
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including confidence in using statistical software such as SPSS and R.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tutor, mentor, and provide pastoral support to diverse postgraduate students.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing workload and deadlines while demonstrating inclusive practice and awareness of EDI principles.

Position: S11313 Stroke Support Coordinator

The Role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
- Provide personalised information, advice and support.

About You
You will have experience in:

WHAT IS OUR SECOND HOME
We are a youth movement that empowers people with refugee backgrounds to build community, become leaders, and flourish into adulthood in the place that they call home.
We are looking for a highly engaging Leadership & Volunteering Manager to lead and grow our leadership training programming, and to lead on the recruitment, development and retention of our pool of volunteers. You will work across our various hubs to ensure all volunteers are well-supported, feel valued, and are making meaningful contributions to OSH’s mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership Training & Development

Oversee and continue to codify OSH’s LIT (Leaders in Training) course, including in-person and online sessions, and mentoring LITs on their first residential. This will include hands-on delivery, managing logistics, and working with volunteers and facilitators.

Co-design and develop other leadership programmes for young people.

Support young people from refugee backgrounds to move from participants to leaders within OSH.

Lead the delivery of training and induction for new and returning volunteers in hubs, at pre camp training days and leaders retreats. This includes safeguarding, group dynamics, facilitating groups, and OSH values, but will also include identifying gaps and trends in skills and experiences.

FTWW is looking for a full-time Volunteer and Community Coordinator! The successful candidate will strengthen community activity by engaging with external stakeholders and members of the public, increasing our reach and volunteer numbers. They will ensure that volunteers are supported and equipped to participate in a wide range of activities, both in-person and online.
The role is full-time home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage.
We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in facilitating an online coproduction event one day and speaking at the Senedd the next so excellent communication skills are a must. We currently have over 90 registered volunteers and a key part of the role will be to develop our volunteer programme. OVERVIEW OF THE POST
The Youth & Communities Programme Manager provides leadership and management for the youth & communities team and their programme of work, driving quality delivery and growth.
Working closely with other programme managers, they ensure that delivery is focused on achieving the Groundwork GM vision, facilitate learning across programme areas, ensure consistency in programme delivery and explore improvements to the way we work.
Delivery
· Lead and effectively manage the youth & communities programme, including:

Working with a talented group of economists and researchers, you will design, manage and deliver high-quality research projects across energy, climate, transport and wider decarbonisation. You’ll create datasets, carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis, and develop policy proposals that are creative, evidence-based and workable. You’ll also contribute to consultancy commissions, support fundraising bids, and represent NEF externally in meetings, media and public platforms such as blogs, podcasts and videos.
We’re looking for someone with a degree (or equivalent experience) in environmental economics, climate change, sustainability, public policy or a related field; strong research and quantitative skills (Excel and ideally Stata, R or Python); excellent writing and communication ability, and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Overall job purpose
