Willow is recruiting a new Individual Giving Fundraiser and Prospectus is excited to lead the search. Willow work tirelessly to provide support and special days for seriously ill 16-40 year olds. This newly created role will work in a hybrid setup from home and the Hertfordshire office.
The Individual Giving Fundraiser will be responsible for cultivating and stewardship relationships with individual donors with a focus on acquiring and retaining regular givers as well as coordinating appeals, raffles, legacy and in-memory programmes. The selected candidate will have experience of working in direct marketing with good working knowledge of donor recruitment, retention and development. Job Purpose
Your legacy will be a tangible impact on slowing down climate change, helping nature recover and creating social impact by leading on landowner and stakeholder engagement for the Lower Chew Landscape Recovery project that will see thousands of acres of local land managed in harmony with nature. You will join a fast-growing organisation that started in 2019 with four volunteers and has grown to a staff team of thirteen (which will double over 2024), over 1,000 volunteers and ownership of 170 acres (soon to be 600 acres) of land that will grow woodlands of over 160,000 trees.
The project
Landscape Recovery is one of Defra’s three environmental land management schemes. Avon Needs Trees has been awarded development phase funding for Landscape Recovery in the Lower Chew. This is a unique opportunity to help co-design nature’s recovery and social impact at a landscape scale. The project will engage existing landowners and managers across over 867 hectares of land in the Lower Chew, an area where good quality but fragmented woodland provides a basis for woodland connectivity and large-scale woodland creation, as part of a mosaic of grassland and woodland habitat. This locally-cherished landscape of rolling farmland on the edge of Bristol is the strategic setting for delivering local environmental and social priorities. Avon Needs Trees woodland projects include two Wiltshire Woodlands, the Great Avon Wood, Ed Woods, and the upcoming Lower Chew Forest.
Main responsibilities
● Join and help to lead our journey to discover the increased impact that private finance can bring to nature’s recovery
● Become our in-house expert on the local natural capital market and other forms of bringing private finance into nature’s recovery, including identifying and building relationships with potential future partners
● Being a strong advocate, internally and externally, for the landscape recovery project and the benefits it will deliver
● Leading on the delivery of the blended finance and business model for landscape recovery project, including:
○ Baselining agricultural finances
○ Finance model design, development and implementation
○ Landowner consultation on blended finance and business model
○ Developing a framework for natural capital
○ Ensuring legal agreements are compatible with blended finance models
● Work with the wider Avon Needs Trees team to help build a resilient, multi-site charity and undertake any other work necessary to pursue our aims

We are looking for a Member Engagement Officer to assist a lively and talented team with all areas of Remember a Charity’s membership administration, in addition to supporting the marketing and partnerships workstreams.
This is a unique opportunity not only to help grow charitable giving, but to also work closely with those member charities (close to 200) who rely on gifts in Wills to continue their vital work.
Key Accountabilities
- To maintain and update records on Remember A Charity’s CRM database and E-Comms mailing lists for charities, legal supporters and partner organisations. To run CRM reports as required.
- To assist with the onboarding of new joiner charities and legal sector supporters.
- To use the website content management system (CMS) to build member charity and legal sector supporter online profiles; and to make any amends to these profiles and other website pages as required.
- To manage the central Inbox and respond to all enquiries or signpost to the relevant team member.
- To co-ordinate the programme of rolling annual membership renewal and new-joiner invoicing, including credit control of all invoices.
- To prepare monthly engagement report collating key activity metrics for members and legal sector supporters.

Chetham’s School of Music is seeking a Senior Development Manager to join the internationally renowned specialist music school located in city centre Manchester. Chetham’s is a magical place, home to the UK’s largest specialist music school, the oldest library in the English speaking world and a world-class concert venue all in the heart of Manchester.
The job
- We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraiser to join Chetham’s as Senior Development Manager to manage the development team in securing over £600k of income per annum across Chetham’s School of Music, Library and The Stoller Hall. This is a great progression opportunity for someone currently working in fundraising.
- Supported by the Joint Principals, Head of Communications, the Creative Commercial Director and the Board: The Senior Development Manager will drive forward fundraising at Chetham’s and ensure that storytelling is used creatively to promote our vision – to make music and education more accessible, to enrich the lives of people in Manchester and beyond, and to improve wellbeing through the magic of music and learning. The role is ideally suited to somebody looking to grow into a senior fundraising role, and you will be supported by colleagues and mentorship from board members.
- Our development team is small but ambitious and includes a part time Development Manager and full time Fundraising Administrator. Working alongside our communications department, the development team manage a variety of income streams including a successful trust and foundation portfolio, donations, growing major donor and patron programme. There is opportunity to grow income from regular giving, legacies and corporate.
- The ideal candidate will have 5+ years fundraising experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and confidence working with a range of different stakeholders. Experience working in a similar arts organisation with a track record of securing five-figure gifts and a knowledge of database systems is highly desirable.
- This a full time, permanent role working 35 per week.

All part of the ambitious plans fo the charity to raise its profile and relevance even further, to reach and help more people than ever. We are looking for a Fundraising and Events Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to the Fundraising Managers (Corporate, Major Donor, Legacy, Individual Membership, Trusts & Foundations) and to the Head of Services by administering donor and supporter records and assisting with events and general operational duties.
Main Responsibilities
Fundraising General (65%)
- Organizing and maintaining membership and donation data in the CRM database (Donorfy)
- First point of contact for supporter enquiries (email/phone)
- Taking telephone donations when required
- Flagging contact/donations to relevant team members
- Printing and posting thank you letters for offline donors
Events (20%)
- Monitor the events@inbox
- Monitor event bookings and process invoices as required
- Liaise with speakers, attendees and sponsors as appropriate

General (10%)
- Monitor Tinnitus UK email info@ inbox responding to emails or directing to colleagues as necessary
- Stationery and mailroom stock checks and replenishing of stock as required
- Assist the Office Manager with office administrative tasks
- Work across the Tinnitus UK team and assist in all areas of work
- Attend internal and external meetings, events and training
- Assist the office manager with bookings of meetings/conference venues for Trustee Board and other meetings/training days
- Organise travel and accommodation as and when required
- Undertake training (In-house and external) as required
- Be flexible and carry out associated duties that may arise, develop, or be assigned in line with the broad remit of the post
Stewardship (5%)
- Provide a basic level of stewardship to event fundraisers - (thanking, providing publicity materials, passing stories to communications colleagues)
- Administering JustGiving and other fundraising platforms
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- Good basic education to GCSE standard or equivalent (GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English)
- Entitled to live and work in the UK
- Experience of database administration (CRM desirable)
- Fundraising admin and stewardship
- Events admin and support
- Handling phone, digital and postal enquiries
- Experience of using a number of different IT systems including Microsoft Office 365 - such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word & Powerpoint
Desirable
- NVQ level 2/3 in administration or other secretarial qualification
- experience in an office environment providing administrative support to multiple teams
- Experience of using client management databases such as Donorfy (full training provided)
