About The Role
You will be working in a collaborative, fast-paced and creative environment and will play a key role within our Engagement Team to strengthen Youth Music’s relationships with individual givers. This role will focus on engaging individuals to support our mission, managing relationships with community supporters, and delivering strategies to enhance community fundraising and individual giving.
About You
You are a motivated and relationship-driven individual who is passionate about music and making a difference. You will have a strong ability to engage, motivate and influence prospective and existing individual givers, a strategic mindset for fundraising and supporter engagement, and excellent stewardship skills. Your ability to build lasting relationships with our donors and community fundraisers will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute a strategic plan for growing community fundraising and individual giving, and monitor and evaluate the impact of this.
- Take ownership of Youth Music’s guestlist donation initiative, securing gigs to add an optional donation in aid of Youth Music.
- Support the Philanthropy Lead in cultivating major donor relationships and co-investment opportunities with charitable trusts and foundations.
- Support the Ambassador & Supporter Engagement Manager and Philanthropy Lead with administration of onboarding Youth Music advocates and Change Makers.
- Lead on the administration and organisation of community fundraising events/activities. You will support challenge event participants with their fundraising by liaising with them before and after events, ensuring they feel prepared and have the Youth Music resources they require.
- Work with the Communications Team to make the most of the exciting communications opportunities that exist in the run-up to, during and after fundraising activities and events - including helping to collect, create and distribute photos, videos, news stories, interviews and social media posts.
- Lead on Gifts in Wills and Legacy Giving.
- Manage our fundraising reconciliation, carefully producing donation reports and logging donor information on Salesforce.
Other roles will include supporting the Engagement team with an array of day-to-day tasks such as:
- Provide supporter care; taking and responding to supporter enquiries via phone, email or post.
- Work on securing gifts, raffle prizes and other sponsorship to elevate community events and fundraisers.
- Manage the fundraising enquiries inbox and be the first point of contact for receiving donations and giving advice on how to fundraise for Youth Music.
- Contribute to Youth Music’s media channels to promote and support campaigns and events.
- Update Salesforce with accurate information about all donations and fundraising activities, and support others in its training and use.
- Ensure that all fundraising processes are compliant with GDPR regulations and Fundraising Regulator practice.
- Keep up to date with trends in community fundraising, corporate fundraising and charity events.
- Attend evening events as required, including potential travel and overnight stays.
- Be proactive in identifying opportunities for learning and professional development to ensure excellence and continuous improvement.
- Represent Youth Music at events.

Person Specification
Minimum Criteria
- Two years experience of working in a fundraising/similar role.
- Experience identifying and securing new supporters and managing existing donors.

Working as part of the Development Team, to plan and execute effective fundraising strategies for Derby Theatre. The role will have a particular focus on copywriting for trusts and foundations, cultivating donor relationships and coordinating and developing Derby Theatres’ Friends scheme. Key responsibilities

The School:
Merchant Taylors’ School is a large Independent Boys’ School, situated in 280 acres of parkland in Northwood, Middlesex. The School was founded in 1561, is owned by the Merchant Taylors’ Educational Trust and moved to its present site in 1933. There are four distinct boys’ day schools on campus. The Nursery, the Pre-Prep & the Prep cater for 370 boys, while the Senior School has over 960 pupils. Main duties and responsibilities:
Fundraising
· Developing and innovating the school’s regular giving programme, the Merchant Taylors’ Fund, to ensure a consistent income stream and increased participation from alumni, parents and friends.
· In conjunction with external consultants, running our (currently) biennial telephone fundraising campaigns and Giving Days.
· Liaising with school departments, clubs and societies to identify exciting projects to motivate supporters.

SLOW is the only charity offering weekly in person and online support groups to bereaved parents and siblings in London and across the UK.

Based in London, SLOW (Surviving the Loss of Your World) has offered emotional and practical support for over eighteen years to bereaved families in the UK that have lost a child in any circumstances. Our unique approach to working with parents and siblings is highly regarded by our members and professionals and we are proud to have won the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
Our work is centred around regular support groups for bereaved parents, adult siblings and creative workshops for bereaved younger siblings. All our groups are facilitated by trained bereaved parents or siblings. Our members regularly refer to our groups as a ‘lifeline’. Our model of bereavement support is unique and is a direct response to what bereaved parents have told us they need.
SLOW is a registered charity with an income of currently circa £185k. The charity has a stable resource base with a range of income sources – some annual, some on multi-year commitments and other funding resulting from planned and targeted approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the leadership of the Charity Director, the Fundraiser will manage the day-to-day fundraising and support the Charity Director in raising funds and developing SLOW’s income to ensure financial stability. You will assist the Charity Director in achieving the annual income and suggest new revenue streams.

Head of Philanthropy
Hours: 4 days per week (30 hours)
Salary: £42,000 (per annum pro rata)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Philanthropy on an initial 6 month fixed term contract basis, working for a high performing and well-respected Hospice in the South East.
As Head of Philanthropy at The Hospice of St Francis, you will be accountable for the planning and delivery of at least £1.5 million annually and stewarding legacy income. You will curate a new vision for philanthropy bringing in new donors, funding vehicles and new five and six figure gifts. Develop and deliver an ambitious philanthropy strategy, driving sustainable income growth.
You will cultivate relationships with a range of donors creating high quality donor experiences, from exclusive events to visits that showcase our work. A credible ambassador, you will invest time in listening to supporters and partners to build networks and enhance trust and confidence in donation.
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven leader with strong financial acumen. You will have a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, with experience exploring innovative fundraising models and a proven track record in securing six figure gifts from individuals, trusts and foundations. You will bring relevant experience in Philanthropy from the third/ charitable sector.

The Role As the Individual Giving Manager, you will spearhead the expansion of our Regular Gifts, Individual Gifts, In Memory, Prize led and Legacy Marketing portfolio. This role involves managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns, using insight to drive performance. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our individual giving programme, supported by a dedicated assistant and working closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and supporter care and deputising for our Head of Fundraising and Trading when required. You will be instrumental in managing income streams projected to raise £300,000 this year, with ambitions for future growth.
About You You are a dynamic individual with a successful track record in IG, RG or prize led fundraising, capable of securing significant income. Your skills include:

- Proven experience in direct marketing and digital fundraising.

Building on a 180 year track record they work to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities through their wide range of disability care, special education and rehabilitation services across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
With exceptional people skills, the successful Individual Giving Manager (Retention) will be responsible for developing and delivering strategies that strengthen relationships with existing cash supporters, regular givers and gaming (lottery) supporters to ensure they feel valued, engaged, and connected to Shaftesbury’s mission. This role focuses on enhancing supporter loyalty and lifetime value through personalised, insight-led communications and stewardship initiatives.
Working across a range of channels—including direct mail, telemarketing, gaming, and digital—you will drive income growth by deepening engagement and identifying opportunities to increase income from existing supporters.
You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in donor retention, direct marketing, or individual giving within the charity sector, with a strong understanding of audience segmentation and donor journeys.
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to tailor compelling and persuasive fundraising appeals for a range of audiences.
- Experience of setting, working to, and meeting, fundraising targets, with an innovative approach to developing new fundraising products.
- Excellent organisational skills including experience of planning and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to Shaftesbury’s Mission, Values and Christian ethos
You will be a collaborative, team player with the ability to work under pressure and deliver outcomes to tight deadlines with exceptional project management skills. Experience of working with telemarketing or similar agencies to drive revenue is desirable, but not essential, as is experience with legacy marketing and gaming products and a familiarity with digital marketing / fundraising, and email automation tools. Knowledge of care sector fundraising, local authority funding and HMRC Gift aid processes would also be an advantage.

We’re recruiting for a Development Manager!
The Mill is a small scale multi-art form venue with big ambitions. Situated in the North Oxfordshire market town of Banbury, it is the focus of cultural life as the only public arts and performance venue in the Cherwell District.
Our 237-seat theatre plays host to high quality professional theatre, dance, comedy and music productions, whilst supporting opportunities for local community arts organisations to work and perform in a professional space. Our studio facilities offer a packed creative learning and participation programme focusing on both the visual and performing arts, covering everything from jewellery making to yoga, watercolour painting to creative writing and much more in between. In addition our café/bar and gallery area offers opportunities for local artists to exhibit and sell their work. The Development Manager will lead on delivery of The Mill Arts Centre’s fundraising strategy, with a particular focus on establishing new income streams through relationship-based fundraising including through the prospecting and stewardship of high-net worth individuals, companies and legacies.
You will develop and implement strategies to recruit and cultivate new supporters and oversee the stewardship of current relationships with care, with a focus on building new income streams from mid and major gifts.

Contract: Permanent, 0.5FTE (20 hours per week – schedule to be discussed)
Salary: £35,548.80 FTE (£17,774.40)
Holidays: 22 days per year FTE (11 days pro rata at 0.5FTE) plus public holidays
