We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Administrator to provide high-quality HR administration and co-ordinate HR and Payroll processes across the organisation. You’ll be the first point of contact for HR and Payroll queries, maintain accurate personnel records, and support to ensure accurate monthly pay across the organisation. You’ll also work closely with colleagues to ensure our systems and procedures are efficient, compassionate, and compliant.

You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of HR and Payroll support, including:

• Responding to HR and Payroll queries via email, phone, and in person
• Maintaining personnel records and supporting HR system improvements
• Assisting with HR projects and audits
• Ensuring payroll deadlines are adhered to, and data is prepared
• Processing and calculating SSP and CSP for the organisation
• Providing cover for other HR administrators during absences or busy periods

Our client is one of the largest women's hostels in the UK for vulnerable women affected by homelessness. They offer support to women with a range of complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic violence, and provide these support services in a warm, welcoming and secure environment. They are now recruiting for 2 Support Workers to provide person centred support to women with a variety of complex needs.  

As a Support Worker you will work with a range of women with complex support needs and backgrounds and will empower and support them to reach their goals, giving them the necessary tools to achieve these. You work to identify risk and conduct regular reviews of support plans and risk assessments to ensure that the needs of those women on your caseload are met with a proactive and motivating approach. You will also work with other agencies, linking women in with various services that will support them in a holistic way.

To apply for this role, you will have proven experience of supporting hard to reach service users in a similar setting.  You will have experience of providing personalised, tailored, trauma-informed support to a variety of people with complex needs and will be warm and approachable in your manner. ABOUT THE ROLE

Support the Finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial processing and reporting. Where allocated, this role focuses on income and expenditure transactions, financial controls, reconciliations, and customer and supplier support, while providing cross-functional support across the Finance department to ensure continuity and compliance.

Some, or all of, the tasks below will be allocated to this role, assisted by the Senior Finance Assistants and supervised by the Financial Controller.

Daily monitoring of income and payments inboxes and related correspondences, support the end-to-end process, record and amend income and payments information in financial and other databases, and provide support on related banking queries.

Work alongside income teams in invoicing, receipting payments, issuing statements, allocating income, approving refunds and onwards union fee disbursements. Support query resolution, and monitor unallocated cash and union fees.

Process and record supplier BACS and other payments efficiently and accurately, and in accordance with accounting procedures. Record payment transactions in the finance database, including cash allocation and currency conversions. Support internal teams and meetings in relation to delegate prepaid cards, including processing transactions, issuing new cards and stopping or cancelling cards as required. Support the prepaid card platform, ensuring all records are kept up-to-date and centrally located to assist colleagues.

Assist in processing expense claims in line with policy. Process transactions for employee cash claims and corporate credit card purchases, issue new cards and stop or cancel cards as required.

Support month and year-end close processes, reporting, reconciliations and audit.

Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls, and support the design and implementation of new systems, policies, and processes within the Finance team responsibilities

ABOUT YOU 

We are looking for a highly numerate and organised individual with a strong ethical approach. The ideal candidate will have:

Essential criteria:

• Experience: Processing invoices, payments, other transactions and financial information.
• IT proficiency: Advanced Excel and intermediate Word skills. Must have practical experience with complex finance databases (e.g., Sage, Oracle, SAP), reporting tools, and expense claim systems.
• Personal attributes: High levels attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency, and the organisational skills to meet tight deadlines. Willingness and ability to learn new responsibilities and adapt to evolving processes. Must be fluent in English.

Job Title: Support Mentor

Location: Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), the service is a short walk from Ladbroke Grove (Circle and Hammersmith) station. Unfortunately, this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £27,000 (Full Time equivalent) 

Shift Pattern: Part Time 15 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota between 09:00 - 17:00 and 13:00 - 21:00. You may be required to work bank holidays and evenings as required. 

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service. The role includes:

• Supporting residents with daily tasks
• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
• Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
• Encourage residents to take part in activities and events
• Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary
• Carry out general housing management support

About You

We're looking for someone who has a true passion to support those who have multiple and complex needs, with a drive to help support those who suffer with homelessness, mental health, and substance use. You will be able to build rapport and trusting relations in a professional setting, and able to build positive outcomes. You will have an adaptable and flexible approach to helping others, with an understanding that each individual has different levels and types of support needs. Further we look for:

• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector, particularly around multiple and complex needs

Fundraising & Income Generation

· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups, individuals, and businesses to support our shared mission

Right now, we are looking for an Intervention Worker to play a pivotal role in our Criminal Justice Service in Battersea.

Approved Premises (APs) work with high-risk people released from prison, providing a vital element in public protection arrangements. APs offer a level of contact, support and supervision within the community that is unique within the Criminal Justice System. This is an opportunity to be part of a dedicated, enthusiastic staff team at our male Approved Premises in Battersea, playing a key role in pro-social modelling, rehabilitation and community reintegration for those ready to make positive choices.

Working closely with Probation Officers and other community services such as police, health, housing and substance misuse, we provide a stepping stone from prison into the community.

As a member of the Approved Premises team, you will model pro-social behavior and foster a positive, respectful culture with both clients and colleagues. You will actively engage with residents, supporting communal activities such as meal preparation, and contribute to the delivery of individual sentence plans in collaboration with probation officers, police, and external agencies.

Your role will involve providing administrative and practical support, ensuring daily tasks are completed, and following all operational protocols. You will encourage compliance and enforce rules relating to curfews and drug and alcohol testing as required. Keeping colleagues, multi-agency partners, and management informed is essential.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health, safety, security, cleanliness, and well-being of the premises and residents, utilizing tools such as CCTV, observation, and direct personal contact. Accurate, timely record-keeping and appropriate information sharing with respect for confidentiality are critical components of this role.

Using your initiative, you will identify and address additional tasks or emerging issues, working within the service to maintain an enabling environment. Adherence to the Approved Premises Manual, Hestia policies, and relevant justice service requirements is expected, alongside consistently demonstrating The Hestia Approach.

This role involves working closely with high-risk offenders transitioning from prison to community life, providing a unique level of daily support, supervision, and tailored interventions. You will empower residents to take responsibility for themselves while maintaining appropriate boundaries and supervision. The position operates on a rolling rota covering early, late, weekend, and night shifts to ensure continuous support and public protection.

The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Prevention Team, sits within the wider Fundraising and Communications directorate and delivers the UK SAYS NO MORE campaign and Everyone's Business. 

Everyone's Business works with employers to deliver a domestic abuse and sexual violence response to their employees along with offering a range of tools and resources such as the Everyones Business Respond to Abuse Advice Line, a training package and an employee IDVA and ISVA service. The team have worked with approximately 250 employers ranging from large multi-national companies to statutory organisations and local authorities. 

Please note this is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK with the requirement to be at our Head Office in London 1 day a week (Thursday).

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role involves providing both emotional and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and other forms of gender-based violence, including those at high risk. This includes completing DASH risk assessments and tailoring support to each survivor's individual needs. The postholder responds to referrals from employees with lived experience of abuse through the Everyone's Business IDSVA service and acts as the lead IDVA/ISVA for some contracted business partnerships. They work closely with businesses adopting IDVA/ISVA services and are responsible for maintaining and updating business development plans as required.

A key part of the role includes building relationships and raising awareness with partner organisations through meetings and training, and working collaboratively with criminal and civil justice agencies, health services, SARCs, police, courts, social care, and other voluntary sector organisations. The role includes conducting needs and risk assessments, developing individual safety and support plans, and acting as a single point of contact for survivors throughout their journey, whether or not they choose to report to police. It also includes multi-agency advocacy and attendance at MARACs, always maintaining a trauma-informed and survivor-focused approach.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The role requires an ISVA or IDVA qualification or equivalent relevant experience supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse or sexual violence, along with a willingness to undertake further training. A strong understanding of the impact of domestic and gender-based violence on survivors and their children is essential, as is experience in risk assessment, safety and support planning, and providing both emotional and practical support, including guidance on legal remedies.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with employers to respond to domestic and sexual violence, as well as a good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and trauma-informed practice. Knowledge of intersectionality, diversity, and equality is important, along with experience participating in the MARAC process and working within a multi-agency framework.

The role also demands excellent administrative and time management skills, confidence working independently, and the ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure. Proficiency in using digital systems to accurately record casework and prior experience in delivering presentations or training sessions are also required.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team based in West Ealing. We support adults experiencing homelessness, isolation, mental health challenges and addiction. We provide support and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The service has two 24/7 multi-bed premises which provide supported housing for individuals facing addiction and homelessness. 

In this role, you will work closely with our residents to provide tailored person-centred support to enable our residents to feel empowered to overcome personal challenges, and achieve their desired goals. You will support them with re-integrating into the community through tailored support plans, interventions, and working closely with our stakeholders.

Young Carers Support Coordinator (Families Lead)

Our client is a small independent charity who supports young people who take on caring responsibilities for an unwell or disabled family member between the ages of 8 - 25. They provide programmes of support to empower Young Carers to look after their physical and emotional wellbeing and have experiences they would otherwise miss out on.

They believe that Young Carers are children first, and should be free to develop emotionally, and take full advantages of opportunities for educational achievement and life success.

As a Young Carers Support Coordinator (Families Lead), you will work as part of a small dynamic team to deliver their support programmes for Young Carers. This will include supporting their exploration programme and activities programme and young adult carers programme.

You will also coordinate the organisations referral and assessment process form start to finish. This will include database entry, contacting referrers, allocating cases and booking and carrying out assessments. You will also provide on-going support to families via phone, referrals, signposting and attending relevant multi-agency meetings.

They run an Exploration Programme which focuses on wellbeing – this currently runs on Wednesday afternoon/evenings during term time.

They run an Activities Programme which focuses on new experiences and respite – these are daytimes during school holidays. Usually, two or three per school holiday week.
