The Health Collective is one of our central campaigns. It has emerged out of the urgent need to close the health gap for women from marginalised communities and is made up of and led by grassroots organisations, representing women’s voices from every marginalised community in our society.

The Health Collective Community Manager will be responsible for managing the development, expansion, and sustainability of the Health Collective.

This role will focus on managing and growing the existing community of members, organising and facilitating regular meetings, content creation for the Health Collective, coordinating the development of a unique identity for the group, and establishing an online community forum.

The role will also involve coordinating training sessions, events, and communication between the Collective and external stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing community that empowers women and promotes health equality.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for women to connect, learn, and share their experiences around health and well-being, as well as influencing national and local policy to reduce health inequalities (for women from marginalised communities).

The ideal candidate will be skilled in community engagement, digital content creation, and communication, with a strong passion for women’s health and empowerment.

Main Duties

Community Engagement & Growth

• Actively manage and grow the online and offline community, recruiting new members from all marginalised communities and fostering a sense of trust and connection.
• Design and manage regular communications with members, updating them about upcoming HC events/meetings, news/policy relevant to the inequalities agenda and funding/research opportunities.
• Set up and run a virtual community for members and monitor and moderate community interactions to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain members, promoting inclusivity and engagement.

Content Creation & Communication

• Create and share high-quality, educational, and influencing content across social media platforms and the website.
• Collaborate with experts, healthcare providers, and advocates to produce webinars, workshops, and other community-centred initiatives.
• Work with a designer and members to create the Health Collective's logo and identity.

Event Coordination

• Plan, organize, and manage virtual and in-person health collective meetings, liaising with members to determine the agenda and experts to find a diverse range of speakers.
• Collaborate with external partners to enhance event quality and reach.

Monitoring, evaluation & reporting

• Record and monitor the Collective’s activities (output) and their effectiveness (impact) through data collection, surveys, interviews and case studies.
• Report on project progress and update the Wellbeing of Women team regularly.
• Report on project progress to National Lottery at least twice a year with information about the Collective’s outputs and impact along with an expenditure budget for the period
• Work with an external consultant to assess the Collective’s impact annually.

Advocacy

• Work with the Head of Comms and Campaigns to build relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and organisations aligned with the collective’s mission.
• Monitor news and political developments relevant to the Health Collective’s work.

What you would be doing:

Key duties will include:

For this role, we can offer flexibility around working from home if required. It is expected the role will need to work from their site base a few times a month and as required for key meetings. Baby Lifeline is a highly respected national charity whose mission is to ensure the healthiest and best outcomes possible from pregnancy and birth.

Founded over 40 years ago by Judy Ledger following the personal tragedy of losing three premature babies, we have since purchased many million pounds’ worth of equipment for maternity and neonatal units, produced nationally recognised reports and research projects, staged highly successful annual UK maternity safety conferences, and provided ongoing evidence-based, multi-professional training to reduce avoidable harm and death in maternity. As Assistant Donation Hub Manager, your primary purpose is to support the efficient and effective operation of our Donations Hub, ensuring that all incoming stock is sorted, processed, and distributed in line with the needs of our retail and ecommerce operations.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager to manage a complex and varied stock flow coming from multiple sources - including in-store donations, house clearances, home collections, corporate and community events, and direct drop-offs from the public. A key part of your role will be to ensure these donations are processed efficiently, assessed for maximum value, and appropriately segmented to drive income across our 14 shops and online platforms.

This is a highly practical and physical role that requires strong organisational skills and a deep understanding of operational logistics. You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely fulfilment of shop orders, maintaining high standards of stock quality by both sorting incoming donations from shops, allocating corporate donations and supporting the movement and dispatch of goods in a way that maximises efficiency and minimises waste.

You’ll lead day-to-day activities in the hub, supervising volunteers and working collaboratively with drivers to deliver an excellent internal service to shop teams. You will also act as a key support for community-facing donation activity - helping to deliver excellent service during home collections, managing local donor interactions at the warehouse, and assisting with the logistics of house clearances.

Flexibility will be vital, as the role will operate across a seven-day rota and may require you to deputise for the Operations Manager or drivers when needed. Experience in a charity retail setting, excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, and a general understanding of charity retail would be a distinct advantage. A full UK driving licence is also highly desirable.

Role Responsibilities

· Support the day-to-day running of the donation hub, ensuring a smooth, accurate and timely flow of donations through the hub

Working for the RSS

Pension and benefits

Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. Your contributions of up to 8% of salary will be double matched by the Society (making a maximum contribution by the Society of 16%). Location

The RSS office is in central London. We offer flexible working arrangements, and this is a hybrid role with a minimum two days a week working in the office. Catch22 is looking for a compassionate leader to join our growing Greater Manchester Victim Services as Deputy Head of Service. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the effective delivery of support for victims and witnesses as you help them on their journey to recovery.

Reporting to the Head of Service, you’ll provide line management to team leaders and administrators, implement systems for quality service delivery, and manage recruitment, training and supervision. We are looking for a Direct Marketing Fundraising Manager to join an inspiring environmental charity to be responsible for planning and managing a portfolio of products comprising Appeals, Raffle, Lottery and the mailing of the supporter magazine.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the surrey office.

The Charity

The Role
Work with senior fundraisers and other stakeholders to prepare and deliver direct marketing product strategy, plans, budgets, and presentations to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Be responsible for managing budgets of circa £300K.

Work with fundraising, digital and CRM teams and external suppliers to brief and manage the delivery of direct mail and multi-channel campaigns

Define audience segmentation (supporters and donors), preparing data briefs, campaign setup and reporting, for multi-channel communications

Be responsible for campaigns and communications to cold and warm UK audiences.

The Candidate
Experience of delivering direct marketing strategy for acquisition and retention that is audience-centric, rooted in insight and target driven.

Track record of leading multichannel campaigns, managing the successful delivery of direct mail and collaborating on digital ideally in a charity setting.

Hands-on experience of working with creative agencies, print production houses and mailing service providers to deliver best-in-class collateral and communications

Experience working with data and segmentation, reporting and analysis, to monitor results and act on insights to achieve KPI and income targets.
